Just tried this place last week with a friend and am in love. The vibe is great. Really fun, vibrant and great for young professionals. We ended up only coming for drinks and had to wait a bit to get a seat at the bar, so I highly recommended coming early if you want a sit down dinner! The bartenders are more than friendly and accommodating, plus they are great at recommending beers you would like. I said I love wheat beer and my bartender simply said«I have the perfect brew for you» and got it instantly. I will definitely be coming here again!

Updated review: Well– After a few years of frequent patronage, my husband and I are saying bye-bye to Mikro. Tonight we had –for the third or fourth time in a row– a truly overpriced but terribly average tasting meal. My 18 dollar salmon burger with no fries(a side salad of lettuce and vinaigrette) was barely passable. His kale salad with chicken was so sparse on toppings, we counted one cauliflower floret. Please tell me why an apps that centers around the presence of bread– like the burrata– don’t even have more than four THIN three inch crostini? If you’re scratching your head at the pretentious-sound offerings that I’m describing from the menu, don’t feel bad. This overhyped craft beer hangout isn’t worth your hard earned paycheck. Sorry to say, but Mikro needs to read these reviews and make some big changes!

Good selection of beers, weird overpriced menu, community seating(no thanks). Small place with interesting décor that’s pretty loud and filled with Quinnipiac Students. It was OK once but unless I get a gift certificate as a Xmas present, I see no reason to return.

Always some issue coming here. Always some issue. It’s super close to where I work on and off so very easy to frequent if I were treated nicely. And I like the music. Walk in at 4 pm opening with no one there and take same seat I had Wednesday but am now told I can’t sit there. Instead I am corralled to somewhere I do not want to sit by a supposed GM. WTF?! I’m going to have a quick drink and salad and leave. There should be no issue where I want to sit. I told him my displeasure to no avail. Luckily he’s supposedly leaving. My visit earlier in the week included being greeted un-friendly by server who knows me for two years now. She’s only nice when I’m with a man. If this were not a convenient spot, I most definitely would not return. A neighborhood place should be warm, friendly and welcoming. Big city«it» places don’t even display this kind of behavior. Random thing… though I love Brussels Sprouts and am glad they are on the menu here now, The Whelk in Westport, told me last week they are off their menu as they are not in season. So what’s up with that Mikro — Authoritarian seating & off season foods??? New Thai place next door looks like a nice alternative to make a new neighborhood spot.

Have always loved this place!!! Came for Brunch on Sunday after my neighbors have been raving about it. The fact that the place was absolutely packed after being only open for 10 minutes just goes to show you how great the food and drinks are. Brunch was amazing. Came back for Dinner last night and had an amazing Pretzel appetizer, chicken sandwich and some great craft beers. After my two experiences there this past week, will definitely become a regular. Can’t wait to come back!
