Baymont Inn And Suites Greenville

Not a good hotel. At. All!
We were scheduled to stay at the Baymont in Greenville, NC for a weekend. I always check the beds and bathrooms before we unpack. So I checked the first bed and stripped it down and it was decent and it had the mattress cover on it. Then, i checked the next bed… I stripped it down and under the mattress cover was a folded up sheet, stained the color of pee! I went to the front desk and told the man on duty but he didn’t seem very concerned about it, saying he wasn’t in charge of the house keeping and all he could do was lower the rate $ 5! I agreed to change rooms but it turned out that room was just as bad. There was hair in the bedding and mold on the walls and ceiling. I would NEVER recommend that hotel to anyone!!! Cheap isn’t always better!

Filthy and Smells Like Smoke —
Stayed here for one night going through town on a trip and would never stay here again. The linens and pillows had nasty stains all over them and smelled like smoke. Bath towels were stained and smelled as well. Bathtub wall joint with tub was all moldy and nasty. The closet wall panel was missing so there was a huge hole in the wall with insulation exposed. Entrance into rooms from outside like motel so something to consider. Refrigerator was nasty and smelled like fish. The overall experience was pretty nasty. Definitely do not recommend this hotel. There’s plenty of other hotels in the area. Greenville is a decent town, just steer clear of the Baymont Inn.

We arrived Thanksgiving afternoon, having made a reservation via Expedia. However, Expedia had reserved it for the 19^th (Monday), and the young lady was not very helpful. We did get a room however, and it was clean and very comfortable, (no bedbugs!). There was a little noise outside around 4am, but overall we were very satisfied with the room and cost. The breakfast is average for the cost, but we will stay there again when in Greenville.

Hotwire failed on this one!
Woke up the kids for an early departure and found little red bugs on the sheets, running for cover. I smashed one and they were blood filled… Gross! Bedbugs!!!
Went to complain on check-​out and all the clerk said was ‘oh, we usually have those treated.’ He then offered me 10% off my next stay. No thank you!!!
