Throughly enjoyed the venue, the staff, the drinks AND the music. The Tim Williams band was absolutely phenomenal! Very reasonable prices and great ambience

Great ambiance and music. Do not go there for the food. Not good. Additionally, on the night we went, it wasn’t busy, but the service was extremely slow. Next time drinks and music only.

We’ve been to Blues Boulevard several times. The musical acts are always really good. Katy Free has been awesome tonight. It’s a jazz and blues club first, so of your looking for 5 star anything, keep going. That said, there’s no better venue for live music in Greenville. Go for the MUSIC. Go for the MUSIC. We have always had dinner prior to coming for the music, but the food looks good. There is a drink minimum($ 10 I think) on top of admission but it’s worth it.

Love it… First time was Saturday night… The band was excellent and very active with the audience… The acoustics was amazing… Food is upscale without the upscale price! Great wine selection! Will definitely be back!

Went for the first time last night — specifically to see Reggie Sullivan. The band’s performance was great, and very ‘personal’ due to the size of the room. The overall cleanliness of the place left something to be desired… There was a noticeable amount of dust on the piano and the hanging speakers, etc. The ladies’ room was in need of a thorough cleaning, and the toilet paper holder was broken. The floors throughout looked like they hadn’t been swept/vacuumed in a very long time. We were double-charged on the cover charge(we had bought tickets online), but it was promptly corrected when pointed out to our server. Service was good.

This is a very nice venue for live Jazz/Blues, etc. We went when Terence Young(from Columbia, SC) played. The bar and listening room are very nicely decorated and the lighting casts a very Jazz mood. The service was very attentive but did not interrupt our enjoyment of the music(very nice), and overall Mr. Mark Sullivan has done a great job at hospitality. Limited wine selection but plenty of cocktails and other drinks to choose from. The food was nothing to write home about, but was not bad by any stretch and ultimately we weren’t there for the food. We were there for the music and the food didn’t get in the way. It was a lovely evening. If you’re looking for more of a straight up dining experience, eat somewhere nearby and then come to Blues Boulevard for drinks, dessert, and live music. Weekend shows on Fri. and Sat. are at 8pm and 10pm RESERVEYOURSPOTBYPURCHASINGTICKETSONLINE, because seating is limited. We had to leave after the 8pm show, but we really wanted to stay. It’s a great place.

The only great thing about this place is the music. Cocktails are pretty low in alcohol, and we ran into an inconvenience where we asked for a Johnny walker black label and they had no problem in serving a red label, and if its not because we saw the issue and told the waiter they would have believed that we were dumb and not notice

Cool atmosphere and great music. But watch them pour your drink every time. Twice they very clearly watered down both tequila drinks and Hennessy XO drinks that we ordered(foolishly not at the bar). This is an impressive lack of respect for their customers, and I won’t be back because of it. The service was slow, but cheating your customers is inexcusable.

Blues Boulevard Jazz is a must when I visit Greenville. I absolutely love the location, the food is pretty good, and I’ve enjoyed every jazz musician/group that has performed.

This place is beautiful and in a wonderful location by the water! We enjoyed fantastic live music but did not eat. They have a full bar and Wednesday night is 50% off almost everything. My only gripe is that we had a flight of the 4 cabernets on their wine list and didn’t like any of them! This fabulous place deserves an equally fabulous wine list. Next time we’ll do jazz and martinis. What would be so bad about that anyway? I would return and try the food because it smelled so good in there. Also they advertise a jazz brunch on Sundays with bottomless bloody Marys or mimosas.

Blues Boulevard is a good addition to the Riverwalk area of Greenville. It is located on the river a few steps from the Hampton Inn. I liked the fact that the show began a little earlier than is typical which makes it a better week night entertainment option. We did not have dinner there but the drinks were good and from what I could see, the food coming out of the kitchen looked appealing. Best of all: they have a really nice sound system which is so important in a small venue. The volume level was balanced and comfortable.

We went in a Sunday for brunch and mimossa’s. For the buffets price and mimossas it was pricey. Jazz was decent a bit loud because it’s small.0ur waitress was young and not up to par for the job, just over her head for the three tables she had. We were overcharged by her for 6 people when we only had 5 and then auto gratted us 20%. The experience was not good for our first time. we will try it again but not on Sunday. It was just under managed and foundationless.

This place was«ok». It is nice that Greenville has a Jazz bar. I sat outside with some friends and just got a sprite. There was a band playing inside and admittedly I might have looked over when I walked in to go to the bathroom and they did charge me 7 or 8 dollars as an event fee.

Blues Boulevard Jazz is on it’s way to being a great little club. We were there for the 8pm show on Friday. They kept one of the patio doors open so people could sit outside and listen. Unfortunately that made the inside swelteringly hot. I’m not sure if this was on purpose(like the classic image of a jazz club, where everyone is drinking, sweating and listening to great music), but it was just too hot. We finally took our drinks outside, which was much more comfortable… although I will agree about the occasional sewer smell. The waitress said that it was the first night for a new chef. There was one item that she recommended NOT getting… saying«they should take that off the menu». The items we did get were ok, all off the tapas menu. Since there is a new chef, I will hold off on food judgement. All that said, the music was fun, the staff was friendly, and we had a good time.

The first time here and it’s great. This is the only place so far I’ve given 5 stars so far. Service, drinks, and music was great. I’m hard to please but this place has hit the to of my list.

Went here after the John Legend concert at the Peace Center, because the front desk clerk at the Hampton Inn & Suites gave us a coupon for a free glass of house wine, and we figured it’d be a good place for music lovers after the concert. Maybe John Legend might even drop in! Well, he didnt, but we did have a good time. The jazz trio that night was from Atlanta, and they were very good. The house wine not so much, so we bought a nice glass of wine. That and the $ 5 cover are the reasons I can’t give that 5th star. I would definitely go back without the coupon, so the marketing tactic was effective to get us introduced to the place.

The food is pretty good for a jazz club, and the drinks are good too(just keep in mind the specialty drinks are pretty expensive). The place isn’t very large, so I’d advise making a reservation. The act we saw was also pretty good, they played a long set too. The cover charge was also pretty reasonable.
