Always fresh and tasty. Very generous portions and kitchen will accommodate your requests. Recommend this establishment as it’s owned and managed by the best, kind-hearted folks.

This is a good restaurant that have plenty variety selection of sushi and appetizers. The environment is quite and cozy, love they have different kinds of soy sauce to choose from. The price is reasonable and the service is awesome.

Amazing tasting sushi, so fresh. Owner is very kind and I like sitting at sushi bar. Great staff. No complaints, can’t imagine it any better. My favorite is salmon sushi, and then the three rolls special. We really enjoy the eel sauce. Drinks taste great as well. I like this place much better that the place that has all you can eat. Quality over quantity. This is my new favorite place.

The food is great, best sushi in town! The owners are very kind and present in the restaurant! My family’s favorite Asian restaurant! We’ve been going for years and have yet to be disappointed.

MYFAVORITE sushi place in Greenville. These people used to own Tokyo and have THEBESTSOYSAUCE on the planet. It’s homemade and delicious. Whenever I take a trip to Greenville I make sure to stop here. The sushi is fresh and you get a great selection and it’s perfectly priced. THEBEST!

This is the best sushi in Greenville, which is not saying a lot, but it is the best place in town. Compared to Japan Inn, which is in same shopping center, it is far, far better. I believe this is owned by same people as Tokyo on Memorial and while it is basically the same menu, I prefer Shogun. That said, they charge $ 2 more than Tokyo for sashimi app, which is odd since they are both 9 pieces. Overall prices are reasonable compared to Wasabi 88, and a few other of the ‘high-end’ sushi places.

Decent food at a decent price. Didn’t try the sushi but the chicken teriyaki was good.

Came here twice, in June while visiting. As Seattle-area sushi regulars, we have pretty high standards. This restaurant exceeded our usual places near home. Wow! All fish was high-quality and very fresh. The Tatami Rooms would be great for a group. I know I’ll be back on my next trip!

A coworker and I stopped by for a quick lunch after we both realized we were craving sushi. There were many different specialty roll options, and even a lunch special option: 2 rolls for $ 8.99 that was hard not to order. I ended up getting the Rock shrimp roll and dynamite roll – both of which had 8 pieces. The rock shrimp roll was a little spicy, but the sauce was so good I couldn’t stop mopping up every last drop of it. The dynamite roll was full of seafood(crab meat was really all I could taste). The service was okay – our waitress seemed really adamant about telling us how her life and school was going which is okay… except when in the middle of trying to take our orders. My coworker disliked one of her sushi selections and they replaced it with no fuss and no extra charge. I think if I was craving quick sushi for a really good price, this would be the place! Otherwise, nothing super special, but decent food for good prices.

Sushimi was not bad. Roll’s did not taste very good. The service was good and the fish was good and not fishy. The place stunk a little like garbage.

Was here this past Thursday for dinner with the kids, food great. It was busy and service was slow but we understood for the most part. You could tell that some servers know what they are doing more than others. Don’t know our servers name Just that she had half her head shaved. I’ll keep in mind to ask to avoid her section next time we come in, just because it’s busy does mean you should give us attitude when we ask questions about the menu. Any one else have this issue? The other servers seemed to all have everything together. Maybe she’s new.

Everything I’ve ordered has been great. I usually do take out and it is always on time. The staff has a great attitude and is very helpful. There was one time that my take out tasted a little sour and I wasn’t sure about eating it. Since then I haven’t been back because that smell and taste has ruined it for me. Maybe one day I will try again.

Do not trust Unilocal,I got a call from Unilocal, asking to pay $ 300 for each month, and people will be able to see us first when they search Japanese restaurant in Greenville, otherwise they will delete all your good reviews! NP! You can still use your bad reviews! we lost at least 5 good reviews or more, just because we don’t pay a penny to this company! – from manager of shogungreenville.

Incredible!!! I was a former regular at another sushi establishment and tried Shogun for something different. I am now absolutely ruined and addicted to Shogun. You cannot go wrong with the American Dream roll and the Volcano roll. Great and very personable service and great prices considering the phenomenal quality of product. If you haven’t been you’re depriving yourself and must try.

Tried sashimi and sushi combo. Sashimi was fresh and overall portion was generous. Impressed by the way they serve tempura udon. Udon broth was flavorful especially with kimchee spice. It came with a big plate of assorted tempura which cooked to perfection. Hawaiian roll was good too. Will return.

My boyfriend and I try to go every Saturday for sushi. The quality in the ingredients they use are amazing. Staff is always friendly and attentive. We have tried a lot of stuff on their menu and there isn’t anything I have not liked yet. The Hawaii roll, volcano roll, sashimi Jo, beef tataki, and tempura avocado shrimp roll are our go tos. The salmon on salmon and Maria roll are amazing as well! Give them a try!
