Belk

Worst customer service in Greenville. Made an attempt to purchase bedding products and could not even get assistance in taking several large items to check out. When I asked staff questions about location of certain products I was pointed in a general direction. I made several trips to the check out before I decided to go to Dillard’s. Service there was outstanding and I made over $ 1000.00 in purchases. I will cut up my Belk card and return it today. Have been a customer for many years. Never Again !

Since the mall seemed to be too large to see it all, I decided that I would just visit Belk. Guurrl! This store is crazy big and not the type of store you visit mid-​afternoon after you have been running around. This is that first thing in the morning big!
My husband and I immediately realized that this is a small city and that he should probably just take a seat, (poor thing, he was trying to hang in there). I parked him in a chair in the ladies department and started looking around at the bags and clothing. They always have very cute clothing for women that are both colorful and tasteful. They are in the process of their summer clearance and there are still many options available. I really wanted to look more but I was just exhausted and decided that I would have to cut my trip short. I went back to where I thought I had left my husband and could not find him. As I made the rounds and attempted to reach him by cell, I found him! Yes, he was still in that chair because there was no way he was going to attempt to walk around this store. As we left the store and walk past several stores, we noticed another opening for Belk. We realized that this store has two major openings into the mall and that is the definition of a large store!
This store is unique for a couple of reasons. I never think about buying shoes or bags at Belk because they don’t carry the brands I prefer and the shoes are ofter vinyl. Well, this store had way more options and the bag department was triple the size of my local store. Also, they even have a fur salon. Why? Does it even get cold enough for fur?
Anyway, this store was the bomb and I am going to have to go back and try again. This time I will leave the hubby at home so that he is not overwhelmed. Ladies if you love to shop and you love your nice leather products, this is the place to be.

It was my first visit to the Belk store, didn’t really buy anything, but it was interested to see what type of products they are selling. Good place to go shop at compared to other big name stores like Macy’s and Dillard’s. Too bad that they don’t have any stores in West Coast states.

I had such outstanding service! Sadly, the item I had purchased online was no longer available and in stock, I emailed customer service and they emailed me a list of stores that carried my item. I called the store that was closest to my state (California) but they did not answer ANY line! I decided to start from the top of the list which was the store first. Immediately somebody picked up, Dawn– an amazing such helpful woman that went through hoops to help me through out the day. Her wonderful manager fulfilled my needs and granted me the item (Michael Khors watch) for the price I had originally gotten online– which is fair since I had boughten the item when there was three left in stock… then three days later I received an email that notified me my order was canceled due to their inventory error they seem to always have.(online and warehouse inventory are never in cahoots). Since I live in California my bank had declined the few attempts of them trying to charge my card because they thought I was being falsely charged. I had to call my bank and then call belk back and forth and Dawn was just so damn nice!!! Never once got frustrated, never once failed to call me back… She is just so outstanding! I thank her and her manager for making my life much easier this holiday season!!!

Nicer Belk store– not SouthPark level but better than the Belks of yesteryear.
