Chaan Thai Yoga Massage

I was going to go grocery shopping at the organic market a few doors down and noticed the new Thai massage studio that had just opened. I went in to investigate and was greeted so warmly into the beautiful new space, I could not resist! Lim (from Bangkok), brought me a beautifully presented cup of green tea from Thailand and began with washing my feet while I sipped my tea. Other Thai spas typically charge for this, but is complimentary here… the hour doesn’t even begin until you change into the provided drawstring pants and t-​shirt, lay face down on a mat on the floor and the therapist enters the room. The massage was amazing! Lim was a skilled professional and applied the deep pressure I requested. My whole body tingled and felt like it was floating! The combination of tendon massage and stretch was exactly what I needed. He is so intuitive and can read your problem areas from the reflexology he does in the beginning with the foot bath. I had such an amazing experience I had to bring my mom… she has been in agonizing pain since November, unable to lift her arm above waist level. A chiropractor has been treating her, but to no avail (they are treating it as a «frozen shoulder»). I could not resist getting massaged myself after shoveling snow this past weekend, but let mom experience Lim for herself. We sat down for the foot bath and he looked at her and said, «you have pain in your shoulder.» I am very pleased to say that if Lim is booked, Jum was also excellent! I especially loved how she knelt on the back of my thighs as she massaged my back, it was like having two therapists at once! I left the room floating, enjoyed some more of the delicious green tea and then Lim came out. He told me he was more gentle on her this time since she was in so much pain, but next time he will really get into it. I am so happy to say, she can lift her arm all the way up, and even rotate in circles!!! In 60 minutes Lim was able to relieve her pain and restore her range of motion! This place truly is magical! The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming (brand new and clean too!!), the staff are so friendly and really make you feel special and pampered, and it is very clear that they are there for the sole purpose of bringing relief and pleasure for their patrons. We will be back… frequently!!!

Chaan Thai Yoga massage is very nice place to come and relax. They provide many kind of massage. (Thai, Anti Stress (Oil massage), Hot Stone, food Reflexology) For me, I like Thai massage. It’s deep pressure with a lot of stretching. Also, their massage therapists here are very professional.
