Ok great pizza, and great entrée’s. I had take out from here many times and had them cater a number of parties at my home. The owner is a great guy. He’s super accommodating and you always have tons of leftovers as they make sure no one goes home hungry. I love their eggplant parm, the chicken Francese the 6 ft Italian hero’s and the chicken cutlet style chicken fingers. You can’t go wrong with Angelina’s Italian continental style food. They have an eat in restaurant, take out and delivery.

Order delivery from here all the time, food is always fresh love the chicken parm hero and a crispy chicken wrap. Of course the pizza, mozzarella sticks and the fried raviolis are delicious too. They save your information which makes it really easy to order.

Let’s start with the SUPERRUDE guy that took my order. I should’ve gotten his name but it doesn’t matter. This man was the rudest man I’ve spoken to in a while. Wow. Delivery time — I placed the order around 11:30am. While the RUDE guy who took my order did explain it would about an hour, the food arrived at 12:50pm. And here I thought I was ordering early. Driver was super nice. Obviously not the guy who took my order –_– Food. It was just ok. However, the lobster bisque was horrible. It was very watery and just tasted weird. The grilled chicken Caesar salad — the chicken was so stiff and overcooked. Thankfully, the dressing was great and made the salad edible, and at least I won’t get food poisoning from undercooked chicken. Everybody said their food was just ok too. And nothing was missing. I made the decision to never order here again after I hung up the phone. We decided to try it out since they are always faxing their menu to my office, but now I know why I never try new things.

Worst place ever to order from. Rude customer service. I called in an order for delivery and the gentleman was already rude and I even tried to lighten up the mood and he was still rude! If u don’t like ur job find a new one! And then on top of that charges me 2.50 for delivery when I’m down the street an 8 $ sandwich turned out to be 12 $ I told the man I only had 10 he said well then we have to return the order or the driver will be short and I offered to give the man my bus fare because everyone needs there job and the man goes I thought u only had 10 $ … So I didn’t even bother paying for it and returned it. This guy definitely ruined my day and appetite never again!!! You need to be nicer to your customers mister!

Ordered while I was at work with my coworkers. Delivery was fine it was the food that was the problem. We all ordered boogers and they were absolutely burned. They were hard and black. The fries were very soggy. I also orders garlic nots, very disappointed.

I ordered a small shrimp caesar salad with my coworkers. I received the salad and it was a cheaply made salad in a tiny plastic container and it cost $ 6.99. I wouldn’t have paid more than $ 2 for this salad. My coworkers said they would never order a salad from here either after seeing how small it was. It looked like a salad that pizza restaurants just throw in for free when you order a pasta meal. HORRIBLEEE waste of money.

Very disappointed with the lunch we had today, the baked gnocchi we ordered had no meat in the meat sauce, the sauce resembled more of a ricotta creamy sauce and there was way too much mozzarella. Usually our go to pizza ordering place, I’m afraid this particular menu choice won’t be chosen again.

We ordered food from Angelina’s via GrubHub. The food was«ehh» and they charge $ 5 for delivery. They also called us back after we placed the order to tell us they were out of half of the food we ordered. Lastly, it took about 50 – 55 minutes for delivery on a Saturday night. Not impressed, and probably won’t order from them again.

I used to really love eating here, however the past few times I’ve gotten delivery it hasn’t been what it used to. The food doesn’t seem super fresh and they never bring the little extras that you ask for on the side.

I’ve been ordering from here since 2005. It used to be good, my roommate & I would get food from here at least once a week. Unfortunately however, over the years the quality has gone down… the pizza crust is not thin, and the cheese gets really greasy.

2 stars because of the following: I ordered from GrubHub at 11:09a. I gave a follow-up call minutes later to ask for crushed red pepper on the side and to ensure delivery by 12p because my co-workers are hourly employees and eat promptly at 12p. Instead, the man who picked up the phone told me they don’t deliver to my location, but will do so because he did not want to go through the hassle of canceling an order. As far as my crushed red pepper request, I’m positive there was sarcasm in his voice. It didn’t get here at 12p. I called at about 12:15p just to get a status, and he said to me, «You know, it’s kind of out of our way to get there. He left 5−10min ago.» This statement was false. Delivery arrived at 12:45p. The place is only 11min away(according to Google)! Really?(our office is in Englewood, according to GrubHub they deliver here, according to them they don’t — but their delivering radius is not my responsibility). An order placed at 11:09a… arriving at 12:45p? In the delivery guy’s defense — he was super nice and apologized — he had gotten lost. But I blame this on the manager. I would imagine that the manager trained him to call if he needed directions or was lost. To be honest, if it was just based on taste alone, I wouldn’t give their pizza more than 3 stars at best. We ordered a large pepperoni pie. The sauce was good, but there could have been more sauce and cheese. Crust was a little thick. It’s not in my nature to leave negative feedback like this, but I hope Angelina’s sees this comment and really takes responsibility over training their staff better and ensuring a quality food service. p. s. I hope Angelina’s doesn’t «filter» my comment like they did with their other 1 star comment.

After searching for someone to cater my daughter’ s Communion party, my sister recommended Angelina’s after having had lunch there. Without eating there myself, I decided to give them a call. After being extremely impressed with what you get for the money, I decided to book them on very short notice. On the day of the Communion, the food arrived right on time, and was set up by the delivery man with the provided trays and sternos. Everything I ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared and hot. The eggplant rolatini was especially delicious, as was the chicken francese. The price was well under any other caterer. I will definitely use them again for future events!

We’ve been ordering from here for a couple of years now, and we’ve been pretty happy with everything. We always get delivery, and the food comes pretty fast. If they’re super busy, the person answering the phone lets you know that your order may take a little while. I’m a big fan of their Meatball Parm, very tasty. Their pizza is good too, although I feel the saucy is a tiny bit sweet(I’m VERY picky about my sauce, so I’m biased). Their salads are yummy as well.

There are much better options as far as pizza and/or Italian fare goes in Hackensack. You can visit Brooklyn Pizza and Taste of Tuscany on River Rd., Policastro on Essex and House of Pizza on Main. The pizza is decent but not 5 star worthy. I’ve also had the chicken parm. A little bready but the marinara saved the day. I wasn’t planning on reviewing this place but when I saw the previous review I had to contribute something in order to strike a balance. Besides, how can you trust the review of someone that rates Mesa Grill 1 star purely on service at other people’s tables? I probably would never order anything again from Angelina’s because there are so many better options within 10 minutes of this restaurant. I’m sure if you did a little leg work, you’d find better options as well. It’s ok for Linden Ave…

For authentic, well-crafted Italian food, with a nice offering of American-style bar food, Angelina’s is likely the best option in Hackensack. The food is amazing and the prices are extremely competitive. The menu is expansive with options for most tastes. I order from this place frefequently; the take-out is fast and the ordering is accurate. They recently expanded, but I have yet to visit the dining room.
