Always consistent and hits the spot :) fresh, quality, and always quick I always get a gyro plate with the pita on the side with a side order of falafel! It’s a fret place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. The staff at this location are always friendly and love the fresh falafel sample every time :) I usually score 30 min parking but sometimes you do have to wait for a spot during peak hours

I went here a couple of months ago and was very impressed with the quality, price, and speed of service. I went back again around 5 in the evening to grab dinner and wound up incredibly disappointed. The food on the steam tables looked to me to have been sitting around since lunch time, and it tasted that way too. Service was prompt but definitely not pleasant. I love Greek food, but I do not think I will be back here.

This is probably one of the dirtiest locations of Garbanzo that I have been to. The carpet and concrete floor have rice, napkins, and other pieces of food all over the floor. For about half of the time I was sitting here eating, the four workers were all hanging out in back. It seems that instead of just doing whatever in back when customers are not entering the place, they may want to clean tables off and sweep/vacuum the floor. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would have left and gotten my food to go.

Garbanzo constantly delivers. I was anticipating a falafel sample upon arrival, but wasn’t offered one. I quickly realized that they were training some new individuals and pretty tied up with the orders ahead of me, so I didn’t mind. For the most part, I always get the Falafel Plate. Food to value ratio on this is excellent! More than enough to split with your significant other. As good as a Pepsi would’ve been with our order, the soda machine was down. Luckily they had their iced tea brewed and ready to pour. None of that bagged iced tea either, always a plus. Anyway, nothing too different from their other locations. The parking can be a pain as the location also houses a Panera and Café Rio. Happy eating~!

Good food, big portions, fresh produce, decent price. They could give you more(meat) though.

Went to Garbanzos tonight and thought that I would give them 1 more chance before I never return again. The food was DISGUSTING!!! The steak was served absolutely burnt to a crisp… Hard like rocks and actually cold. The rice was old/crunchy and also served cold. I literally threw it all in the trash without eating it and when I called to complain to the«manager» Brian– he actually hung up on me. He should either figure out how to run a better restaurant, or get a job that doesn’t deal with the public. The last time I ate Garbanzo’s. I actually got sick… And I thought it might have been coincidence. But after tonight… I know that it was definitely because they do not adhere to correct temperature settings for food and its stunning that they are not shut down. Incidentally, the 1 star is only because Unilocal doesn’t allow 0 stars.

I just started a new job right by this location and finlly couldn’t resist the temptation to pay it a visit on my lunch break! It’s a little overwhelming if you have never been before, but much like its«Mexican» counterpart, Chipotle, they walk you through each step and make your meal right in front of you. I originally ordered a chicken kabob plate, but they said it would be about 6 – 8 minutes, so I just went with regular falafel. It was so good! I think it might be the best I have had. It also is a pretty decent serving size, so it probably could have been another meal, had I felt like carrying it around with me. There’s a lot of seating, and the space is pretty accessible, but what blew my mind(you’ll probably be seeing a lot of this cultural shock in my reviews, being a jaded New Englander) was how NICE the staff is! Even though it was the middle of the lunch rush, there was someone who was bussing tables, but also asking everyone how they were doing and if they needed anything. As I was leaving, 2 or 3 different people helped me get through and held the door for me and said«You have a lovely day ma’am, we hope to see you again!» My response: Oh you definitely will! I can’t wait to have lunch here again– it is going to be my new Chipotle for sure!

Don’t think I’ll be returning. After paying for my order I noticed a «2% public improvement fee» Cashier would not remove this charge. I don’t understand why this business can’t price their products honestly. Raise your prices 2% if that’s what you want to do but sureptitously tack on fees at the end. To make matters worse… The gyro was very dry and had almost no meat. Didn’t care much for the hummus or vegetable salad either.

It is like Subway except for Mediterranean food. the food seems fresh though the chicken seem too greasy. The people working there were nice. Tasted like store bought hummus and very Americanized, not authentic tasting Mediterranean food.

My husband and I came here for a quick lunch. The staff was astounding. Xavier was genuinely kind and Francesca is AMAZING! The computer broke down and it took a while for us to pay for our food. Francesca didn’t let us pay for our food due to the delay. They made our day. My husband decided to pay for the next person in line though. :) I would DEFINITELYCOMEBACK due to the food and service!!!

Eat at this establishment at your own risk as I did and broke a tooth on an olive pit hidden in my lettuce. $ 3000 dental bill and their insurance company denies any negligence on their part. I’m definitely spreading the word about their lack of QC and lost me as a customer! Also the level of service at their Highlands location is poor with attitude!

The food here is beautiful, fresh, and tasty. This place would have received the elusive fifth star had it not been for the dirty tables. They were busy and I guess they didn’t have the extra«manpower.» The wait staff is friendly and who doesn’t like a free falafel while you mosey down the line. Yes, there are a lot of calories in the food, but that’s just because you get a generous portion. Take half the food home for lunch the next day and what you’re left with is a healthy, delicious meal anyone from the Mediterranean area would give a thumbs up to.

As always, delicious! I always get the chicken falarma plate with lots of sauces for the top. A bit of a disappointment is that they did not offer me a falafel when I walked in, as they generally do.(They didnt to the people in front of me either). Otherwise, very good!

I love Garbanzo’s and tend to go to the one that’s close to me a little further down on S. Colorado. Mine has a lot of flaws that this one does not. This one always has ample amounts of pita(both wheat and white) available even later on in the evening. It has really good hours and stays open until 10pm. This one has pretty friendly staff, though sometimes they can be a little on the slow side. I only wish that this one could help out mine a little more and/or move down Colorado a little!

Love Garbanzo. Salads are excellent and this location always has good service. Parking is tough during the lunch rush.

The customer service is absurdly good. Seriously — it’s WAY above and beyond what I would expect for any fast food restaurant. Everyone who worked there seemed genuinely pleased to serve and assist everyone who came in the door. All questions were answered well and courteously. Samples of falafel were offered to everyone who got to the counter. The food is good too. It’s a good value for the price. But the reason for the five star review is the customer service. It was beyond exemplary.

A lot of Unilocaler’s have labeled this Mediterranean Grill as a «healthier Chipotle,» I’m not so sure about that. I ordered a plate with half chicken/half beef as the protein, lettuce, pickles, hummus, babaganoush, pepperoncini, vegetable salad, and a bit of tzaziki sauce to top it off. It also came with pita bread of your choice(I chose wheat). I looked at their nutrition info and calculated this to be around 800 calories, which is a lot more than my typical meal at Chipotle. However, it was a ton a food, and I did have some left overs that I ate as a snack in the afternoon. The quality of the food was pretty good, I wasn’t ecstatic about it, but definitely no complaints either. The staff was very friendly; they offered everybody a free sample of falafel. As an added bonus, they had a really cool touch screen soda machine. I’d go back, but only after I get bored of Chipotle again.

I’m originally from the Mediterranean, so I’m usually quite picky about Mediterranean restaurants. The first time I ate at Garbanzo’s(on vacation to Denver) I was surprised to find out it was a chain. Since moving here I have frequented this Colorado Blvd. location a few times. Parking out front is iffy but I’ve always been lucky to find that last spot. I understand there is a garage around back but I’ve never had to use it. The place is always clean and staff is always friendly and cheerful. I’ve never had a long wait either and there is plenty of seating. The food is always spot on. Everything is fresh and delicious. They usually offer a Falafel sample, which is spiced right on, just like it’s made back home. I always say yes, even though I’m going to order some(he he). Lately I’ve ordere the beef kabobs. They are delicious. The meat is always tender and flavorful, skewered with onion, pepper and tomato and grilled to pefection. It’s served with Rice, Vegetable salad and Humus. I have them add Tahini sauce. They offer you a choice of white or wheat pita. These are actual Middle Eastern pitas, as opposed to Greek you get with gyros. Greek pitas are a flat, spongy bread, like a round slice of white bread. Real middle eastern pitas have a different texture, a sof crust all around and a pocket in the middle from puffing up when they’re baked. These are the latter, and they’re soft and yummy. I always clean my plate here. Their food is like home cooking for me, and it’s fresh, flavorful and fairly priced. Give them a shot, I think you’ll enjoy it.

I enjoy Garbanzo a lot. They usually offer you a sample of falafel when you enter(today they didn’t) and are helpful in explaining the menu to newcomers. The food is tasty and prepared well, the ingredients are good for you, and you leave with a pleasant fullness(but not an overloaded feeling) in your belly. I usually order the chicken shwarma with falafel(falarma) on a plate with my whole wheat pita on the side. The hummus is good, but I think they tend to over-serve it sometimes. I get the rice, red onions and red cabbage, with garlic sauce, tahini, and cilantro sauce. The rice is seasoned and cooked very well. One great thing to note is that every time you visit, your receipt has an invitation for a phone survey, and if you take the three minutes to punch in a few numbers, you get a free side of falafel with your next order. It’s a pretty good deal. I also like that they have a rewards program where buying so many meals(I don’t know exactly how many) gets you a freebie. It’s something that other restaurants should try(I’m talking to you, Chipotle). All told, it’s a tasty and big meal at a really affordable price. Not everyone likes Mediterranean food, I know, but if you do or if you’re on the fence, give Garbanzo a try.

Over the summer, Garbanzo was slinging their delicious bites at a few Yoga Rocks the Park events that I attended and I knew I had to go check them out some day. Well, some day arrived a few nights ago and the BF and I headed over to the closest location. Immediately upon entering, one of the guys behind the counter offered us a falafel. Yes.Please. Damn, those things are great! But what to have for an entrée? The BF went with a stuffed pita and I opted for the lamb gyro. Having already tried the falafels, I knew I needed to try the stuffed grape leaves as well. Everything was oh so good! My taste buds were so happy with the tender lamb and beef as well as the delicious sauces provided. The BF’s stuffed pita was super tasty, too. The smoky grill on the chicken was perfect! And for only about $ 7 a pita/gyro/bowl? Dear god, why haven’t I been stopping here more often? Friendly service, easy on the pocket book, and super tasty bites! While it may take me a while to get back to the Mediterranean, don’t mind me while I lounge in the Colorado sun and snack on falafels and stuffed grape leaves in the meantime. Garbanzo, I think I’m in love!
