This place is badass! I needed a STRONG cup of joe to keep me going one night, I had heard a few good(and a few bad) things about this spot so I decided to stop in. I had to wait a few minutes for the guy to come into the store to take my order but I didn’t mind. I simply said«I need something strong» I ended up with something called Brain Stew. It was awesome and awesome is an understatement. Great coffee and I could tell that they don’t mess around when it comes to brewing beans right! Needless to say I am going back in tonight on my way to work. And this time I’m getting a cookie! wrote this review and never posted it. why? no clue. so sad this place closed down closed closed closed :(

C plus/End of the World has great, solid coffee drinks. I dont live in LA anymore but figured why not buy a Unilocal deal since I would be in glendale that day which was was months ago at this point. I showed up around 2ish and it wasnt open or someone was on a break– cant really remember the details but by the time the barista came back from wherever, he seemed annoyed. Personally, I have mixed feeling about this place. I kind of like that they arent really foofy and over-the-top service with a smile but just be prepared for monotone customer service. I do however feel this spot would be much more alive and a totally different experience in the later hours. On the bright side, my coffee was really good. I ordered an au lait, a latte and an iced chai for my friend. My au lait and single latte were both great.

No one ever came out despite the sign saying he/she«could see me» on camera and would be at my table as soon as the«song playing was over.» Well, I waited for two songs to finish before I left, maybe I would have waited a little longer if I weren’t in a hurry to get somewhere else. Maybe I saved myself from a not so great latte. I’ll never know because I will probably never stop there again. It’s a sketchy looking hole in the wall next to a bunch of car dealerships in Glendale. That should be called. C Minus

There’s no place I’d rather be to experience The End Of The World, literally, they have a drink called The End Of The World which is the cinnamon infused coffee drink that ancient Mayan royalty sipped tenderly with their moon pies as they weeped gentle tears of gratification. I personally wouldn’t recommend bringing a laptop for the sole reason that the owners, Kat and Charles are wonderful conversation. That is correct Internet people, I bring forth a craft coffee house where people actually indulge themselves with witty banter and personal interactions instead of hiding behind their computers and phones. Although the location is a little out of the way the Glendale Galleria, many people see going to C-Plus as a life changing pilgrimage where behind the threshold lies quality only thought to be found in times of old. It’s also open 24 hours which is always a plus… A C-Plus, so if you want glorious coffee, a hangout spot for friends AND a punk rock theme, come experience The End Of The World with me, see you on the other side… Of the door the door that is

I just found this place tonight. I’ve been looking for a 24 hour coffee shop since I left the Seattle area about a month ago. Walking into C+ made me feel like a small peice of the Pacific Northwest followed me up. In Washington, there a ton of these little indie coffee shops which I miss like crazy. Starbucks is okay but doesn’t really do it for me. At any rate, we walked in and there wasn’t anyone there so we rang the bell and the gentleman helped us. He hand grinded and frothed the milk and everything. The price was fine to me and well worth it. My husband and I ordered just a latte because we didn’t know what else to get. Man, that is some smooth coffee. I can’t wait to try the End of the World Mayan Mocha. My daughter is going to drool over the Chai too. Bottom line, I’ll definitely be back and often.

Susanica T. and I both needed to work, and we can never manage to get anywhere with wifi more than an hour and a half before it closes. And then we found C Plus, which is open a delightful 24⁄7. I’ve never been in a coffee place like this; it’s like if maybe The Smell was a coffee place. Kinda dim, red lighting, painted Pong and Space Invaders on the walls, a bathroom covered in graffiti(encouraged by management), and a punk soundtrack(a little more pop-punk than I prefer, but I did get to sing along about hacking the heads off little girls and putting them on my wall while I typed notes relating a therapeutic session with a kid, so yeah)(I don’t consider the Misfits poppy, no), seating was painted school desks and a couple tables covered in designs scratched in by patrons(my favorite being«how soon is meow?» with a drawing of Meowissey). My favorite thing about C Plus, period, was Kat, the late-night barista, and Susanica and I want her to be our BFF. We’d gone there to work but Kat is hilarious and has loads of awesome stories, and that’s way more fun than work, so I didn’t end up getting as much done as I’d planned, but whatever. She also made sure I got a coffee drink I like; I’m not a coffee drinker, but I needed to stay awake. Usually the only drinks I can deal with are chocolate frappablendedfroufrous, but Kat made me a Mayan Mocha, easy on the coffee and heavy on the mocha, and it was really good. The drink menu isn’t as extensive as many other places, but so long as I find something I like, it’s cool, plus the beans are hand-ground when you order, which is kinda special. Non-dairy milk isn’t extra, which I’ve never seen anywhere. Pulling down a star just because there need to be more snacks; I saw one bagel and half a dozen Moon Pies. Not saying I need anything fancy, just cookies or muffins or something? And the restroom floor was wet and it smelled like pee. These will not stop me from returning, and I no longer dread upcoming all-nighters! Roller skates acceptable. For those of you in wheelchairs: the shop is accessible, the restroom is not.

Been once. Thought it was great. Reminded me of the old coffee shops from the 80s and 90s. Punk Rock, not giving a fuck, and random furniture. I’m not much of a coffee person, to be honest. I don’t need caffeine, but I like the flavor and I hate mega-chains like Over-Roasted-Bucks, and I gladly support little indie-businesses like C Plus. They’re cool because they’re not interested in «being» cool, they just do what the fuck they want, and just happen to be cool. Oh, have the city install more bike racks!

Mediocre. I think it’s trying to be too cool for its own good. Also, the guy at the counter looked like helping me was the absolute last thing he felt like doing, yawning as I asked him questions about the menu(which is written in chalk on a board, almost ineligible), especially when I was literally the only customer in the place. I can see why. Here’s the other thing, if your main selling point is coffee, have some flavored coffee too. Getting a vanilla latte is out of the question at this place.

A couple of weeks ago my husband and I walked into C Plus to get out of our hot-ass apartment and work on some things online. Right off the bat I ordered some coffee, and it was SOGOOD. The guy took the time to ask me if I liked sweet or not, judged from my answers which drink I’d like best, and proceeded to craft a beverage that I truly appreciated. My husband paid for it and got himself a water. Later he told me when he asked for the water, the barista guy said, «Boo,» and looked done with him. «What the fuck?’ I thought. How does he know my husband isn’t allergic to caffeine? More importantly, who cares? Yes, it is nice to see a coffee shop that is not Starbucks, not trendy, not full of rich assholes, not soulless, and run by people who have principles and hold themselves and others to high standards, BUT, why assume someone is not worth your time because he didn’t purchase a coffee? Wasn’t I there purchasing a second coffee? Didn’t I tip? Didn’t we leave right around the two hour mark? The thing is, I get it. You don’t want douchy customers who are there just to use the internet all night, self-righteously look down on your choice of chairs, wall paint, and music, and fill your space with mindless chatter and negativity. But you have to give people a chance sometimes. Not everyone is a dick.

I’ve been going to this place on any late-night that is available to me when I’m not busy, or if I’m feeling rather insomnia-like and could use a good cup of hot java. Me and a friend stumbled here after Unilocaling any 24-hour cafes within the area, and C Plus was the top result, and the only one that was open, seeing as it was already about 2AM at the time. We didn’t know at the time what we were in store for, especially at that time of night Luckily, the baristas that operate this place know how to brew some pretty mean stuff here. With a darkly-lit ambience, an eclectic hodge-podge of punk/garage music playing on the speakers(to the point where I will almost always pull out my iPad and shazam the played song), and a really charming staff that even take the extra effort to ask what are you in the mood for, this is the kind of coffee joint you barely see around LA anymore, unless you know where to look, of course. Definitely worth the visit if you’re a local around Glendale, and if not, then it would be worth the late-night drive. Brewed coffee and good selection of interestingly-named sandwiches aside, try their signature«End Of The World» drink!

Yes, I am a fan. Although I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I do love their Chai. I was looking for a Coffee Shop that’s open 24 hrs around my area so I can do some school work and I found this joint on Unilocal. At first, I was shocked to find no one inside. Given it was empty. So f**king what if the guy is knocked the f**k out. Give him a break. He’s tired as hell. Just as long as he can make us some QUALITY coffee he can be on his way. I appreciate how they stick to their beliefs. DON’T CHANGE. I give it a 4 out of 5 because a 5 means the very BEST quality and customer service. I give a 4 because of integrity, quality of coffee and chai, originality, and music. Pros: I appreciate the time it takes to make a great coffee. Quality always takes time. Cons: If I was a stuck up douchbag, I would complain about the quality of service. I’m sure most people would. I’m just there to do my thing, get some coffee and chai, and get the f**k out. If you’re looking for a place to get pampered, get the f**k out, this place isn’t for you. Sometimes the internet server goes down. I get over it. lol and Yes, I try to leave before my 2 hour mark =)

Great coffee, great music, and decent prices. What more could you want? C Plus is a small, locally-owned coffee shop that has a 90’s punk rock theme. This may be weird and random for Glendale but I totally dig it. They don’t ground the coffee beans until you order your drink, which is super legit. Not to mention the coffee is amazing and high quality. The only drawback is the location and the lack of pastry/food options. I’ll still go here and support a local business that really care about quality service and great coffee.

every one of those stars well deserved. If you want starbucks, go to starbucks. Not all of us want such hermetic hemorrhages. I know, you live in the valley so you expect everything to be prim, proper, spoon fed, and then shoved up your nose with a siphon of brown sugar. And luckily for you; most things are. But this isn’t one of them. This is a destination, not a soulless store.

So this place was recommended by a coworker so I was needing a caffeine kick and decided to check it out. The place has a bit of an edgier grungy type of feel. I wanted an iced latte and the guy said they could use their strongest coffee which was this iced coffee and then add milk. I asked how strong it was and if he’d recommend it or something else. He just said it depends on how much caffeine you want. So I got the strong coffee and sure enough, it was super strong. I checked in to Unilocal and saw the offer for a free moon pie, so I decided to redeem. I asked the guy which flavor was better — chocolate, banana or vanilla and he just said, it depends which one you like. So I went for the chocolate, which was yummy. The coffee was decent but the service was a bit meh.

I spent ten minutes in this place for the first time last night, and I’m in love with it. This is an awesome hole-in-the wall, rockin’ joint. Open 24⁄7. You can write on the bathroom walls. They hand-grind your beans. They are friendly. They are inexpensive. They have whoopie pies. ‘Nuff said.

This place is AmAAAAYYYYYZEEENG: D. man. I’m never going to have tea anywhere else. Ok so I was sick and wanted something warm and yummy to coat my insides — so my bf suggested this place. I was down, considering it was something like 11 pm and nothing else was open. I’ll admit its in a rather strange, and perhaps at times shady, part of Brand Blvd. but that being said we had no problems. We walked up, two folks were outside smoking, didn’t say hello, so we walked in. One couple was sitting at a table and no1 was at the counter, which was fine since it gave us time to look at the menu. Anyway, after 3 minutes or so, the dude outside came in and we ordered. I got a lemongrass tea and my bf got a chai. We waited quite a bit for the tea but man was it worth it! First of all, they came out in mason jars– HOWFREAKIN’ CUTE, so I was immediately happy. Then, we tasted it. I hate chai. I’m telling you I’ve had it and tried to like it at so many places because it looks delicious but nope. I have detested it… UNTILNOW. Jeezuz, I almost gulped down my bf’s entire drink. THECHAIWASBEYONDDELICIOUS. I was pretty shocked. It was the perfect blend of smooth and creamy, with the tea flavored still infused, and not too sweet either. I had to wait a long time for my tea to cool down enough to try. When it finally did I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor. Again, perfect. I didn’t even add any sugar. I can’t wait to go back. Probably tmorrow. And the next day. Just FYI — this place isn’t your typical preppy sunny tea place — they play loud music of the rock? genre and the best I could describe the décor might be «grunge»? although I admit I almost have no idea what that means. Anyway, try it out: D you won’t be disappointed.

LOVE this place! I gave it 5 because you should go! Service is great, knowledgeable, coffee and moon pies are delicious! Fresh ground, hand poured coffee, and they do it sooooo right! *drooling sounds* Lots of outlets, small tables in the front and a bigger one in back to spread out on/group work. I gave it 5 stars because it exactly nails what it’s going for. BUT, there are a few things to pre for beforehand so you know what you’ll be getting: Since it’s 24 hr, if you are going to study/work know this — 1)The music is rad but kinda loud if you need concentration, if that will bother you bring noise canceling earphones or something. 2)At night, the lights are pretty dim. Be prepared if that bothers your eyes/sit closer to the windows b/c there is a lot of outside street lights lit up at night. PS — Reading the owner’s response to a few of the Unilocal reviews is definitely what got me in here. I waited tables all throughout college, and there is nothing quite like working in customer service to give you some perspective. I hate to burst all your delicate little bubbles, but yes, the customer can be wrong.(What, just because you are a customer at the moment, suddenly you are a shining example of etiquette and good manners… I think not). And if you can’t think of at least 10 people you have run into in the past year that were complaining/bitching at a business for compleeeeeeetely unnecessary reasons… then you are probably the person I am talking about. Spoiler Alert: You may be a douchelord, you are not a pretty pretty princess, and no one likes your antics. Now sloooooowly turn around and walk away. :) Sincerely, Everyone PPS– I like the location, it’s in Glendale of all places which is something unique for the neighborhood. Therefore it is not overrun with a-hipsters, OR b-glamed up Glendalians on double dates.

The reason I went into C+ the first time a couple months ago, is because I drove by and thought ‘Whoa what the — that place looks like a serial killer painted it!’ I didn’t even know what kind of business it was, but I vowed that when my errands in Glendale were complete, that I would return to investigate. What I found was a coffee shop that is open 24 hours. Almost any other detail doesn’t matter after this, because that is badass. But I will continue. At first had the idea of never mentioning it to anyone — so that it could be my secret spot! Then I realized that a coffee shop that caters to only one gal who is so busy, she can only make it once a week at most, will probably close. So guys, it’s a coffee shop, that once inside, transports me to my youth — which was spent growing up in the SF Bay Area. In fact, I can sit in there and imagine I am in Santa Cruz — while the old AFI blasts and the Videodrome-esque décor welcomes me into its staticy arms and one of the owners, in his band patch covered jacket makes me coffee. I feel comfortable in this place — I can see where some would not. I feel awesome. I have only had coffee and espresso here — but both were ground to order & tasted good. Craft coffee chasers will have their choice of fancy sounding brews. I have not had any food there — but there has been pastries & I saw sandwiches on the menu last time I was in. If I try those puppies, I’ll update you. I live in Atwater — walking distance from Proof. Why not go there, you say? Well I do. But I have been hit on there on numerous occasions — which kills me cause like– it’s so small and there is no way to get away in a subtle manner & I hate how everyone obviously is feeling like they are really effing cool just to be sitting there. It makes me never ever want to hang out there — though I am not putting down the coffee or food. I like those things. But they are closed Mondays WHEN I NEEDCOFFEEGODDAMNIT, closed evenings & I cannot sit there and chill without feeling uneasy. Too much of a scene — I like to make my own, thank you very much. This is another reason I was glad to have stumbled upon C+. It is Atwater adjacent & hang out in-able. C+ is a non snobby shop with snobby coffee, kind staff, wi-fi, foods and cool music and you can go there ANYTIMEYOUWANT! ISN’T THATAWESOME?

I went for a walk on my lunch hour and stumbled upon this place. So happy that I did; it’s amazing! I didn’t have my glasses on, so I couldn’t see the board, but I told him I wanted a black cup of coffee«darkest roast you have.» It was AMAZING. A little expensive and I didn’t see the tip jar. Next time, I’ll bring a little extra for a tip because they deserve it! I will definitely be back :) P. S. Excellent music
