First time trying out this place after driving by it plenty of times. I went around dinner time on a Sunday, which was slightly crowded, but eventually found a seat. I ended up getting the Rib Plate which came with about a half-stack of ribs, 2 sides, a roll and got a drink on the side. The ribs were really good and tender, and the sides were delicious as well. I ended up getting the waffle fries and potato salad. I’ve had better potato salad, but it was still good. The cups were a nice touch too since you could take them home and reuse them. I’m definitely going back to this place more often.

My Dad ordered catering for 70 people for a Memorial gathering at his house in Lake Arrowhead. Andre May, the Owner, delivered the food. He was sent over to me and I was running around still setting up. I showed Andre where to set up and asked if he needed me to help. He said no and I took off. I came back around to check in with him 15 minutes later and everything was set up, he asked if he could turn on the oven and put some hot food in it and I said ‘heck yes!’ I grabbed a small table to put the plates and utensils on and he finished all the set up. I am very grateful to him for all his help. the people loved the food and we had sooo much left over we all took big trays. The only thing we ran out of was plates and utensils. Not sure if it’s because I ate like 5 times or what. Thanks Andre for all your help. It was really appreciated on such a hectic day!

BBQ pulled pork sandwich well the pork was good portion size was small there organization to order wasn’t organized it’s to monitored friendly but what made the experience was a female worker who actually gave me great customer service as I sat down she was friendly and attentive to get me condiments and refill my drink I thought that was really nice to feel like I was in a 4 star restaurant she went out of her way I font know her name but I remember her smiling face Erich will make me come back again because of her .good job I’ll get your name next time so you can be recognized for your great customer service.

Food is always lukewarm, order is always incorrect and the turkey was not cooked thoroughly. Just an FYI… all the meat is precooked and warmed onsite… not a true BBQ. And, the restaurant was very dirty today and was not busy.

Service is good, but don’t go too close to closing, I feel like the food is mediocre. Been during peak hours and food is a little hotter and fresher. Service is great at any time, and the ambiance is good for a quick-service restaurant, just plan on coming in earlier rather than later.

Best pulled pork sandwiches around. Kids eat free is a great deal as well.

Later night was my husbands retirement and I tried Dickeys to cater. Boy am I glad I did, the food was amazing! The food arrived hot and ready to eat. Everyone loved it. They even supplied plates and utensils… I would definitely use them again. Thank you to the crew on duty that day!!!

Not bad, not great. Had a coupon that gave us $ 5 off the XL family pack. Had turkey, pulled pork and brisket. By far the turkey was the best. Four sides were Cesar salad, baked beans, green beans and bacon and baked potato casserole which is pretty much mashed potatoes. Don’t get the green beans and bacon. Gross. People were friendly but not engaging. General manager was really nice though. Ice cream is free but it definitely tastes like free ice cream. I satisfied my curiosity and the verdict is I probably wouldn’t choose to come again, but I wouldn’t revolt if someone else chose it as the dinner choice.

It’s ok. I had the 2 meat platter, ribs and brisket, with baked beans and Cole slaw as sides. I love ribs, but mine were dry, parts almost dehydrated. couldn’t finish. cole slaw like any deli cole slaw. Beans were spicy, with a kick to them. The place was clean employees friendly. Glad I tried it, but wouldn’t go back.

Delicious & delightful, my go to BBQ spot. I’ve eaten at several dickies and this one takes the cake, high quality meats full of flavor. The staff here are incredible kind and welcoming. Great BBQ with good customer service. I always go for their deal of the day, most bang for your buck.

Very Rude Employees! Poor Customer Service!!! Geez! Came in to dine last night around 8:30pm. We decided to get kids meals so I asked the dorky guy behind the glass counter, what’s the difference between the Meat Plate & Sandwich Plate, and here comes the very RUDE heavy set employee lady answered me with a very loud & rude tone of voice. WTH!!! I don’t get why there’s such rude people! And they were all just like playing around, giggling behind the counter. When we got our order, we were supposed to «dine in» but they have our food to go! WTH again! The food was okay. But geez have Better Customer Service. Fire those people that don’t know how to deal with customers. Just saying! Probably won’t be eating at Dickey’s for some time now. Too bad you guys!!! I’ll be spreading the word too!!! Emailed the Manager and he apologized for his employees behavior. But Damaged has been done!!!

This restaurant is a nice spot. The interior was clean and the staff was very nice(almost a little too happy). The only issue I had with the restaurant is that the meat I had received was not as much as I had expected. I was only issued a small amount of meat for the price I had paid for the meal. The food was good, which was not a problem, I just wish they would have provided additional portions to the meal. I will eventually return to this restaurant in the coming future.

Absolutely loved this quaint little BBQ place. The help was very friendly, the food was great, the sweet tea even better, and don’t forget the self serve ice cream for free! I wish we had one in EastLake!

This place is packed at lunchtime & I can see why. The food was really good– meat was moist, BBQ sauce was yummy. Everything was hot — fries are made to order & were delicious. My BF liked it so much, he wanted to go back the next day! The staff is also super nice, manager even came by to see how we were. And hey, how can you complain about a place that offers free soft serve? My kid was in heaven.

This place was great — good atmosphere and food. I had the pulled pork and beef brisket, which were excellent. Sides were very good as well. Nice portion sizes and the soda machine ice was awesome. This is about as authentic as it gets for BBQ. The sauces tasted genuinely southern. The place itself is not cheap, but I’ve never really been to a BBQ place that is. You have to stand in line to order and continue to stand while it’s being prepared. I spent about $ 16 for my meal alone, and had to get the drink, utensils, and sauce on my own. That might peeve people that could probably spend that much at a place like Outback, where you’ll get the food served. The difference is you’ll save on gratuity here. Overall this is a wonderful place to get that smoked backwood BBQ taste. Oh and included is a free all you can eat soft-serve ice cream. Will definitely add to our rotation of restaurants.

Overpriced, small portions and lacking in customer service. I figured we would come by to try it out but I was shocked with the small amount of food you get here. A three meat combo and a small side came out to almost $ 20. They didn’t say that the more needs, the less ounces. One meat is 6 oz but three meats is 3 oz. This wasn’t explained until after we got our food. On the flip side, the flavor was okay and the meat was not dry. The young lady doing table service was much more courteous than those in food prep and at the register. Josh stopped to check in on us at our table and he THOROUGHLY explained their menu and was so super nice, the bad experience turned into a positive one. Outstanding job, Josh! You redeemed your company.

Came here on a day when they were having an event. Got a free cookbook autographed by Mr. Dickey. The owner, RJ was much kinder to me than Mr. Dickey was. The food: we had pulled pork sandwiches they were okay a little dry but nothing that a bunch of delicious bbq sauce couldn’t cure. Macaroni was yummy & the coleslaw too. Free ice cream soft serve always here is a big bonus in my son’s opinion. That’s the reason for the fourth star. Kids eat free Sundays, so that’s when I’ll come here, otherwise it is a little too pricey for the portion sizes and quality.

The brisket is so dry — so, so dry — that it’d take an unhealthy amount of BBQ sauce to eat it with any level of comfort. This is not how brisket should be. It should be moist and needing no sauce except perhaps as a flavor enhancer. As an aside, I would rename the sauces to Sweet, Sweeter, and Spicy Sweet. They do, however, let you order by the ¼ pound($ 3.50) for any of the meats. Tack on a side for a pricey $ 2.50, and it won’t set you back too much. The green beans are a decent option. On the plus side, they have free soft-serve ice cream, which is still pretty meh.
