My recent stay at this hotel was due to fire damage at my home. From day one the staff was kind, courteous, compassion and accommodating.
Management and front desk staff is very friendly. I was always greeted with smiles and encouraging words.
Housekeeping does a wonderful job. The hotel is very clean. The beds are comfortable and made with military precision (you could bounce a quarter on them).
Breakfast is nice and plentiful with many choices. Dining room hostess (Michelle) is warm and charming,

Went here for a soccer tournament over the week end. The hotel was clean and nice. Though I don’t think it is as wonderful as everyone says on trip advisor — a lot of build up over there.
The walking trail in the back was fantastic. It leads to Shelby Park. Loved this and was able to utilize it a few times while we were here.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
I agree with the other reviewers the breakfast wasn’t that great, but the breakfast employee was fantastic. She made sure we had everything we needed.

Nice looking place. Beauty is only skin deep. High speed Internet is a lightning fast 0.11 Mbs. Even the worst cable plans are 2.0 Mbs. Called customer service and they couldn’t log in due to the slow connection. TV are small and no hi-​def. also, how does the breakfast bar run out of gravy and cinnamon rolls. Clean, Not worth the money.

7 miles away from I-​40. Coffee was terrible, luggage carts would not roll, customer service was entitled, construction is very cheap, air conditioning was faulty, no HD on a tiny TV. Unacceptable for a hotel w $ 134 rate
