Chicken is really good but the rolls that they gave us had fungus… yup fungus — but then this was one time only problem not enough to abandon this place for good but enough for me to take 2 points off of the rating… Will go again but will keep my eyes open for food that can potentially make me sick.

Typical take-out chicken shack, I guess, but their halal platters(chicken and lamb over rice) are very good and comparable to the halal carts of New York. I am very pleased that I have a place around the corner I can get this from and no longer have to trek into the city for it!

I really wanted something fried. Been craving it for a week now and I decided to give in on a Saturday. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which previous reviewers have raved about and some said were horrible. I waited about 20 mins and I had a few people in front of me and behind me waiting. I felt it was a long time for a place like this but was hoping it’ll be amazing since its being freshly made. Got my order and went home to eat. I’m only 10 mins away from this place so the food was still had and fresh when I started eating. The chicken was definitely not spicy. I added some of their hot sauce which helped a little. The crisp of the chicken was great. All in all I may come back to try their fried chicken but the spicy chicken sandwich I wouldn’t recommend. Even a fast food place has more spice than this sandwich.

Let me start off by saying this, I used to love this place for their Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo. I went today & ordered it for pick-up. ITWASDISGUSTING. They changed everything. It wasn’t even spicy– just a few lumpy/soggy pieces of chicken. When confronted, they got defensive & said to come back tomorrow with the food so the owner could do something about it. Now does that really make any sense? Needless to say, I won’t ever be coming back here again

Had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich here twice. It’s the best one I’ve tasted so far. If I’m in the area again, I will be back.

I walked in hungry and came out with one regret. I ate too fast! The order was lamb over rice and I couldn’t control myself because it was so good! I’ve already ordered another one so I’d have it for dinner lol but don’t take my word though. I reviewed restaurants maybe only two or three times so take what it is, but this gem compelled me to make one! Go there :)

The spicy chicken burger is my favorite item on the menu! It is absolutely delicious! An actually spicy and fried breast fillet of chicken between lettuce, tomatoes and buns, it never gets old! The cheeseburgers and fried chicken are good but nothing special. Also note they only take cash

It was late. We were hungry. Maywood market was closed… we had no choice. We came to ny fried chicken. Had some super greasy wings with french fries and some chicken halal. Wings were super greasy and placed from hottness into styrofoam container without a layer in between it. That made me sad, and is the biggest problem I had. Otherwise the wings, as I said, are a greasy, yummy mess! The halal was not the best ive had but it wasnt the worst either. I just wish they had given us pita bread with it. Ill def. Come back when im in the mood for deep friedness!

This is actually New York Fried Chicken. It’s basically the same thing as a Kennedy Fried Chicken. I wanted to pick up some chicken for a little get together, but I didn’t feel like Popeye’s or driving into Paterson. This was a good spot. Turns out I went to high school with the owner’s son. Called in a 30 piece order for pick up, arrived just as it was ready. Good homestyle fried chicken, just like Kennedy’s. But they do close earlier, at 11pm. Now i don’t have to go to Paterson or JC for this stuff.

C’mon the white meat is gray in color and its Kentucky Fried Cruelty… even the sides are weak.

Found out they close at 11pm due to the neighborhood not being very active at night.
