Roaches, Wet carpets, smelly rooms, moldy shower curtains, and a price gouging owner. This place needs to be burned down and rebuit. If it wasn’t the only hotel room left in Greenville I would have burned it down myself.

We stayed at this establishment because it was the last hotel room in Greenville, NC available for East Carolina’s parents’ weekend. It says the hotel was built in 1974 but renovated in 2005. It really seems as if it was renovated last in 1974. I have never seen a hotel that was in such disrepair. We could not enter the room and went back to get new keys. It turned out the keys were fine but the device that you swipe your key into was bad and needed a lot of jiggling to open! The mattress was permanently indented and creaky. I looked for an outlet behind the bedside table and the molding on the wall was extremely dirty and paint chipping. There was another outlet in the room where it looked totally unsafe to plug in a cord. The phone in the room did not work so you could not call the office. The television did work but only displayed EVEN numbered channels. ?? There was one towel in the room and it was threadbare. There was an air conditioning unit which did work but drained right outside the front door and that area was full of mold. No shampoo was provided but there was soap. In general it looks very old and dirty. It desperately needs to be totally redone. The worst part of the experience was the price of the room was $ 100MORE than its normal rate due to the busy parents weekend… I would hope the owners of this place would take the profits they earned from it being booked fully for this weekend and apply the proceeds to a total renovation…

Awful! Non-Smoking room smells of smoke. Lacking ALL amenities. Couldn’t PAY me to stay here again! Weekly rates posted at the front desk. Questionably clientele.
