Paradiso Spa & Salon

I went for the first time last Friday. I only got an eyebrow wax, but I can tell this is a very nice place. Right off the bat, I felt very relaxed. I’m not a complainer when it comes to eyebrow waxes, but the method used here was gentler and didn’t make my skin as red as it usually gets after a wax. I’m not very knowledgeable about spa/​salon prices, but they seemed reasonable. I’ll definitely come back here!

My experience at Paradiso Spa was off the chart. Very impressive from stepping into the establishment to receiving great service. Julie Laib is the owner she is educated and knowledgable. This was my first facial, I’m 58! My skin feels and looks so healthy with a glow! Excited for my next appointment! Thanks for this great experience.

Erica Rivas again did a wonderful job of cutting a new style for my hair. She’s patient, thorough, and precise. Great job Erica.

I had my first ever facial over the weekend with Jackie, and it was absolutely amazing! I felt more relaxed leaving there then i do after having massages other places. My skin feels so soft and has a nice glow to it. I plan on making this a more regular thing.
I also get my hair done at this salon, by the wonderful Briana. I have known her for many years now and I can say the girl has some talent. My hair has never looked for felt better.

I have long, thick black hair which nobody likes to do, then someone told me about Erica Rivas and oh my god, she did red highlight through out, they came out great. I live in San Jose and it was worth the drive, she did an amazing job. The place was so clean and I felt like I was in Beverly Hills the way I was being treated. Thank you Erica so much,

This spa was amazing! I have never felt so pampered in my life. I went for a body wrap, and the fact that they sit and massage you while your wrapped up, really helps the time go by in the best way possible. I went again for the IDerm/​hydraMD and again was in heaven through the whole process, and very relieved at the after appearance. I am hooked and will DEFINATELY be going back.

How lucky we are to have such a great spa in Hollister! I had such a relaxing massage there recently, and couldn’t have been more pleased. The environment is beautifully appointed and so serene with the service very courteous and professional. I’ve been to a number of spas in recent years — and this one rates at the top. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and will be back often!

What a true gem here in Hollister! I usually ask for Zakiya when I go in for a facial, She is a gifted professional. She is so sweet and really listens to what you are asking for. The owner, Julie, is so pleasant, my daughter had her when we went in last and didn’t want to leave. I hope someone buys me a facial for Christmas, are ya listening Santa?

I’m thrilled to have this gem right here in Hollister. Just got a haircut and style with Erica in the salon and couldn’t be happier. I have long fine hair and I haven’t found a lot of people that can work layers in, get it volumized and not have it cost a fortune. Erica is a pleasure: sweet, funny and wanting to really understand what you’re trying to accomplish with your look. The venue and staff are terrific. The relaxation area and treatment rooms are big, clean, soothing and surprisingly plentiful. This spa is much larger than the outside leads you to believe. I’ve been to a number of spas and Paradiso heavily rivals those in Saratoga, Monterey, or San Francisco. So proud to have this in our own backyard!

I have been here a few times. Once for a facial and other times for brow shape. Zakiya was awesome! She shaped my brows just as I asked. I was apprehensive in doing it but she assured me all would be good. It was. She was very attentive during facial, it was very relaxing. I didn’t want it to stop! I am looking forward to going back for another one.

This is the first time I’ve ever been here and I must say I loved it! The massage was wonderful and Jenny had a great touch and and made me feel very comfortable. The place is really nice and they have great costumer service. I usually drive all the to Monterey to get pampered but I won’t have to anymore I found a place close to home :)

I received a call today from Julie the Owner regarding my bad eyebrow experience. She was very nice and really wanted to know what made my experience there a less than five star one. We talked it over she was very gracious and took into account all I had to say. She is also giving me a refund on my services. I can tell she really cares about her clients and her business. Like I said this is an amazing place I just happened to have a bad experience but definitely will go in for a massage or facial sometime:)

I will start off by saying my boyfriend and I take every opportunity to get a massage whenever we can squeeze it into our schedule. A couple of our favorites are Burke Williams and the Zen Project… I have to say that Paradiso has just become one of our favorites!
I have wanted to try the Iderm facial for quite some time but could not find any spa that provided this treatment in Northern California. Every once in awhile I would do a search to see if I had missed any spas and finally I stumbled upon the Paradiso Spa & Salon. I was so excited I immediately booked their monthly special which was an Iderm facial plus an hour massage for $ 175 which I thought was a fantastic deal! I also booked a 90 minute massage for my boyfriend.
This spa is beautiful inside and feels very welcoming! I started my treatments with the lovely owner Julie giving me a very relaxing and luxurious feeling Iderm facial. The products that she put on my face during the facial felt so silky and smooth. The foot and arm massage that Julie gives during the infrared dome and ionization treatments were so relaxing. Julie was so nice and very informative, she really makes you feel like her main purpose is to help you get the skin you’ve always wanted!!!
My lovely Iderm facial was followed by a fantastic 60 minute massage from Jenny. On my way out I purchased one of the Yon-​ka products Julie had used during my facial and I left feeling relaxed and extremely happy with my treatments!
I am definitely going back to Paradiso!!!

I had heard that Paradiso was fantastic and I just experienced it for myself!!! The spa is gorgeous on the inside, and I just had the most earth shatteringly relaxing facial with Julie who is so sweet and extremely professional. She walked me through the steps and gave me some skin care education to which I am so grateful. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’m a whole new woman!

Wow! This spa is BEAUTIFULLY appointed and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The front desk makes you feel welcome immediately and lets you know that they truly want you to have a relaxing experience at the spa.
I just had my first treatment at Paradiso Spa by the owner and lead esthetician, Julie. She is very warm and welcoming as well as knowledgeable about skin care and health. I had the iderm facial and it is like no other facial that I have ever had! My skin is very hydrated and my fine lines are less noticeable already. The full benefit will be seen in a few days and I am already impressed. Julie does a very soothing hand, arm, foot and leg massage while the treatment masks are on to help you relax and unwind.
I am particular about who works on my skin, as I am also an esthetician. Julie has a great touch and I would say that her knowledge is advanced as far as skin care and technology are concerned. I look forward to having my facial treatments with Julie going forward and recommend her to anyone who wants a special experience.

This Spa is just gorgeous! I went in for the Iderm Electric Facial. I saw that all the Hollywood stars get this done and that it was finally available here in the Monterey Bay Area. The owner, Julie, is incredible at what she does. She is professional and explained and answered all my concerns. This Electric Facial is incredible. The results were everything I expected and more. Its is so relaxing, there is no pain at all.
You have to try it for yourself. Julie is truly an expert in her field and can help you with any of your skin concerns. Go see her, you won’t be dissappointed!

I just had a great experience getting my hair cut at Paradiso. I am staying in Hollister temporarily and cannot believe what a lovely salon this is. It could easily be in a bigger city and give other salons a run for their money.
Noemi cut my hair and she is awesome. She listened to what I wanted and gave her own insight and suggestions. My hair is perfect and I can say that I have spent double what I spent today on haircuts and not been this happy.
I would also like to say that I have very thick, coarse hair and she was able to work with it beautifully. This is not always the case with hairstylists. I think it helps that she also has thick hair and so she knows what will, and will not, work.

I wanted to leave another review because I have since been lucky enough to experience more of Paradiso’s wonderfulness! I originally came here just for an eyebrow wax and was pleased with how well Zakiya did. Since then, I have returned for facials, waxes, eyebrow tints and haircuts + color.
Zakiya is excellent at what she does, a true master of her art per se. She has educated me about proper skin care and has always been a pleasure to see. I could probably go on for days about how great I think Zakiya’s facials are, but to put it simply, if you’re reading this you NEED to go visit her, you’ll be hooked. My skin feels wonderful after my visit with her and I am in love with the product line Paradiso uses.
Noemi has also worked wonders on my hair. Noemi did an excellent job on my cut and ombré and since my visit with her I have received many compliments on my hair. She listens to what you want and takes her time making sure you’re happy with the end result.
Summed up– You must go visit Paradiso! You won’t be disappointed.

This is not a place to just get a haircut or color. Paradiso is an experience: a great wonderful hair experience. I got some highlights from Marissa and she was great! Not only did she gave my hair color a boost she was very nice and always asking me if I needed anything. While I was waiting for the highlights to settle, she offered a warm pillow which I happily accepted. The ambiance is so warming and relax that you just forget about everything.
