I love love love David’s Tea. They have a huge selection. The first time I went to a David’s Tea was in Chicago. And I was so excited to find out there was a location on Long Island. In fact this is the only location on LI. Apparently there are a few in the city but I haven’t hit them up yet. Well, they don’t have as many samples every day as Teavana does, but I think their samples are fantastic. They usually have one hot one cold and they’re pure deliciousness. They’re not sweet as in they don’t have any additional sugars. And they always have these little labels say what the ingredients are. I think that’s so helpful. Because if you know you hate ginger, then why waste time trying a tea that has it as a main ingredient?! I think it’s really nice that they’re so open. Maybe they’re so nice because they’re a Canadian company? I know they pass the US and Canadian health standards. The staff at this location has always been super wonderful. If they’re making drinks for themselves they’ll usually share a little bit so that you can taste something that’s not normally out. They’re very knowledgeable but not condescending in case you’re new to tea. I’ve learned so much just by talking with the staff there. They have a huge selection of organic teas. And they’ve got a few different Matchas. Awesome! Usually I hate shopping at the mall but now I like it a little better because I get to stop in for a drink here.

Davids Tea is a total knockoff of Teavana. They offer free samples as you walk in and have a large selection of teas as well. I have to say they do have a great selection and the smell in the tea smell in the store is great. The few teas that they had out for tasting were pretty good. The staff were excellent, Eager too answer any questions and very Knowledgable.

David’s Tea is overrated. The tea is disgusting to taste. I actually tried several flavors that they were promoting during their grand opening. They all tasted like bitter cardboard with barely any hint of the actual flavor of the tea. David’s Tea is a wannabe version of Teavana. Don’t get ripped off from your pocket and your tastebuds.

I looooove tea! I figured I would give this place a try while strolling through the mall one day. The staff is very knowledgeable and are always quick to offer a wide range of varieties. There are so many choices that you are bound to find something you like. I picked the store associates brain for a little bit before arriving to a decision. I opted for the iced Jasmine Butterfly(Seriously, how cute is the name!) because I felt like having a straight green tea. It definitely was not strong enough for me, but my overall tea experience was a positive one. I would definitely come back to try something else. They also offer a variety of tea chocolate and cool things like tea pop(tea soda). Don’t forget to sign up for a rewards card too! You get a free tea on your next visit!

I was boppin’ around the mall and I find Davids Tea.(Garden City-Roosevelt Field gets all the good stores!) Davids Tea is in NYC by way of Canada. I thought Teavana was cool, Davids Tea brings it to another level. I like drinking tea in the afternoon. I was getting low on Earl Grey Tea and I decided to buy a canister at Davids Tea. If you know me, you know I’m going to mess with the counter folks and test them. There is no one in the store and I start bombarding them with questions: Is there a repeat customer card? Yes Is there hot teas to go? Yes Is there tea of the month blend specials? Yes Is there way to get to California from NYC by rail? No answer. Aha! The helpful salesperson starts to show me the layout of the store. Black cut and«pure» teas are top shelf while the«blends» are at the lower level shelves. Hey, I like blends! If your a tea snob then you have both organic and black tea. I have a tea ball that I bought in NYC. I stuff it with tea and let it seep for a few minutes. Tea time baby! So I ask how much for the tea canister? Well $ 30 for organic and $ 20 for regular. $ 20 regular please! Also, I’d like to try a Orange pekoe tea at no charge, can you please blend me a cup? Of course sir.(Always ask for free items) Ok sir, your total is $ 27. WHAT? I asked for Earl Grey, non organic! Yeah well, the weigh of the tea, yada yada yada. If you tell me it costs $ 20 bucks, adjust it so it cost $ 20 bucks… She takes a few spoons out. measuring, taking away and I’m starting to get pissy. I grab my free tea and bolt out with $ 20 worth of tea. Dave? You lost a star for that stupid azz move. I’m a steeper club member. The tea is great and I have a pitcher that I make homemade summer iced tea with Orange pekoe. Davids Tea is now in the Garden City Mall. If your a tea lover, I recommend you stop into Davids Tea

Every time my fiancé and I come here, the employees are so incredibly knowledgeable about every tea that they have and are so kind. The store itself feels inviting and welcoming. The tea itself is also amazing and my fiancé and I can’t help but go back at least twice a week. I highly recommend at least trying the samples and if you like the sample, go into the store to try more tea.

After talking a stroll in the mall to avoid the evening rush hour, my fiancé and I stumbled upon Davids Tea. The staff at Davids tea were very knowledgeable, and talked us to about the flavor and smell of a variety of teas to help us make our selection. I felt like we were on a date night because the tea selection process was an experience rather than a purchase. After taking some time to decide I landed on the jasmine tea. The taste was the perfect combination between bitter, and sweet and was warmed to perfection. Paired with a $ 1.00 earl grey tea chocolate bar it made for a great cold weather treat.
