Stopped in this morning on my way up the coast, we stopped in for car candy. I asked the owner Kathryn for some dark chocolate fudge and her reply was ’ how do you know about that’ as I said in my last review it was a local favorite, I reminded her she let me sample it a few weeks ago, then she informed me she was out of it… hmmmm… she wasn’t very small town friendly to me or my little one. I was really surprised by her reaction and rudeness. I doubt we will stop their again for any of our car candy needs in the future.

This place has some great fudge! I went in with a friend and came out with fudge of various favors. I liked the peanut butter and the dark chocolate. It was enough for a snack or just to have as a family treat. The service is friendly and they give free samples. I liked it so much I came back to take some for the trip back. This is a place to try when you are in Gold Beach.
