Ninja Hibachi Express

I was visiting Greenville for the first time for an interview at ECU. Coming from California, I’ve had my fair share of great hibachi and Asian cuisine. I stopped by this place on a whim based on a quick Unilocal search and was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great and our food came out within 5 – 10 minutes. For the amount and quality of food, the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the crack chicken, bulgogi, steak plate, side salad and a drink for $ 23. We asked for the food to be made extra spicy and it was! Overall, the quality, service and most importantly, the price, would lead me to highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing… Food was great especially the bulgogi wrap. The ambiance was neat, clean and upscale. Definitely worth the visit. Don’t let the name Ninja deter you from visiting.

Food was good and brought out promptly.
Prices reasonable.
Beer was inexpensive. But avoid the Bud Light Mixx Tail (awful).

I was surprised by this place. With a goofy name like Ninja Express I was expecting poor quality food on the cheap. The good news is their food is on the cheap but comparable in quality to the other hibachi chains in Greenville. For $ 2 their salads are a great deal and far superior to other hibachi salad offerings. I do wish they had a greater selection of sauces and allowed customer to access those sauces without requesting them from the counter. Hibachi Japan offers this and that is probably why until Ninja does the same I will likely frequent the other place. They could also stand to lower the volume of their poor choice of 90s hits. The other day I had to suffer through the theme song to Friends. What’s up with that?

I truly loved eating here. The service was friendly the food was fresh and if you are on Weight Watchers, you can find things here to eat. This will definitely be a restaurant that I frequent the next time that I am in Greenville North Carolina.

It’s not what you expect from the name. Never miss with the crack chicken. Perfect amount of spice and always delicious.

Inappropriate to pay first. Although i now understand why. Food was weak at best. Overcooked rubber chicken dish, mushy vegetables, horribly deep fried terriaki sticks and unlabeled items everywhere. Terribly disatisfying.

First and last time I’ll ever go here. The food didn’t taste bad, but my issue was the portions. I paid $ 10 for my drink and steak plate that came with fried rice and veggies. The steak portion was extremely disappointingly small. I have included a picture. For that much money a person should get more than 5 – 6 pieces of meat. Also part of my steak as still raw and was inedible.

This restaurant is Amazing. The steak bowl was incredible and the atmosphere was great. The employees are all very kind and will explain the menu if you need assistance. This is my new favorite hibachi place in Greenville! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fantastic food.

Ninja is a great surprise. I was not expecting it to be so good! I have tried several of the rice bowls, Hibachi, and sushi, and they all are very flavorful and artfully arranged. the pot stickers are tasty too. The prices are reasonable in comparison to other Japanese restaurants, and the staff is friend.

I just moved to Greenville this year and I was looking for a place to get quick sushi and Japanese food that wasn’t pre packaged. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious this place’s food is. I’ve now tried all of the sushi rolls and they’re wonderful. I haven’t tried any of the hibachi items yet, but that’s the plan for next time I go!

The food is great. I enjoy their hibachi and their sushi rolls are decent. I wish there was a bigger selection of items on the menu. Service is great inside or through the drive through. My only complaints are the relatively small selection of menu items, smaller than average portions compared to other hibachi joints and the small amount of sauce you are allowed before being charged per cup. On the plus side, the vegetables and fried rice are awesome!

Excellent food! Very fast service and huge portions for the price. Great lunch option for good food in a short amount of time! Will definitely be back!

I went here with my boyfriend who had already raved about how great it was. They have hibachi and sushi, as well as other asian cuisine. Being a sushi lover, I got the Goldsbro roll which had spicy crab, avocado, and cream cheese and was then lightly battered and deep fried. I’d never had sushi that was deep fried, so I was really curious. It was awesome. I don’t know what’s in the batter, but the combination of that and the cream cheese was a home run. My boyfriend got the new york strip steak hibachi which he had cooked like he liked it, which was medium. He let me try the steak and it was tender, juicy and very tasty. It is served with a white sauce that is thinner then most asian white sauces so it doesn’t overwhelm the steak and compliments it nicely. Go here and help keep this place around!

I decided to give ninja hibachi express a try and was shocked at how great it was. The menu is very simple but has everything you would expect from a hibachi express. On top of that, the drive thru is very convenient and fairly quick. The chicken and steak bowls are priced very well and have more flavor than some of the hibachi steakhouses I’ve eaten at. Anyone who drives by this place and are skeptical because of the outside appearance is missing on a great dining experience.

The best hibachi place in town by far. My new favorite sushi roll is their Sumo special rolls. Unbelievably good. A must try the staff is friendly and they have great customer service.

I have to say I was seriously surprised with the food at Ninja Hibachi Express! When I first saw this place, I immediately laughed and thought that a «drive-​thru» hibachi place was absolutely ridiculous. As a joke, my wife and I went there several nights back because we couldn’t decide where else to go. We had a back up idea, just in case. Well the joke was on us. The food was fantastic! It was authentic hibachi cuisine, without the show, handed to me through a window. We both ordered chicken teriyaki dinners and I ordered one of their signature sushi rolls. (Again, drive-​thru sushi seems so ridiculous) The chicken was cooked perfectly. The fried rice was great, as well as the vegetables served with it. The dinners came with white sauce and ginger sauce, both of which were excellent. The service was very pleasant and from what I saw on the other side of the drive-​thru window, the place inside looked nice. Another great bonus, the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be eating here again!
