Ate here a few weeks ago for the first time with my boyfriend. We were amazed at everything about this place! From the romantic atmosphere to the great service and absolutely delicious food we loved this little hidden gem of Greenville. Their pad Thai was amazing and they brought out a variety of hot sauces. The waitress warned with a pointed finger at one in particular that was«very hot.» Well, when most places say that then it’s not that hot but this WAS extremely spicy and delicious if you love spicy stuff which I do. I am so happy that we found this place and we loved it so much we reserved our Valentine’s Day dinner here. Go here people! You won’t regret it. Great wine selection too and they serve cold and hot saki!

I had jalapeño chicken. It was not spicy enough. Little disappointed about that as I ordered this because of its high spicy rating. But nice blend of curry and vegetables. Good atmosphere and decoration

Seven of us had dinner at Koi last night during restaurant week. All of us agreed the food was interesting, excellent flavor, good portion sizes and a good value. All of us would come back. But even in addition to the food, for those of you that like a dining experience, the décor is modern and clever. The different special shapes to the plates and utensils was a special treat. Service was good, not too noisy. All around one of the best meals around Greenville. The Blooming Eggplant was wonderful and my chicken curry had the most tender chicken I have ever had in a sauce that was just the right amount of spicy.

The remodeled décor is quite attractive, and service was very good on a Saturday evening. Spring rolls were fine, but unremarkable. My red curry was a disappointment though. The sauce was very thin– I had to add my rice to my bowl and eat with a spoon like a soup. Also, the vegetables were mostly cabbage and green beans in the curry, neither of which are listed on the menu for that dish. Didn’t find any bamboo shoots, peas, or basil as described in the menu. I wish they’d put less effort into the fancy garnishes and more on the dish itself.

Very impressed with Koi, the quality of food is phenomenal!!! Ordered several dishes from chef’s authentic Chinese cooking menu(had to specifically ask the waitress for it); minced pork with green beans, clay pot eggplant with tofu, and especially impressed the cold chili beef(Szechuan style Chinese dish, very spicy, liked it a lot). Also ordered salt and pepper calamari from the regular menu. Extremely happy with all the dishes ordered, taste amazing!!! The interior design of the restaurant is very artistic and has that upscale feeling; overall very pleased with the dinning experience.

It’s a pretty environment with delicious fresh food. They even have a pond outside with koi fish.

Wife and I had our date night here because we wanted to try something new. We are so glad we did! The décor was very well done. The food was also excellent. Great proportions, well presented and delicious. We will definitely be going back!

First time here last night. They did an absolute WONDERFUL job on decorating! The place is the most beautiful Thai restaurant I’ve been to here in Greenville! I ordered the Thai coconut soup, spring rolls, chicken fried rice, and the pad Thai. That Coconut Soup; I give this a 3 out of 10. Not as much of the coconut flavor as other places I have tried(I love coconut by the way). The chicken that was in the soup was maybe chopped and diced into the soup? Or if there was any at all, I’m not sure. I could barely tell. It was very watery as well. The soup over all was ok, I’ve had better. Spring rolls; 7 out of 10. It could have been much better if they would’ve just fried it a little longer. I forgot to take picture of this but it was very light! Could’ve been more golden crisp. Chicken fried rice; 9⁄10 — I thought this was pretty good… I did ask for no broccoli or carrots and leave the onions but I do not believe they left the onions like I asked. Cus my dish was very plain Jane! It was still good though, could’ve used some hot sauce! Shrimp Pad Thai; 8⁄10 — not too bad for it to come out not looking like pad Thai. The noodles were very white. As far as I know, pad Thai is suppose to have a little orange color to it. This didn’t.(Look at pic.) but the dish was very juicy and sweet. We asked for medium spicy. And got zero. Which that isn’t the problem. This dish was actually good over all. Maybe better than my fried rice! Lastly! The service. It wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t top notch. Felt like we could’ve gotten more time to look over the menu instead of being rushed… Other than that everything was fine, will be back again. Perhaps for a date night.

We have eaten here for dinner twice and the food is outstanding. The vegetables are perfectly cooked & not overdone. The spices are just right and the servers went out of their way to make our meal great! I am a true foodie… Greenville come out to support this hidden gem!

Ordered take out the first time and because the food was so good we came back to dine, not disappointed! Service was excellent, prices were fair, and the food was once again outstanding, highly recommend! It does lack the road frontage and I fear it may not last so definitely check this place out if you have the opportunity. The ambiance is second to none.

This beautifully laid out restaurant opened its doors a few months ago. Although the same spot has proven difficult for former ventures, the current tenants have wisely unleashed the restaurant’s full potential with inspiring Asian décor and elegant spaces. At first the food was very good. After our fourth visit, we decided we would never come back(Despite the $ 5 coupon they offer). — Drinks. They have a very limited selection of beers. — Appetizers. Good selection. Served elegantly in appropriately sized portions. — Food is best described in the words of Forrest Gump as being«like a box of chocolates… you never know what you’re gonna get»…even though I ordered the same dish three out of four visits(obviously the last being the deal breaker). — Service. Well, it makes you wonder if the servers know they work for tips. — Ambienance. Elegant and airy. Go there for Tea or Sake. Those two won’t disappoint you.

Well let’s start off telling you this restaurant is gorgeous. I love the stylish modern décor. The silverware is beautiful and the plates as well. We were immediately greeted with a smile. The waitress was amazing and upbeat. The food… Oh the food is spectacular!!! We will be going again! Wow! 5 star experience!

After my horrible experience with Dive N Boar(see my Unilocal review for them… drama!) I was a bit reluctant to get out there and try something new. However, my kitchen was empty, it was Friday, and why not! I had driven by Koi many times, why not give it a go? Before we got in the door we were impressed with the exterior pond/fountain area. Then, the interior design hits you as you go inside. Everything flows together so well, with lots of little touches that really make a good first impression. We had the spring rolls(light and refreshing!), dumplings(delicious), and coconut chicken soup(unique) before the spicy beef entrée. It was perfectly spiced, and all of the ingredients were very fresh tasting. I had jasmine tea with it which was also good. In addition, everything was well priced and appropriately portioned. If you find yourself in the area do try it!

What a delightful restaurant. The owners have done a fabulous job with the décor. It is warm and inviting. The service was prompt and attentive. Both of us ordered the Pad Thai because, for me, that is a good first time measure of a place’s food quality when comparing to similar eateries. It was a generous portion and very tasty. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning here regularly.

Koi Asian Bistro replaced Tuk Tuk Thai. Ambience — Very classy atmosphere and well designed interiors! Food — Food ordered was very good. Tried the Koi grilled chicken, well cooked with great flavor Service — We were a group of close to 20 people. Food came out quick. There were a couple of extra orders that came our way(which we did not order), but overall the service was fast and very courteous. Must mention the pleasant lady who described the dishes to us and coaxed one of our friends to break into a song :) Enjoyed the food, ambience and atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

Koi was a Pleasant surprise. This is a outstanding place to eat in my book. It’s a step above the rest of the Asian places in Greenville. Excellent service, outstanding food presentation. I had the beef & Broccoli, it was amazing and very fresh ingredients. Good place for a romantic dinner or and everyday place if your up for it.

Koi Asian Bistro definitely surprised me. The décor… The wait staff… The drinks… The food… Everything! It was all super fantastic. I frequent Greenville cuisine often and this tops them all. I have a new favorite restaurant! We started the night with a couple of drinks, a refreshingly crisp Pinot Grigio and an exotic Thai Basil Lemonade. Then came the food… First, the Eggplant Blossom appetizer tasted as amazing as it looked. Then the Volcano Beef and Hibachi Red Snapper came out shortly after that and let me tell you Oh Em Gee, it was absolutely delicious. As I was watching the Volcano Beef come out literally on fire I could also hear the sizzle of the Hibachi from a mile away. They were both scrumptious and they had me hooked on Koi right away. My server was well educated about everything they had to offer and gave me more insight on the delicious food I was devouring. Everything complemented each other and I just can’t wait for my next visit. I highly recommend that you all give this place a try. I took the time to write this review because my experience here was truly awesome.

We stopped by while they were still remodeling and found out when their soft opening was, so we were the first customers. The décor is fantastic. Great upscale vibe is great considering you don’t have to fight traffic to get here! We had the green curry and thin Singapore noodles. Everything was delicious and the lunch pricing is right on target.
