Our party of 10 was made up of 5 adults, 3 kids, and 2 crying babies which didn’t make for the most relaxing breakfast buffet. But being situated outdoors, in the beautiful Trump International Hotel, we managed to enjoy a delicious breakfast. The buffet spread includes pastries and some of the best stick donuts in town, as well as a made to order omelet station. Yogurt, fresh fruits, waffles, miso soup, somen, and standard items like scrambled eggs and bacon are also on all you can eat status. You can also order items if they are not on the line that day like French toast, pancakes, breakfast meats, and oatmeal from your server. The kids loved ordering smoothies that were included in the buffet price. What really stood out to me was the service. Our servers were amazing and always on point. It made our experience outstanding. Adults are $ 33 and children 6 and over are $ 17. The breakfast buffet is served daily from 6:30 — 10:30am.

Great food. The selection of Japanese style food is nothing like I’ve seen beforehand. Great deal for the price, you get a lot more for your money than other Nearby hotels. The staff is friendly and very attentive.

I absolutely loved In-Yo! I had no idea there was a breakfast buffet at the Trump but thanks to my friend who raved about it, we decided to do a birthday brunch for one of our friends. This place is like a hidden gem. The selection isn’t huge but who wants to eat that much for breakfast/brunch anyway? I thought it was the perfect amount. I actually don’t like it when there’s too many choices cause then I can’t decide what I want to eat since I want to try everything! They had your typical breakfast buffet foods, a little salad bar, fresh fruits(they had mountain apples which is rare to see at a buffet!), mini waffles and pancakes with toppings and some Japanese food items like natto and soba. I love that they had an omelette station and bagels. The omelette was perfectly made and just the right size. What’s also awesome is that you can order coffee drinks or create your own smoothie which is all included in the buffet! I decided to make a coconut and mango smoothie which my friends at first didn’t think sounded good but it actually came out really good… almost like a piña colada ;) The buffet is $ 33 per person which I thought was very reasonable esp in a fancy hotel. The service was excellent and our waiter(who wasn’t so bad to look at) was so accommodating. Love that I found another breakfast/brunch place to go to!

A little spendy, but very good! Servers are very attentive, and the food is fresh! Great coffee! If you’re on a budget, this is not the place to go. But if you’re staying at Trump, it’s definitely Trump worthy!

I love the Trump brand and the building, but I was disappointed by the food served at In-Yo. I ordered the steak and my friend ordered the chicken and it tasted like room service food and not what you’d expect from a restaurant at the Trump, although they may come from the same kitchen. We also got some type of mini buffet and my friend and I were both disappointed with the limited selection. I don’t know if it would have made a difference to the quality of the food and selection, but the actual restaurant was in another part of the building at the time as the actual restaurant was under some type of construction. The bar however was excellent. One of the best Mai Tai’s I’ve had. I forget the bartenders name but he made us custom drinks and was very friendly. Probably the only reason I’d go back! They also validate if you want to valet park which bumped them at the last minute from 2 stars to 3.

I went for the breakfast buffet. I don’t think it’s worth the price. Although they have a variety of foods, they don’t have ume to go with the okayu, and they don’t have strawberries as part of the fresh fruits. I think the thing I liked the best was the natto(which is just packaged nothing special) and the mini-diced fruits.

Very disappointed in this breakfast buffet offered by Trump Hotel. Everything else at the Trump has been grand, but this buffet spread underwhelms. In my opinion, a hodgepodge of food. Asian Miso soup, noodles and sticky white rice. Waffles with 6 syrups and whipped cream. Random cheese. Scrambled eggs, dry potatoes and an assortment of cold croissants. Overall, an okay selection, but for the price($ 30 for adults and $ 16 for kids), I expected more.

Great buffet if you’re looking for quality over quantity(in selections). Buffet comes with made to order eggs, and smoothie(raspberry was awesome!, so was guava, cookie monster) $ 33+ tax&tip for adults, half off on the buffet for children ages 6 – 12, and children 5 yrs and younger eat free(once again, off of the buffet menu) They have a separate ala carte and children’s menu also. Servers were attentive, and they will validate parking(valet) for up to 4 hours. Enter on Saratoga Rd. Will definitely return! The other restaurant-Wai’olu Ocean View Lounge’s Mai Tai was voted«best in the world». I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to order it here also, so give this place a try! Friendly servers.

A great buffet! We stayed at the Trump for four nights and this was the best breakfast we had in Waikiki. Fresh fruit, wonderful pastries, quickly made omelets to order. My fav was the waffle bar. The service would get a five on its own.

breakfast buffet 2 times at 7:30am, early enough for food to be fresh, but it wasn’t. even when fresh it was obvious the hot food was overcooked. at $ 32 plus tax and tip i expect more. beautiful setting. too many servers not enough kitchen staff is my guess.

One early morning on my honeymoon in Honolulu, my wife and I came down Saratoga Rd with the intent of having breakfast at Eggs n’ things. Upon seeing the masses waiting outside and 1 hour wait for a seat, we decided to continue down the street and discovered the In-Yo café and their breakfast buffet. Expensive? Yes! Delicious? YES! First off, I am always a fan of a breakfast buffet that makes your eggs to order. There aren’t enough of them that do it. In-yo does :) I devoured many over-easy eggs that morning. They also have a good selection of your average breakfast buffet foods like sausage, bacon and hashbrowns. However, they also had some great Asian foods like miso that you can add your own ingredients to, steamed buns and somen noodles. This was not a cheap breakfast, but I really enjoyed it. If you have a little money to spare, this is definitely worth a visit.

Went to In-Yō for the first time for Sunday Brunch. If you have not yet been to the Trump Hotel, finding In-Yō might be a slight challenge. Take the«ground» elevators(in the lobby) up one floor to the lobby«L.» You will know if you are on the right floor if you see the reception area and Wai’olu to your right after getting out of the elevator. Walk down the hallway to your left towards the pool.(In-Yō is kind of behind the elevators, so you’ll have to «circle» around.) Follow the building until you reach the In-Yō hostess station. Someone should be stationed there to seat you. Sunday Brunch is $ 30 per person. Mimosas are $ 10 — if you are planning on having a couple, go with the bottomless Mimosas for $ 15. And just FYI, Grey Goose is $ 10.(I like Bloody Marys.) For Sunday Brunch, the spread was kind of light and limited. Fruits, pastries, omelet station , salad bar (mixed greens, garbanzo beans, beets, kidney beans, olives, jalapeños, tomatoes, several kinds of dressing, etc.), rice, seasoned potatoes, steamed veggies, link sausage, bacon, cod with cream sauce, chicken, miso soup, and dessert… That was pretty much the extent of the buffet. The spread wasn’t very extravagant, but the food was sure filling and delicious. The two omelets I had were very well made with just the right amount of each filling/topping I had asked for. The cod with cream sauce must have been a favorite among the patrons at In-Yō because I noticed the platter constantly being replenished. Dessert was excellent; the haupia pie was a hit on our table. The service was friendly and quick. Water was constantly refilled and plates were taken away at just the right times. A DJ at Sunday Brunch? Sure! Why not! It was kind of unexpected to see and hear the DJ mixing it up at Sunday Brunch, but it was a nice touch. I’d come here again, but maybe for something other than Sunday Brunch. The food is good, so I’d like to see what else they have to offer. Unilocal 365 — #039/365

I wouldn’t recommend. We wanted a nice Sunday brunch. Here is where they failed… The made to order omelets were missing ordered ingredients. The food was sub par on the buffet. It was very limited and not that fresh. The service was mediocre, it took awhile to get any drinks such as water orange juice or tea. The coffee was cold. All of this for $ 32 a person plus tax and tip. Oh, and before we left I had to run to the restroom to vomit.

Currently the In-Yo restaurant is temporarily situated inside the Waiolu lounge area(Ewa side of tower). The permanent space will be on the diamond head side of Trump tower. It is located on the lobby level(6th floor), and the view Ewa is quite peaceful and beautiful during the evening. The dinner menu is half Italian and half Japanese. The selection is not too extensive. But the dishes are all pretty solid choices. During my visit, we favored the Italian menu, since in Hawaii we have plenty of Japanese dishes. The portions aren’t overwhelming, but will leave you satisfied. A few recommended dishes include: harvest salad(nice mix of ingredients with flavor balance), japanese bouillabaisse(a mix of seafood with a tasty broth), and veal ossobucco(very rich in flavor). The Tuscan chocolate bread pudding for a pair of chocolate lovers looking to share a dessert… or you can get one a piece… The service was not the greatest. Some people were still in training. HOWEVER, I went for Christmas dinner, and the restaurant was short staffed. Also, like I mentioned above, they are in a temporary space and at the time still in soft-opening stage. The menu may seem a bit overpriced. Maybe this is because it’s located in Trump… or maybe they just use high quality ingredients… you decide. I’d like to vist In-Yo once they are situated in their permanent location. Their permanent location, however, will look onto adjacent hotels and hence will not have as great a view as it does in Waiolu.
