I went to Dimitra because they had a large selection of bridal gowns, however their customer services leaves a lot to be desired. I made an appointment in March and they cancelled it without letting me know, and when I went back in May they wouldn’t tell me the designers of any of the dresses that I tried on. I couldn’t even send the dress I liked to my mom in NY. Found a great dress(which I had to stalk online to find the designer) but I will be purchasing it somewhere else — not giving them my money.

Let’s talk about Tuxedo rental guys, my son recently went to his High School Prom and we stopped at a few places. It was clear to us that we were in the right place when we met Miss Hope, Krystle and a few others that made it all about my son! The pricing was more than fair but the service is what made the experience amazing. They have earned a life long customer, thanks to everyone there

I did not know looking for my wedding dress was going to turn into a huge, time consuming ordeal. With that said, now that I have visited what feels like every shop within a 200 mile radius of Asheville(and in a couple other states!), I feel compelled to review shops I went to, since I clearly had no idea what I was getting into and my experience at each shop ranged from awful to fantastic. I was really, really excited for my appointment at this shop, because from looking online it seemed they had a lot of dresses in styles I had narrowed in on after trying on dresses at several stores. However, I was extremely disappointed that I even took the time to come to this shop. I arrived a little before my appointment and was asked to wait in their sitting area until they could find a consultant to help me. I sat there for about 20 minutes past my appointment time, while I watched MANY of the staff hanging around up at the front. I wasn’t really that peeved about it at the time, until I realized there was only about an hour left before they closed by the time we actually started my appointment. Even though through conversation I knew my consultant had been there for a long time, it seemed like it was her first day. I showed the consultant several pictures and style numbers of dresses I liked(several of them ones they advertised on their website…), but she brought me styles COMPLETELY opposite of what I had shown and described to her. I only ended up trying on 3 dresses during the time I was there, and I stood in the dressing room for what felt like forever between trying on each one as the consultant pulled a dress more opposite what I wanted than the last. I also thought it was odd that when I asked who made a particular dress I tried on, the consultant told me she didn’t know and that the store takes out the tags and assigns their own set of numbers to the dress. One other thing – the signs on the floors in front of the mirrors are obnoxious and not what I want to see when I look at myself in a dress. One sign reads, «The dress you want to think about tonight is the dress the girl yesterday was thinking about and is coming back today to buy»…or something like that. Thanks for the unnecessary pressure. Unless it is on sale, I was told the dresses would be there and could be ordered. I do have to say, though, my consultant was at least very friendly. What I was looking for and what she pulled just did not jive, and I did not enjoy the way the store approaches bridal sales and appointments.

I wasn’t expecting much from Dimitra Designs, boy was I wrong! First off, my family and I were running late. I called the salon to make sure it was okay to come in a bit late and was given the go ahead. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted by Jasmine. She told me we only had 30 minutes left for the appointment, as I was late. She was awesome about it and sure knew exactly what dresses to pull for such a short appointment! Jasmine listened to my wants/needs and even knew exactly how to style my hair for each dress I tried on. She never made me feel rushed or pressured and was extremely genuine in her attitude towards me and my family. I fell in love with the second dress she pulled for me. I decided to think about it as I had another appointment at a different salon later that day. Jasmine definitely set the bar, I had high expectations for the second salon. It was nothing like my experience with Jasmine! I ended up driving directly back to Dimitra designs and ordering my dress with Jasmine. Awesome customer service and awesome prices and selection! Jasmine is a gem!

Horrible doesn’t begin to explain the«service» at this store. If I could leave zero stars I would. They boast on being the biggest and best in Greenville but have been beyond a disaster for my entire bridal party to work with — local AND out of town girls. Almost every girl in my bridal party had an issue ordering — no confirmations of receiving or placing the order, being told they HAD to order larger sizes due to «measuring chart», inconsistent sizing despite measurements, store didn’t call to let us know when dresses were in, then didn’t ship those that paid for shipping for over 2 weeks. After several phone calls inquiring where my dresses were as they ensured me dresses were shipped I went into the store(as no dresses were received…) and the dress was still sitting in their back room… liars. When everyone finally received — several were drastically larger than necessary(some literally 2 – 5 sizes too large, as INSISTED by employees despite my girls questioning how they could possibly be such a size — knowing well that BM dresses run very small usually.) Some girls have over $ 100 in respective alterations costs that the store will do nothing about simply because they aren’t local customers, even though they admit there was an issue with my order due to their staff issues. Why boast on your process and«service» for out of town orders if you’re going to treat them like a «final sale»? I would have absolutely went elsewhere if I knew this place treats you so terrible after they get their money. I’m just beyond happy I didn’t get my bridal gown here! The store has fed me more excuses about their employee turnover, Dimitra being ill, etc… Barely returns phone calls. I’m so disgusted with this store and their absolute lack of service and respect and would HIGHLY suggest anyone to take their business elsewhere. Wedding planning is stressful enough… you do not need to deal with so much extra drama(aka several angry maids). My wedding is this weekend and I’m STILL dealing with a headache from this…

I went the week of Christmas and found the shop beautifully laid out, the staff attentive, and a lot of wonderful dress options. My mom and I were helped by Jasmine who was a fantastic listener. I didn’t have a lot of specific ideas, just a few vague notions of what I would like to try and she brought the perfect dress back to the room, plus several others that I loved so I could get an idea of what else might be out there. Everything she brought was well within my budget. Loved my experience, loved the selection, I would highly recommend making an appointment with them if you are wedding/formal shopping.

I am writing this review with regard to a massage I received at the spa at Dimitra Designs. The staff was highly accommodating to my needs. The spa treatments room has a shower in it that I was able to use. That came in handy because I came in after work, and I was a little dirty. The masseuse, Brandi was great, and very pleasant, and really listened to my needs before working her magic. I love massage, and Brandi’s technique was refreshing and definitely worked out my knots. The experience was less expensive than the pricey spa’s downtown, and I feel like I got everything I needed out of it. I recommend.

We shopped for a bridal dress on Black Friday. It was a busy day but Jessica Williams took her time ask questions about what we were looking for. Even though we didn’t find the dress on that visit she did her best to help.

The worst! Claim they are trying to model themselves after ‘say yes to the dress’ however they just come off rude, unhelpful and clearly out of their realm. They should stick with pageants. The bride literally left in tears from her first appt ever bc they were so rude!

Don’t go here. My fiancé went there and said the whole time that the sales rep would not listen to anything she said. Everytime that she said she did not want something they would bring those type dresses out. The rep acted the whole time she didn’t care and was very rude. DONTGOHERE

TERRIBLE customer service. A sales rep told me about having adequate inventory in a particular line and size range(which there wasnt), manager has not yet returned my calls, reps tried to order me a dress that had been discontinued for over a year.
