I felt like I was eating at a nursing home cafeteria with my 95 year old senile grandmother. Except the lingering feeling of death and her repeated stories would probably be a more inviting atmosphere than this dive. The bathroom only had one stall, so I couldn’t even properly rid myself of the garbage I consumed. V. Bad. Great customer service though.

I went here tonight for the first time and it was okay it was way cleaner than most buffets I must say and the food was okay but the all beef burgers were outstanding. The catfish was good and the salad bar was just a salad bar they had two salad bars the price for a Wednesday night cost my daughter 27 something for two meals and one drink, drinks are 1.99. Don’t touch the Mac and Cheese its over done and starchy and grainy, my daughter didn’t care for the chocolate chip cookies she says that she is a cookie connoisseur and those wasn’t good. They had a big variety of foods to choose from you wont be disappointed about finding something you’ll like. The desserts were okay I had the Millionaire pie it wasn’t bad it was my first time having it. I forgot to try the rolls and I didn’t care for the fried chicken it was kinda dried out to me and I got mine from a tray they had just brought out. The staff is nice tho and helpful I want to visit on Saturday or Sunday when they do breakfast to see how that is.

Delicious. I have always loved Furrs. I love the buffet style that they serve at this location. I am originally from Lubbock, Texas, and all the Furrs were cafeteria style. Here you pick however much of whatever you want! They have all of the staples I am familiar with, plus lots of food that is new to me there. I will definately keep coming back again and again to this location

Nobody wears a hair net. Several have long hair. Had to get a manager to get our drinks. Our area had dirty tables the whole time of our visit.

First time here, I was around the area and saw good reviews, but they have Bad food, food is cold and there’s not to much selection. Desserts where ok, but definitely I won’t come here, not for that price. $ 30 for two.

I usually don’t do buffet, but I though I will give it a try since the place seems pretty clean from the outside, food is okay. Wait staff are not bad, but you can easy run of your appetite before eating just to watch this low class people eat, not to mention they over serve their food and the plates are nasty looking with all this stuff on it… no Bueno.

Wow. What a difference in good quality between here and Golden Corral. No comparison! This Furr’s food is fresh, doesn’t taste like it’s been on a steam table for 8 hours, and is seasoned really well. Everything I tasted was excellent. It’s not Las Vegas quality, but it’s definitely worth $ 12 a person. The fried chicken was juicy and crunchy. The fish was flaky and not too fishy. The vegetables weren’t overlooked, although the mashed potatoes were a little runny. The service wasn’t great. We had to find our own silverware, and our water took a long time to refill. But overall, good! My vote for best family buffet around. The manager even helped my wife try to find her favorite college basketball game on their television!

Someone in one of the Dallas Unilocal forums said that the flame grilled burgers at Furr’s were pretty good. I couldn’t remember if I ever had a burger there before, and it’s been along time since I’ve visited, so I went to check it out. There weren’t any burgers on the grill, but the buffet had some, though I didn’t know how fresh they were. I built my own guacamole cheese burger. It was fair, but the house made rolls were excellent. The other items I tried, chicken, and mixed vegetables, were average. Same with the banana pudding and dark chocolate bliss pie, which sounds great, but was merely average. Three stars.

We got here paid for our meal. Not to bad same as golden corral .We both went to the restroom to wash our hands i almost through the receipt away because of lack of pockets. Good thing I didn’t the waitress had to see it before she would bring us drinks. No big deal. Then my husband sat without any tea meanwhile the waitress and manager(I. Think he was a manager, he had on a tie.) we talking it up about how she needs a vacation blah, blah, blah… Yea you are a teenager. Vacation from what?! Lol. The manager was asking what about college plans. Well, hope she not paying her own way 20 mins with no tea wont even cover community college. I tip based on the work you do and attitude. This chick may not get one. Our dirty plates sat there the whole time we ate. The food is fair. Great selection. The deserts are yummy looking. Save room.

This furrs is ok. Never really had a problem. Don’t come on Sunday tho the line is out the door. Overall good. Servers are attentive more than before. Buffet is a little over priced but the food is good hot and fresh and the grill is awesome. Today I went for my bday with my mom and luckily the place was empty. Good place to visit better than the one on 30.

My husband grew up eating Furr’s in New Mexico with his grandma. Furr’s has always held a special place in his heart because of that. He loves the chicken fried steak, spinach, rice, mashed potatoes and dinner rolls. We came here yesterday(Sunday) around 2pm. It was extremely crowded and we struggled to find a parking spot and then had to wait awhile inside for a table. The employees were nice and our server was great. There is a variety of food available on the buffet. I opted for the fried chicken which was really good. The mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese were lukewarm. That is one of the reasons why I shy away from buffets. While the food was good, I would rather order from a menu to ensure freshness(and hotness).

We went in at around 8:15 pm, they do not close until 9:30, so I thought it would be ok. The entire time we were there, they were sweeping around our table, the dessert bar was being taken apart, the manager was sure to get his 2 pieces of pie before it was all gone. The soft serve ice cream machine was taken apart, so no ice cream. The floors were wet and there were wet floor signs up everywhere around the buffet. I talked to the manager before I left and told him my issues and he said«well we have more pies in the back» ummm how are people supposed to eat them from there? Not a good experience at all and he could have cared less! Will not be visiting again…

Took much too long to be seated even though tables were available. When it was my turn the lady seating just leaned against the counter by the silverware and started chatting with the other employees so I picked up silverware and seated myself. Then my chair fell apart when I pulled it out to sit down. The server pulled up another chair for me but left the chair out for someone else to potentially use and get hurt in. The food was plentiful but had been left out or not cooked well. Overall not a good experience at all.

We come to this specific location about once a month. The food is always fresh, tasty, and hot. We also take advantage of the cook who will make eggs and omelets on the spot for you. K. B complained about salt — but unless you eat sausage, bacon, or other naturally salty meats, you will find the food to be quite good. I do not eat salt so I can usually detect moderate or even light salt when added to meals, and I do not taste it on any normal food. The staff is admittedly hit or miss. One time we had a waitress never ask if we needed refills or even check on us. Ninety percent of the time, though, we have received courteous, fast service. We visited there this morning and will continue doing so in the future. I hate buffets, cafeterias, and crowds — but Furrs is simply too good to pass up. I would definitely recommend breakfast on weekends; I have only eaten dinner here once and it was good — not epic, but good.

Fresh food(I mean they replace it after so many minutes, not just when it’s gone), friendly and helpful staff, and a great price for a fully stocked breakfast buffet(Eggs along with mac & cheese and fried chicken). It was good food too. Is it the best breakfast I’ve ever eaten, no, but for a buffet, it was very close to outstanding. Give it a try yourself and you won’t be disappointed.

You know, there’s nothing like a buffet to make me feel good about myself. Having never been to Furrs, I tried almost everything, taking one or 2 bites. I couldn’t bring myself to finish ANY of it, much less go back for more. Everything tastes like SALT. EVERYTHING.
