Went out there today as I am staying at the Marriott next door, and I like their sandwiches. When I entered the place a loud bell sounded(connected to door) and then… nothing. I heard laughter in the back, but no one came over to help me, not even after being two minutes in the store. It was completely empty, I was the only soul there. I guess they were too busy helping other customers… oh wait. They weren’t any! Franchise owner: you might want to instruct your staff to actually help one of the few customers that does come in. Worst Subway EVER! On the other hand, this gave me an opportunity to try the Panera next door. Delicious, and they actually had time to help me.

Last night my son ordered a basic build your own sub. Chicken strips, provolone, lettuce, tomato on the Italian Herbs and cheese bun. He had a severe food allergy reaction. I call to discuss possible causes. «Sorry, I no speak English.» I ask for a manager. No manager, nobody that speaks English. She’ll be here tomorrow. Today, still no English speakers, still no manager. I can see the corporate nutritional info, but that doesn’t enlighten me with regional variations. Did they bake their buns on the same cookie sheet that baked peanut butter cookies? This is all I want to know that can’t be found on a corporate website. I’m just looking for clarification… My email to Subway still remains unanswered. I just called corporate too. An English speaking employee would be refreshing… No, we will never darken their doors again.

I have been to several subways and most of them are cramped. This is one of the larger ones, quite spacious and some limited comfortable seating. The order they prepared was just to my liking and I would certainly return to this location.

So today(01÷28÷14) was the first time in months that I’ve been to a Subway. I figured since I had a $ 10 gift card, I would make the effort to utilize the gift card. So a couple colleagues and myself agreed that Subway would be okay for lunch. We arrived around 11:45am(we decided to go early so that we could beat any possible lunch time rush). I was quite surprised when I entered, to see that this Subway was bigger than some of the other Subway shops I’ve visited. Arriving at the time we did was perfect because the store was pretty empty. I ended up getting a foot long chicken teriyaki toasted on honey oat bread with the standard ingredients and their sweet onion sauce. My sandwich was good and the service was fine in my opinion, then again the store was empty, so I’m not sure how service would have been if there was a huge amount of people. In all honesty there just isn’t much to boast about when it comes to Subway because if you’ve been to one you’ve pretty much been to them all. All of them are pretty similar across the board with minor differences like: the store size, the attitude and comprehension skills of the workers, the cleanliness of the store, and the amount of people that attend. I would come back to this Subway again if I’m ever in the mood for a Subway sandwich.

I’ve been here twice in the last two weeks and both have been frustrating experiences. I asked for the«double chicken chopped salad» both times. They even have it featured on a little sign on top of their counter. Experience #1 — they are out of spinach(sad face) and I was asked if I wanted lettuce… ummm, what else was going to make it a «salad»? Experience #2 — the«chopped salad» wasn’t so I had to ask for it to be «chopped» as they were putting the lid on it. Isn’t the name self-explanatory? Sigh…if there is another Subway nearby, I’d give them a try before this location.(just sayin’) I’m glad the local Subway for me is SO much better than this location!
