The Kava Konnection

This place is the real deal. I was new to Kava and was amazed at the effect. Great healthy alternative to a drink after work, for stress relief. Owner is great and knowledgable. Don’t be the guy that complains about the prices and then goes out and drops $ 60 on beers to get wasted.
The place could use some «warm touches» like local art and carpets. ;)

Just visited last night, and loved it! When it’s your first visit let them know and you will receive a kava low tide drink for free! I will warn you it’s a very earthy tasting drink (kid of like mud) but it’s still enjoyable. The guy working (who I believe is the owner) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions. It is a small family business so expect to get that «friendly» experience. As for the kava itself, I quite enjoyed it, I left there felling very relaxed and happier than I did before walking in. I would recommend this place even though the drinks can get expensive the whole atmosphere and benefits are worth it, I will be going back!

Everything about this place is awesome, from the cool kava drinks (for any first-​timers to the relaxing drink that is kava, you’ll be introduced to it upon ordering) to the atmosphere to the people. The owner is incredibly friendly and such a kind soul’ the people who hang out at the kava bar are also very friendly, and the spot is perfect for spending time alone or with friends if you’re looking for a laid-​back evening/​night. Not only do they offer mixed kava drinks (alcohol-​free), they also offer an assortment of kombucha on-​tap and many different teas. Don’t be afraid to ask about what the place offers or what each thing is, such as kava and kratom. The comfortable, stress-​free environment and delicious drinks (and snacks) make this spot a perfect place for a laid-​back time.

Haleluya… I absolutely love this brand NEW place in Greenville that offers a HEALTHY alternative to the «ol’ wind down with alcohol» strategy I’d usually do to get over a shitty stressful shift. I absolutely LOVE-​LOVE-​LOVE this heavenly concoction called KAVA JUICE that has proven to be both an efficacious and safe remedy for anxiolytic strain. It provides a peaceful somnolence without all the undesired effects that booze or wine have like headache or debilitation the next morning. I slept like a baby after stopping by. They also have Buchi Kombucha — which is like a very «healthy beer» made of fermented probiotic tea (they have 4 kinds and feature a sampling flight). Upon my discovery of a Kava Konnection business card, I had to seek it out. When I came in a couple days ago, I was informed that it had just opened a few weeks ago. As a newbie, I was handed a «low tide» sample of kava to get a taste of it. And, the owner, Gabriel, will gladly answer any questions you may have. The menu is exciting, and offers plenty of interesting concoctions to try, in addition to *on-​tap* local Buchi Kombucha!
This kava «bar» is open 5pm-​2am daily, which is great for us night-​owls who want to chill out without alcohol. And, soon, they will also be getting Wi-​Fi set up, which could mean a great new late-​night place to study!
