George’s Pizza and Grille

I am very dissapointed in this restaurant! I ordered from this place because my Wife, Son, and I are down for a couple of days in the Holiday Inn. I order a large Meat Lovers. It says it has Ham, Beef, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, and Extra Cheese. I wanted bacon instead of ham. I got my pizza and when I opened the box There was Canadian Bacon not pork bacon. I called and questioned where the bacon was and I was told that they dont use pork products in their restaurant. Im sry but I wanted pork bacon. I will never order from here again! It says bacon on their menu in the list of toppings not canadian bacon. If your looking for real pizza and want real toppings then find a different pizza place. If you want turkey products then by all means order here but this AMERICAN likes his pork products and will continue to eat them!
Oh and NO where on their menu does it say we use turkey products not pork product. This is false advertisement!

Humus tastes like feet. Chips are in a bag and not made. Food is greesy and only mildly edible. I do not recommend this place at all. Save you money for somewhere else.

Pizza is mediocre if you just get cheese-​the meat & veggies on their pizzas tastes like they come out of cans. Their customer service isn’t too great either…

Best lasagna!
For past 20+ years of ordering here, is still my favorite lasagna! Friendly service and always fresh food– recommended for sure.

I am staying at the Marriott and tried the online delivery. Worked great. Delivery in good amount of time. Delivery person was friendly. Food was hot and delicious.

Convenient to the Marriott Airport so we tried it. Was quite good. Just had a simple half cheese half pepperoni. Kids and adults enjoyed it and devoured the $ 9.99 large. Good taste and good value. Would eat there again if in the area and looking for a quick easy meal.

This was our first time trying George’s out! We received a menu in our mailbox and decided to give it a try — delivery to Summerfield. Delivery was very quick. I got the Chicken and Spinach Stromboli, which is massive. It must weight 2lbs. It’s filled with chicken, spinach and cheese. It was pretty good — a little plain though. My wife got the steak and cheese pita. She said it was good, but there wasn’t a lot of cheese on it. It came with 2 sides. She got Hummus and small Greek salad. The salad was huge! We thought the hummus would come with pita chips, but we were wrong! What are you going to do with just hummus? The portion between the 2 sides was way off! We also got 10 hot wings. They were pretty generous size and hot. Overall, it was a good first experience. Next time we’ll try their pizza!

Good food not great 5 star food. George’s is a really good fast bite type of place. It is in corner end so it might be hard to miss depending on which entrance you are coming from. The inside, not exactly the nicest place to eat. The boyfriend and I got two sandwiches, steak and cheese, and the chicken parmesan sub. Both are to die for! The steak and cheese is hot, and cooked to perfection. Chicken sub tastes like a pasta dish off of Olive Garden wrapped up in bread, again, super hot and filled with marinara sauce! Bf and I both thought the steak sandwich lacked tomatoes. It was almost a foot long in length, but it only had like 3 small tomato slices. We called 10 mins in advance and it was ready when we got there, then again it did not look like they had much business at 8:30pm.

Ordered food from these guys through Grub Hub. After waiting an hour and 15 mins for my order, I went to call to check the status and found out they were closed. I looked on the Grub Hub «Ask us a Question» section and saw a notice saying that my order had been cancelled! Called Grub Hub to find out why and they said the merchant had tried to deliver the food but no one was there. I was sitting downstairs in front of the door with the wooden door open and the porch light was on! They also said they tried to call me, but that was also a lie because I had my phone sitting right next to me the entire time!
Poor service and worse follow through! I’ll never order from these guys again!!!

We have ordered from here twice. The pizza is excellent, they are very generous with their fresh toppings and the cheese is high quality. I would not recommend the wings though they were soggy.

I have driven and walked past George’s pizza and am sad to say I never had heard of them. I recently moved out to Oak Ridge and my friend moved to Greensboro near George’s. One weekend we decided to order a veggie pizza with the hand tossed crust. I called the order in and the man was very helpful and friendly. When my friend picked it up and brought it over, I was pleasantly surprised at how great it looked! The vegetables are fresh! A lot of places will use canned mushrooms, not George’s. The cheese, it is out of this world! You know when you see commercials where the cheese is gooey and long but yet you probably never have had that kind of cheese in real life? Yup, they have that awesome cheese! My friend and I ate the whole pizza and both could not believe how great it was.
The next night we were so impressed we decided to order it again. A girl took the order this time and she seemed a bit rushed. I will admit the pizza was a bit overcooked to my liking. However, after know how great their pizza is, I ordered it tonight and asked that it not be overcooked. Sure enough, and friendly as usual, they made the pizza to perfection! Three people shared it and we all commented on how great it tasted.
As far as leftovers, when I order a pizza large enough to keep leftovers, I will let you know. Right now I order a medium and it is perfect for two adults and a kid.
I am glad I have tried their pizza. I consider myself rather picky and from here on out, I am going to order my pizza from George’s. It is that good and the people working there are so friendly! That goes a long way with me. Give them a try; I don’t think you will regret it. You might get addicted though, so be careful!

Average. This place is right next to where I live so I had to try it. It took them around 30 minutes to deliver a Cheese steak sub and garlic knot. Price was okay for the amount of food but not really for the quality.
Seasoning needs work. G knot was under baked. Just okay.

Perhaps the best margherta pizza we’ve ever had!

Consistent quality and quantity of food. Good for an alternative to fast food places. Guys who work there are friendly and helpful.

Georges has great service fast and easy. Great food and delivery is awesome. Great job guys

Seriously? A step above Papa John’s/ Domino’s, etc.
