If based entirely on location, décor and ambiance this eatery deserves 4 or even 4.5 stars. But based on food; the main goal for coming to a restaurant, and I can’t help but only give this place 3 stars. It was quite busy yet the service was pretty good. The wait for a table was around 30 – 40 mins but they very nicely offered us the bar area. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor which gives a beautiful view of the city. The ambiance is modern and perfect for families and large groups. Now regarding food; The Truffled Pomme Frites were rich in flavor due to the cheese and truffle oil. The homemade fresh ketchup was excellent but the fries themselves very extremely soggy which made clusters and was not easy separating them. The Tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza was fresh as we actually saw it being baked in the oven; a nice touch to have the oven right in the bar area. Sadly the pizza was too thick and was burnt from below. The Grilled Lemon Chicken; the chicken itself was well done. Rich with flavors and not at all dry but the kale and couscous was badly made and didn’t blend well with the chicken. Moroccan lamb appetizer was my fav. The gravy was thick and creamy and it made for a good dip. Overall it’s a decent restaurant where one should only go for the ambiance and views but not if food is the main focus.

I had lunch/dinner here this afternoon. There is a limited menu from 3 – 5 pm… several pizzas and appetizer/snacks. It’s a great option if you want to skip the evening crowd and still eat somewhere nice. I had the Duck Duck Goat pizza. It sounded like the most unique pizza so I had to try it. It was so delicious! A must try! The sour cherry vinaigrette really makes this pizza stand out. Service was really great! My waiter was very attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I also got a good view of the Reedy River from my seat. I’ll definitely be back.

Really nice place with wonderful food! Would definitely go back again. Food arrived hot. It arrived quickly. Server was very attentive without being in your face. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it is rather noisy and not as sophisticated as it could be. I don’t mean snobby, I just mean nicer chairs and a cover on the table.

Food is always excellent, but the service is not consistent. The seafood paella is really good! You can’t beat that atmosphere — sitting outside beside the Reedy!

Great view inside and out, although we prefer the patio if weather permits. We can never pass up the Brussel Sprouts and Mussels! The specials have always been fantastic!

My boyfriend and I went here for restaurant week and loved our choice. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. We ordered the buffalo sandwich, the chicken salad wrap, the artichoke dip, and the parmesan fries. The fries and chicken wrap where definitely our favorites. The appetizer portions were admired larger than the sandwiches we received which was star age but it was all delicious!

Excellent«tapa’s with a twist». Locally owned and operated which is always a huge hit for me. Beautiful views of the river. Try the red sangria, it’s kind of one of my favorite drinks ever – light and refreshing.

I’m not one to hand out 5 star reviews, like pennies to a homeless guy, but this place earns it. Not only in atmosphere and view, but food and drink. Where to start… sit outside of you can, the patio over looks the river and has a great view of some of downtown Greenville. There are a couple different levels, and regardless of where you are seated, it’s a great seat. For a small plate. try the meat and cheese boards. They have a long list of pieces you can add to it. Great beer selection and staff VERY knowledgable about everything on the menus. The staff treats you like you are a regular, whether you are or not.

4.3 stars! this meditterenean place has great food. We tried lamb hummus, steak frites and even paella was great. Steak was a little dry though. Ambience was a little dark but nice feel.

Enjoyed lunch there today with friends. First of all, the views of the Reddy River and the riverwalk were wonderful. Watched several mallard ducks playing and diving for food all in unison. The setting is worth the price of the ticket so to speak. Had a wonderful piece of tuna, blackened perfectly, served over season veggies. Better half had one of the best«grilled cheese and tomato» sandwiches he has ever had. The bread is baked on site. While we did not have wine, the wine list looked excellent and unexpected in Greenville, SC. The French pressed coffee topped off one the nicest lunches in a while. Service was outstanding. On par with anything in hotlanta.

With music constantly skipping in the background and mediocre food, only the good water service and nice view on the patio saved the experience.

I’m from out of town and we got lost trying to find a restaurant we had originally planned to eat at. We ended up choosing this restaurant and I couldn’t of been any more happier! We started with the hummus and pita chips which was a great idea! My boyfriend chose the flank steak and I was recommended the chefs special which was a halibut on a bed of crab meat salad with a peach cream(which was amazing!!!) we also had the cheese and meat plate. The environment was perfect and our waitress couldn’t have been any sweeter. Will be back!

We got there on one rainy night! View is amazing, hostess was nice and very helpful. The menu is diverse, we ordered 3 different appetizers and they all were great, I got whole fish which was made to perfection and my husband had chicken which was ok, the only reason for 4 star. I would go back for sure :)

I would go for a 3.5. I came here due to Foodie Fest. They had an amazing option of two dishes for $ 20. I sat at the bar upon entrée and noticed a lot of waiters behind the bar but also noticed a very messy counter top. A lot of menus laying around for no reason. The waiter that introduced me to the menu was great at first but than he dissapeared for the remaining of my time there. I went outside for 5 minutes and when i came back, my starter was already waiting for me. I immediatly dug into my crispy brussels sprouts and they were to die for. Crispy prosciutto and mancho with deep fried sprouts. Unfortunately my entrée came half way through my starter. So i decided to finish quickly. The red snapper was nice and crispy but the vegetables and sauce were very bland. The views from the patio are amazkng especially when there’s live music across the creek. I would go again with company to have a dedicated waiter at a table but for now, i’m not concinced on the staff

Terrible service. We were served a substitute entrée because they ran out of the fish special and DIDNOT tell us. They just made a plate of over cooked tuba and served it without any explanation. HOW Does that even happen??? We were so embarrassed that we brought potential new Greenville business to this restaurant. To make it worse the manager(in jeans and a T-shirt) came by 55 minutes in to apologize that it was taking so long to get out food. The entire restaurant was empty due to a hail and rainstorm. Even more. I did not eat my entrée because my guest had to send her food back(not her order) so I asked to have it boxed up to go. It never came back. I will never bring clients back. Deeply embarrassed I thought your restaurant would impress.

We came here for a night cap after an awesome wedding. The restaurant looks really cool– you can tell they’re a favorite in the community. Art on the walls, friendly trendy vibe without the pretentiousness. We were glad they were open so late and enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. The red sangria hit the spot! We ordered a customized cheese plate(you check off the items you want on a paper menu). The cheese plate was delicious– this idea is really unique and gave us ideas for when we entertain guests at home. If we’re ever in town again we’ll try to visit!

I want to be a tapas bar but I don’t know what that means and neither does anyone else in Greenville so get over it and just Love me for who I am. Almost good enough bar to be a craft cocktail location but at least the wine selection is Huge. French press coffee doesn’t hurt either. Advice for you: Grab a meat and cheese plate and a glass of wine. Advice for them: Portions too big. Prices too high. Lower both and push parings and we could have something to work with and you would make more money.

I struggled over whether to give 5 stars, but only because it’s an awful high rating based on one event. However, there were five of us eating, and were universal in our praise. So there you go! This is a very pleasant place. There’s patio seating, which overlooks the river and walkways. There’s indoor seating in a relaxing atmosphere. And there is(relaxing) indoor seating that also overlooks the river and walkways. We had the last one. Our server was also very good — conversational, checked on us often, and was quite helpful with the menu, tapas method, and food suggestions. So that was all good, but the food itself sealed the deal. We started with about 6 or 7 small plates, which quickly came out one after the other. All were attractively presented, and all were excellent.(I’m not making this up.) I(and one other person) got the Even Lazier Paella, which comes with chicken and chorizo sausage. One person got the Pan Roasted Red Snapper. One person got the Mediterranean Spiced Chicken. And one person got the Black Pepper Fettuce. All the dishes were beautiful. And when we took our first bites, the three older adults all went, «Ohhhh, this is some of the best food I have ever tasted!»(The two younger adults liked it too, but were too cool to exclaim like we did.) Great dinner. I hope it is typical, and wasn’t just our lucky night.

I was really confused after arriving here. Based on what I read and had been told, I expected something much more down to earth and casual than what it was… could be my bad for misunderstanding. The service was slow, despite there being 6 – 7 people behind the bar(we were sitting at the bar). The small flatbread(sausage/onion) was pretty mediocre and generally everything was quite a bit more expensive than it should have been. 2 cocktails, 1 flatbread, and 3 oz of the cheap cheese ran us $ 50. Felt like a lot for what we got I would not go back here if I was in Greenville. Unfortunately this was only 1 of 2 restaurant experiences in town, but I sure hope there are better places to go than this.
