I’ve been the Duke now for a while and have been coming here a while. I still don’t see why the low rating. I have yet to have a bad or unpleasant experience. The staff has always been friendly and good consistent.

Great subs, the best around. Subway does not compare to the taste and quality of Jersey Mike’s. I got the Jersey Shore Favorite today with extra pickles, banana peppers and jalapeño. My regular sandwich is the #13, but switched it up today for a change. The staff here seems very friendly, my first time at this location, but they seemed to know the regulars and remembered what they normally order. Today is double shore points so go get your sandwich today. If you have not signed up for the shore points, do it and you can earn free subs, it is easy and why not get a free sub out of it.

Great sandwiches. I like the menu the fact that it is pretty simple. They keep the choices limited while having the quality their focus. Gotta go with Mikes way. The red stuff pepper spread is fantastic. Oh dont forget to tip so they can ring the bell for u.

This store is tucked in the corner of the lot. It’s one of the best jerseys mikes around. The staff is friendly and no matter how bizzy they are I haven’t seen them mess up in a order yet. And I’ve been in there when it was a mad rush. Order the #7 on wheat with lettuce, mayo and pickles w/baked lays chips. That the Ty way lol.

Was looking forward to going to Jersey Mikes for lunch with my husband due to its reputation for great sandwich’s friendly service and fast line. Not the case for the Gardena location which recently replaced Quiznos. We walked in and were not even acknowledged, waited in a long and slow line only for the sandwich artist to look like she was bothered that she was even at work. My husband ordered a hot sandwich which they seemed to forget about– the cashier let several people cut us to pay and on top of it they messed up his sandwich. Not sure if they had a recent change in management but seems like they need it at this location.

So happy you’re close to my bank. It can get crowded because of the location. But that’s okay because these are some yummy sandwiches. I always ask for mayo on both sides and the chili spread. It definitely makes the sandwich that much more enjoyable.

Cheesesteak is dependable. But the man behind the counter(turns out he’s the owner) is fast, crisp, quick. Saw them slicing their own meats and cheeses, and when he gave us the sandwich he said, «Have a GREAT day! You’re going to enjoy that sandwich because I made it!» It wasn’t a mere dash of exuberance. The words were bursting out of his face. That’s customer service. Way better than walking into a Togo’s or a Subway and getting a high schooler unhappy with his summer job, or someone working a temp job eager to get out of there and throwing the goods into your food. Thanks Mike. You’re a star.

Good sandwitches, friendly staff and a manager who welcomes you and likes to create friendship with you. The only downside is that, if you use a card for your payment, there’s a option to tip which makes you feel like you have to tip rather than wanting to tip. If you pay with cash, you have the choice other than feeling obligated to tip but I’m sure that’s corporate #9, light mayo with relish all the way;-)

Appeared too busy when I arrived — didn’t even acknowledge my existence at the«order here» sign until I asked them whether they were still taking orders. Turns out they were making phone orders. Then when I finally placed my order, I went to the cashier, and no one was there! Ordered the #17, JM’s famous Philly — took about 10−15mins. Sandwich was ok but service was disappointing. If chipotle didn’t have such a long line I wouldn’t have eaten here. Oh, and there was a fly at the cold cut cutting station whizzing by the bread. Eww.

I came here because one of my friends suggested it because he loved it and he knew my love for sandwiches. So when I came I was very excited to try it out. I ended up ordering the chipotle chicken. The order didn’t take too long to come out and I was ready to eat it! Unfortunately, I didn’t really like it. The chicken had these weird texture to it and the sauce/smell was weird and made me nauseous. I have yet to come back and try out something else.

Jersey Mike’s is the only sandwich chain I like. All the rest gross me out. I had problems ordering from this location in the past(particularly over the phone), but after almost 6 months of staying away, the Jersey Mike’s craving was too strong during my lunch break. I waited in line and got the chipotle cheese steak with chicken. I asked for extra chiptole since I had problems getting any at all in the past, but I had a lot on there this time. It was super tasty and the wait was probably like 10 –15 min. during lunch rush so not bad. They have a new employee that was really nice and asking how everyone’s day is too. The customer service has definitely improved. It was a little awkward paying because when I ordered my hot sandwich they gave me my ticket and said go straight to the cash register. I think some people in line thought I was cutting. I also really dislike the payment process that asks for a tip, but have seen it in other establishments too.

I love Jersey Mike’s. I pretty much refuse to go to any other sandwich place(like Subway, Quiznos, etc.) because I have found that Jersey Mike’s quality of ingredients are so much better. Yes, you pay more at a place like this, but it’s for that specific reason — the sandwiches taste better. This location is a lot closer to home than the other location on Crenshaw Blvd. and I find that I come here more often. I always come at lunch time and the wait time tends to get pretty lengthy at 20+ minutes. BUT, I have to give them credit by saying that all the employees here WORKHARD. They try to expedite the line by taking some orders ahead of time if people are ordering hot sandwiches and have some people pay before their sandwiches are ready, but it gets confusing for customers. The confusion then adds to the already long wait time. So, from that standpoint, I think there needs to be a better system for the busy lunch hours, but I do see them making a solid effort at shortening the wait time, which I appreciate. So I know, without a doubt, that I will be returning here. But those of you who come during the lunch hour, keep in mind that the line might be lengthy.

The bottom line at Jersey Mike is this: 1. The sandwiches range from ok-good depending on your taste(not great). 2. The service is STRANGE. I cannot stand the service at Jersey Mike’s. I just went today and I feel like I was buying a used car at a slimy dealership. I stick to the turkey provolone and it’s all right, but nowhere near as tasty as the subs I get from Jimmy Johns. Everyone who knows me knows I am a JJs girl at heart. The only reason I even went to this location is because JJs hasn’t opened up in the South Bay yet and the line at Chipotle was out the door, so this was my best option. I should have known something was up when I there was NO line at this Jersey Mike’s, which seemed odd. As for the service, they are just way to amped up. Like are these employees on drugs? They need to calm way the f down. Well, let me clarify. A few of the employees today were very friendly but it was bearable — nothing weird, but this one employee was acting like a high chihuahua. «Are you having a good day?» «I always have good days, even on my bad days» «Is that weird that I always have good days?» Then we went into car salesman mode. «Do you want chips, soda, cookie?» «Are you sure?» «Really?» «You might get thirsty» «What about a brownie?» WTF. The real insult was that when paying with your card, a tip screen shows up on the card reader. So now I am being pressured to tip these crazies!!! That is just such a shady business tactic. No other sandwich place does this — especially not my beloved JJs. You know what — next time I will just drive 30 mins to the nearest Jimmy Johns. JJ employees are always friendly and upbeat, but they don’t cross the line to weird/creepy/let me get my sandwich before this one goes off the chain. Thanks Jersey Mike’s for reminding me what it’s like to deal with crazy people and car dealerships.

You know when you’re having a craving and are just too tired to drive to your favorite spot for a particular food so you settle on a place nearby and hope for the best… welcome to my Jersey Mike’s inaugural experience. Went in hopeful and came out hopeful and got home to discover my first(that I paid $ 9.00 for) bread on bread sandwich. I was seriously in the mood for a Philly Cheesesteak and I know the bread is an important part of the sandwich, but it shouldn’t be the main focus, the meat should be the focus. There was barely any meat and what they did was drowned in cheese and even though I asked for easy cheese there still seemed to be a lot. They use Provolone which I like, but when you use so much that it’s like a big snot bubble then it’s just kinda gross. The two stars are for the staff here being really nice and the service pretty good otherwise it would have been one star. I’ll stick to getting my sandwiches from Big Mikes and try never to be so lazy that I can’t drive to El Segundo because this was a total waste of my money.

Waited 25 min for the #18. The team seems disorganized and need proper training. I love Jersey Mikes, however their customer service is poor at this location. It’s time to make some changes!

Jersey Mike’s recently moved into Gardena Marketplace, replacing the Quizno’s, and to be honest, I’d rather have Quizno’s back. I’ve tried this place on two separate occasions, and both times I was disappointed. They offer hot and cold subs, wraps, and salads. Like most sub sandwich places, subs are customizable with a variety of toppings. Also, any sub can be made into a salad. Food: — Big Kahuna Cheese Steak — Grilled onions and peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra cheese. I specifically asked for no jalapenos. What did I find in my sandwich when I got home? A whole lot of jalapenos MIXED into the steak and cheese. It was basically impossible to pick them all out. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. — Turkey Wrap — Oven-roasted turkey, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard sauce. You also get a choice of wrap: regular, whole wheat, or spinach. I definitely enjoyed the flavor of the spinach tortilla! The inner contents of the wrap were alright. They definitely gave a lot of turkey, but there was barely any tomato. Also, I substituted the honey mustard for ranch dressing, and it was super watery! It could have been the water from the lettuce, too… either way, it made the bottom of my wrap soggy! I probably won’t be getting this again either. Will I give this place one last shot? Maybe. But Jersey Mike’s, three strikes and you’re out.

***I usually find Jersey Mike’s a decent spot for a quick, filling and not too expensive sandwich, but I was disappointed with this store; their roast beef with provolone sandwich was quite bland and the line seemed a tad unorganized and chaotic(though some of this was caused by the customers in line); this Jersey Mike’s is still new so they might still be working a few things out*** This Jersey Mike’s is located in a retail plaza that also holds a Ralphs and a Starbucks; this retail plaza has its own free parking lot and it is easy finding an open space.

This replaced Quiznos why? I do not know. Anyways still a nice place in the Albertsons shopping plaza next to Starbucks. Staff was very friendly. I’ll be back again
