The two times I’ve stopped to eat here the food has been so SALTY. Way saltier than it should be. They might as well serve flavored salt licks. The salt is overwhelming. Honestly. Also, the prices are not good. It’s very expensive for food you can easily prepare at home.

We went on Thanksgiving but got in pretty quickly. Waitress was very nice but the food quality was marginal at best. My daughter picked up a bowl from the clean pile to get ice cream and and it was still dirty with food residue on it. Good variety of food but most of it just didn’t taste very good. Would not recommend.

There was nothing even okay about my experience. I frequented Golden Corral many times as a child with my family when my parents were too tired to cook. It’s been more than 10 years since I’ve been to one but I have better expectations than the one experienced this time around. Walking in and finding an table was easy. The reason for that being was that it was easy to differentiate the clean ones from the multitude of tables littered with dirty plates. Every table surrounding our table was left in the state that the previous customers had left it and no effort was made to clean them while I dined there. It was not the kind of environment that you can comfortable enjoy your meal in. The food was way below subpar. Everything was edible but seemed to be coated in salt. The only thing that was enjoyable was the frozen yogurt offered as a dessert. On top of all of this, I saw my waitress a total of ONE time and that was 15 minutes into my dinner when she brought me a straw and asked me to let her know if I need anything else. I didn’t go in expecting fine dining but for $ 12 dollars, I expected decent food and service at the very least.

I kinda knew that Golden Corral had fell off years ago… but this location is the WORST. To begin with. the dining room had an awful trashy smell. Tables and booths worn out and scratched up. What took the cake, was this pipe(maybe the garbage disposal mechanism) in clear view not even 4steps away from the food set up. Who wants to see nasty thrown away food being dumped down a drain when they are about to eat. Lastly, the food SUCKED!.., I’m team Furrs from here on out.

Came on Easter Sunday and the food was pretty good. Wide variety since we came right between breakfast and lunch. The food was kind of salty though. Plates and silverware were always stocked and the staff was very helpful considering the crowd.

Worst experience I’ve ever had dining out. There were no normal size cups so we had to settle for the kiddie cups, which our waitress was to busy to ever refill. All the dishes were dingy. The food wasn’t very good and it certainly wasn’t hot. The dining room was cramped. We only saw our waitress once. It certainly wasnt worth the 30 dollars we paid.

The most horrifying experience of my life. I’d rather go to jail. Every single plate, fork, knife, or spoon we picked up was covered in dried food. We had no cups and every employee we asked — even the managers — told us to find our server. We hadno server. We helped ourselves to cups and serving ourselves drinks. Kids were putting their tongues under the chocolate and caramel fountains. The floors were stickier than a movie theater, the tables had no condinents and were covered with dried food. The selection was small and it all tasted gross. The place had to have been 2x the occupancy limit. And all for $ 10!

I’ve eaten at other Golden Corrals, but this one was aweful! It just felt dirty and unorganized. The food was over cooked and the lay out was just goofy. I’ll stick to Furr’s for fresh choices!

Great breakfast buffet. Wide variety of foods plus an omelet station. And most importantly, all the bacon you can stand.

I am deeply confused after reading the other reviews. This is the worst one I’ve been in. When you walk in the floors were sticky. The drink machines were covered old sticky drinks. it smelled awful. As we were waiting to get a seat I saw someone drop tongues on the floor. A staff member picked them up and put them back into the food. When a seat was finally available we weren’t shown to our seat. The staff member just pointed and said«over there.» She may have well just grunted at us. There was one table open and it was a mess. I asked for it to be wiped down but it never was. So we all just sat down. The plates were dirty. The food was just ok. I was more concerned about it’s safety than taste. Nasty nasty place.

Very good food Lighting is excellent. The walkway where you get your food is very wide an spacious. No rotten or bad smells Very clean Upon entering a sign that says any drink as many refills for just 1.99 This includes Soda Milkshakes Icee Slushi Teas an juices Coffee, milk, chocolate milk. There are lots to choose from Unlike the neighboring furrs where meats are at one place This location has many areas such as Seafood table Pizza and pasta table Salad bar Steak American Mexican Chinese Crab legs Name it, they have it king crab legs. The old location only had 3 frozen yogurts This one has 12 frozen yogurt flavors Plus it’s own area with over 6 types ice cream Including birth day cake

Went there yesterday for lunch with my dad and little sister. I have to say I like this new location better than where it used to be. There are many more food choices now and the salad bar was great! I loved it, except the Froyo. The place was real crowded but I go during lunch.

A snazzy new Golden Corral opened in the area I refer to as the death trifecta(Walmart, Furrs, and Golden Corral all on the same block.) Honestly I had not been to a Golden Corral since the Clinton administration, so it’s been a while. The new location seems to have much more seating than the old ones. The buffet is exponentially larger, seriously the buffet is massive. Being an all you can eat place the food isn’t that great, but still much much better than Furrs. The roasted chicken was good, though a tad salty. They had fresh spinach on the salad bar which was a plus. Didn’t much care for the«cheddar garlic» biscuits as there seemed to be no cheddar or garlic and just some weird imitation butter flavored liquid. The yeast rolls were good though. The desert bar is huge here, gone are the days of there being two flavors of soft serve and a couple of baked sweets. They have like 6 – 8 flavors of frozen yogurt, had dipped ice cream, a person spinning cotton candy, and fresh donuts. Be warned though the desert bar resembles Lord of the Flies with throngs of unaccompanied children milling about, haphazardly dashing for sweets like its the last supper. Overall the place was clean, and the waitress kept the drink filled.

HANDSDOWN the best family buffet i’ve had! The food tasted a whole lot better than the buffet joint we have here called, Hometown Buffet. I thought it was a little weird that the beverage station was before paying. Fresh veggies and steroid size asparagus. They had a good selection of food. They had a pretty cool dessert bar(fresh cotton candy, chocolate fondue fountain, fresh doughnut maker, cappuccino machine, and etc. It was cool how the servers came back to replenish our refreshments. You guys need to open some spots in SOCAL.

Im no way fancy in anyway… but if I could describe this place in one word I would say… CIRCUS I have been to Golden Corral several times prior to visiting the newly renovated location and the place went downhill fast… so I became a Furrs fan. After I saw the new location off 635 I wanted to give them another try to redeem thereselves and honestly its a step ‘up’ from the past … but let me descibe my experience in no particular order : I find the whole grab your cup when you walk in, and then move down the line approach kinda dum in my opinion .It just screams traffic especially when u walk in the door and people cant make there mind was stupid, then they ran out of cups and trays so you guessed it ”more traffic” …after your done with all that mess its then time to pay… cup in one hand and money in the other… SMH…Of course ‘more traffic’. Then finally after that BS the hostess or whatever u want to call her, gets on a walkie talkie gidget and attempts to locate a table… after you guessed it ”more traffic ” you finally get a table after I guess one is cleared .The Hostess precise words were ”Find the lady in the pink shirt” …so we finally got a table thank god. fast forward… we waited for our service to bring straws(still stupid) after about 10 mins… after finally getting our straws(thank goodness we werent dying of thirst) we took sips of our extra unsweetend lemonade and then got up to locate our food. food was good… like I said, a step up from the past and you can tell they were trying… I had chicken fried steak, lasanga, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, bread, popcorn shrimp, meatloaf, corn, catfish, fried chicken, fried okra, liver and onions, fries, onion rings and cotton candy on a stick –ANDNOYOUCANTTAKEITOUTWITHYOU — STUPIDAGAIN.(this was all sampled of course, I am no way able to devour all that food lol). The chairs areextremly close to other customers and well,…lets just say you know what to expect when your at a buffett… it’s like the movie nutty proffessor times 10… good luck sqeezing in the tiny tables … so to sum up my saturday lunch — it was good but im going to prob stick with furrs next door because the concept is much better over there

Let me begin with saying that I am thoroughly impressed with the food selection at this location. It’s spectacular! Upon entering you are greeted with a self serve beverage station that offers a plethora of options to accompany your meal. In addition to the standard sodas, you get more unusual options like Horchata, Icees, smoothies, juices and even milkshakes! This place is massive, and after settling on a table I started snooping around to get an idea of where to start. With so many options, I wanted to make sure that I had planned to hit all the dishes that count; you know like hush puppies, mac and cheese, and popcorn shrimp. For me, the main attraction to buffets is the array of foods, not necessarily eating greater quantities. Because there were so many delicious options, I found my self being extra mindful about what I put on my plate so that I would have room for all the things I like. I was very impressed with how tasty the items from there Italian selections were. I had pasta with marinara, bruschetta and ravioli with Alfredo sauce. It was so flavorful. I also had tiny samplings from other cuisines they showcased. I had an Asian chicken dish which was incredible, and I also indulged in an enchilada and rice which was also fantastic. Other notable highlights from my meal included the green beans, chopped BBQ slider and the garlic butter biscuit. The desert offerings were top notch. Donuts? Yep., they got em’ Cotton candy? Yep got that too. Chocolate fountain? But of course! I tend to stick to the traditional banana pudding and chocolate pie. They do them very well here. The service was friendly and I have to say that the plates and silverware were well stocked, clean and even the multicolored plates were organized by color. Overall this was a very pleasant dining experience and very reasonably priced at under $ 12 for the buffet and drink combined. I will certainly be back to this location as it makes the other Golden Corrals look like a whole other inferior chain all together. How could I be expected to go to the old ones now that I’ve been to this one? That would be nuts!
