Honestly, it wasn’t what I expected at all. I went in just curious to try the place out and it somehow ended up being one of my favorite places to take my lunch. The restaurant floor is pretty small but there are lots of seats, I prefer taking it to-go. If you’re looking for a good teriyaki beef and rice plate, you should give this place a try.

Whoa!!! Where to start??? This is true teriyaki food. Not only is it so dreamingly delicious, it’s also affordable. Who knew that a place like this would have such great service a well. The chicken/beef teriyaki with rice and noodles are good, but my personal best dish will be beef and noodles only. I’m a picky eater but then again it is what I’m eating. They also have shrimp if you desire some seafood in your dish. And don’t forget their cold, crisp refreshing Cokes.

We love this place! My kids request it every time we’re nearby. They love the chicken teriyaki and egg rolls. I love the galbi. They are fast and super tasty. It’s a tiny place but they have great flavors. The prices are very reasonable. D yourself a favor and stop by when you’re in the neighborhood!

My bf introduced me to this place and I’m so happy that he did. We came in here for my lunch break because I work near by. I got the beef rib teriyaki and my bf got the chicken & beef teryaki. By the way they serve it with rice and noodles so they nailed it. Hahaha It was Sooo good! Not too salty and not to sweet. The meat and the portion size of the food is perfect! I think I will be your regular customer. :)

Decent food, decent prices, place is small but it’s a block away from home so never I’ve never ate inside I’ve always called ahead for pick up and they always have my food hot and ready.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a teriyaki place around Glendale and came upon this neat little place after studying at Starbucks on the block over. This teriyaki place is pretty small, which some people say is bad according to some reviews. There are a few things that need work such as dusting on certain corners of the walls and possible new paper decorations, but this isn’t a review about interior design or structure, it is about the quality of service and the taste of the food. Overall the joint is pretty nice and cozy. When we entered the shop, the waiter was very kind and greeted us, as well as the cook. It made us happy that they let us dine in even though they were about 30 minutes away from closing down for the night. We ordered a small beef and chicken teriyaki combo and to our surprise, the sizing was pretty big and good enough to fill you up for a ‘small’ size. To us, the large could’ve been shared between us. The pricing was very affordable which I really loved as well as the mix of the variety of food such as teriyaki and korean bbq. The beef teriyaki I ordered was delicious and I absolutely loved the rice. I’m not much of a fan of chow mein-like noodles, but decided to give it a try and at first the texture of the noodles felt a bit rubbery(can’t think of another word to describe it) but after eating it for a bit, the texture isn’t bad and I can be pretty picky with the textures of foods. The flavor made the noodles taste good either way. The waiter was kind enough to bring us some waters and provide refills and sincerely asked how we were doing and our thoughts about the food. As they were nearing closing for the night, the cook and the waiter left us with a friendly goodbye greeting. I’ll be sure to come back again after studying nearby at the starbucks.

I have a construction job site that I inspect every week, and afterwards I always pick up a bowl from this spot. Awesome and delicious and great bang for the buck.

Hands down the best Korean BBQ joint in Glendale! I love Korean BBQ, but I hate having to drive all the way to Korea town to find some good places. Well thankfully I just found my new favorite place! I was surprised this small little café had 4 ½ stars on Unilocal, but I can see now that they definitely deserve it! The restaurant is quite small, but very clean and well kept. The gentleman working behind the counter was super nice, and he was really helpful! I order the Pork Teriyaki plate and my boyfriend order the Bulgogi plate. We both got the large sizes, since we thought the smaller ones would be too small. When our food got to us we were in shock, the plates were HUGE! Our total bill was under $ 20, so I didn’t think the plates would be very big, but let me tell you they were! The pork teriyaki plate I ordered was delicious, tons of pork and incredible homemade teriyaki sauce! The bulgogi plate was just as good, again topped with tons of meat. We devoured our meals, and I can happily say that we will be coming back for sure! :)

My absolute favorite place to eat chicken and beef teriyaki with chowmein. Amigo is the man. Another thing that is a must try is the homemade kimchi. Mitzees never disappoints. So if you are ever in Glendale make sure you try this place.

I haven’t been here for years. I dreamt about it and went straight here for lunch with a friend. Saw Amigo is still here and got older though but still the same happy face. The food has stayed the same quality and taste as before. We ordered number 9 w/c is beef and chicken teriyaki and ended up emptying our plates of a large order. I will try others next time and will come back again frequently.

PROS Great presentation. Chicken is chewy with a great smoky flavor. Noodles are delicious. Tasty vegetables and real silverware to eat with. CONS Not enough food.(I’m used to mall eatery portions) Setting feels cheap and dirty. Staff is low energy. For what I wanted, tasty teriyaki chicken, they delivered. :)

I told me gf about this place. The last time I ate here was when I was a kid. Back then I remember eating one of their Korean BBQ& was blown away by the taste. So I told my gf about it, & we decided to try it out. Her first time. We got there late afternoon. The place was empty. The walls & the ceiling were covered in what seemed to be frying oil. I didn’t bother to go to the restroom. I ordered the KOREANBEEFBBQ Plate. She ordered the KOREANCHICKENBBQ. The food here, whilst the presentation is great, the taste is mediocre. I wasn’t blown away like when I was a kid eating their food. It was alright.

I’ve been coming to this spot since I was a kid with my parents and recently rediscovered it. And I am Glad I did! It’s just as delish as I remembered ! Great chicken, teriyaki sauce is bomb, rice is perfectly cooked, and noodles are amazing! Oh and the hot sauce is pretty damn good to! Another hidden jem! Give them a try, you won’t be sorry !

I really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken at Mitzee and I’m super picky about teriyaki sauce and chicken thighs. I’m from Hawaii where we have great teriyaki sauces, Mitzees tasted homemade, Korean — style; it was yummy! I also like that the chicken isnt fatty and is cooked well. Chow mein was good, too. Friendly workers, also :)
