I recently took the Mrs here to do some yarn and fabric shopping. The store is located in the small little shopping center as PetSmart, Ross and Rue21. This was our first visit to this location but we have been to other Jo-Ann’s before.
The workers were friendly enough and the store clean and organized. They have a great selection of fabrics and arts and crafts items. They have everything you could possible want relative to sewing, fabrics and arts and craft. The parking lot is big with a lot of spaces to pick from.
The pricing is expensive to very expensive. This goes for just about everything from the store from the fabrics, scissors to sewing supplies. I mean I could find some of the same stuff for half price what they are charging.
I would only shop here for hard to find/​specialty items. Keep in mind that you are going to be spending a lot unless the item is in clearance.

I’ve came here several times & never had a problem. However I went there this Saturday because the ad said they had fabric for 75% off. When I got there however everything was 70% off. I chose 7 fabrics & had them all cut and at checkout only three were apart of the sale. When I showed the cashier the ad she said that they were «selectively participating» but they had no signs suggesting so. And everything was marked 70% off. Frustrating. Poor marketing on their side. And not a very helpful staff.

The people are not friendly and really put off about everything. They never smile unless they personally know you from EVERY time I go there, so I stopped saying hello to them. Only go here if you’re in a jam becaus of low stock and unpleasant staff.

This store has great deals on yarn. They have a pretty good assortment of yarn as well. They have tons of fabric at very fair prices and the staff has always been very pleasant and helpful. I have been going here for almost 5 years and I would recommend it to my friends.

The store has become more of a five and dime store selling imported knick-​knacks, wall hanging, garden art and bird houses… Really! it may be the reason they have such a limited fabrics… yesterday when I was in to pick up some thread, I asked a employee to assist me since I was wearing a cast, granted I got her attention by saying excuse me while she was 8 – 10 feet from me. She made no attempt me assist me she continued to keep the distance between us while giving me directions. I truly was stunned, then she walked away leaving me standing there lost. Shame on them! I find this particular store to short on employees and service, they have a small collection of fabrics… really they xont even sell gauze… bad day there… most likely I will not return.

I stopped here because I need to find ripstop fabric, and I ended up buying 3 more things.
1. The fabric I wanted was for outdoor fabric, which is perfect for what I needed, instead of ripstop.
2. They’re 50% off.
3. The color was also perfect. They only have one of that kind!
The lady who was helping me was very helpful!
She called for help to ask question — aren’t they all now equipped with phones so they can do that?
She even pointed me the direction where one item I needed was located.
Negative: it’s a small store, don’t expect they carry tons of merchandise, so they only have a very limited items in stock.
I could have bought more of the same, if they have 1 – 2 more of the colors, but I’m just thrilled they have 3 of the items I went there to buy.

what i like a lot about this store is the crafty books. they send a 40% off one item coupon every 10 minutes, so i can always get a book at a great price. Also, the button selection cannot be beat.
