This is one of the favorite spots for me and my boyfriend whenever we come to Greenville. The wine tasting is excellent, and every time we are there the staff is so friendly. We came in on January 30th after having an incredibly difficult day with a car break-down. The staff cheered us up and even gave us coupons and discounts to other stores and restaurants in downtown. Jerky & Vine became our home away from home that day. I am pretty sure we re-visited 4 times because we felt comfortable and welcome there. Oh, not to mention the jerky is DELICIOUS and any other samples they have are always on par. We will certainly be back again soon. If you are planning a trip to Greenville you must stop in at Jerky & Vine!

Interesting store selling beef jerky, wine, hot sauces and other interesting specialty foods. As so some who enjoys salty snacks I decided to check it out. The proprietor of the shop was extremely helpful and shared lots of information and samples of his products being sold there. He seemed like a very knowledgable person who loves the trade of jerkys. On my visit I must have tried 6 – 8 different jerky. buffalo, spicy beef ones, sweet, they have them all! I was able to even try South African biltong. Seasoning and spice was different more of clove coriander. In the end. I went with a bag of Greenville jerky company teriyaki $ 10. They do have Ostrich, buffalo, salmon and other dried jerkys that you may adventure out towards. If eating dried salted animals(meat) is your liking then this is your place! Thanks for all the samples. Great stuff!

I can’t wait to come back here when I come back to Greenville. I had the best experience here! The wine tasting was only $ 3 when we went and my boyfriend and I did it and fell in love with almost all of them. They have blackberry wine and I bought both kinds… they were absolutely amazing. Amazing. The workers especially Eric and Kirsten were so helpful! They gave us us suggestions of which jerky to try because let’s face it I have no clue what makes good jerky. They have some crazy types of hot sauce and honey. I bought 4 – 5 bottles of wine because they were just that good and pretty inexpensive for a really good wine. The muscadine wine was amazing as well. Of course I bought like 4 – 5 bottles of wine because I couldn’t leave without them. The owners were extremely nice and the employees were such a great help in assisting us. Now that I think about it, I should have gotten more wine.

Haven’t been able to find Elk Jerky since we moved to SC from CO. Thought we’d take a look and guess what? They had two kinds. The owner let us taste samples to help us decide. He was very friendly and knowledgable.

How could this carnivorous girl resist going to a store that sells jerky? I certain could not. House of Jerky has some great dried meats that you can purchase. I was on a quest for stocking stuffers for my partner, who is always on a quest for eating interesting meats(which is possibly a man thing). I was quite surprised by the quantity and variety of jerky they had for sale. Not only do they have the traditional beef or turkey, but they also have pork, several types of fish(salmon and trout for sure), and even wild game(like venison, wild boar, buffalo, and sometimes even kangaroo!). Not only do they have different meats, but different flavor types as well(such as peppered, teriyaki, and a more traditional). They have gluten free varieties on many, for those people on restricted diets. If you like, an employee is usually willing to offer you a free sample to try. For those non-jerkians(my fancy new name for people who don’t eat jerky), they also have things like fruit jerky, artisan jams, local honey, and other local products. Their prices are, of course, higher than regular store-bought jerky. However, you get what you pay for — their quality is much higher. The employees are really great in helping to make suggestions for your loved ones. Love this place!
