Horrible Service. Rudeness from cashier during breakfast hours. In the hour I was sitting eating my meal the coffee machine was never refilled. My friends order never arrived. We asked more than once for coffee and got absolutely no response. I get that it’s a busy location and apparently the only one in Galveston Island but management here needs to look into this very bad service. Definitely not stepping back in here.

This Whataburger always has the friendliest staff! It is wonderful. It makes it worth the long lines.

The staff was nice enough. I like that they bring the food to your table, along with a little tray of ketchup. I went up to ask for some sauce for my chicken sandwich(it was very dry) and the woman at the counter was super helpful, told me my options, and went to get the sauce for me. This was my first visit to Whatburger(I’m from CT), and I was not super impressed with the food. I don’t know if that’s an issue with this particular location, or just Whataburger overall. I just found it to be extremely mediocre, and I’m really surprised how many locations we saw when driving around the area. There are many other fast food options that I prefer, not sure if they aren’t available in Texas? I would probably not go back to Whataburger.

This is by far one if the best locations i have been to. Clean, friendly, fresh, good and timely. Every single employee was friendly and willing to help. Hate to say it, but I may have to drive to Galveston for my whataburger fix.

They messed up my order and hesitated to fix it as if it were somehow my fault that they made a mistake. To add insult to injury I realized upon looking at my receipt that the cashier who took my order told me a total of $ 20.79(twice!) but the total on my receipt was $ 18.79. I handed her $ 21 and got $.11 back. I decided not to say anything over a dime but now I wish I had. I guess she’s pocketing a few extra dollars here and there at the customers expense. I’m aware fast food doesn’t pay well but it’s not my fault, so don’t steal from me. If you must go here, make sure you cross check your receipt total with the total they tell you. Shame on that cashier! I can only hope I’m the only one she’s done that to. One star because I can’t give less.

I love whataburger, but this one sucks. The employees are always unfriendly, the fries are always soggy and unsalted, and half of the time my burger is cold. This place needs some new management.

First off, I love Whataburger, but this one needs to be closed down or restaffed. It does not matter what day or time of day it is, the lines are crazy long. The staff are short and rude to the customers. The lines are long and slow moving. Doesn’t matter if they are busy or not. I sat in the drive thru line for 10 minutes and it never moved. Got out of line and parked to go inside. Walked in and there are 4 employees sitting down playing games on they’re phones. I stroll up to register. And someone comes up and taps a few buttons, then glares at me without saying a word. I assume she is waiting for me to order so I tell her what I’d like. She keeps glaring at me and doesn’t move. Ok? I start to ask if everything is alright and she cuts me off and in a big huff/annoyed sigh asks«you don’t want nut’n else?» Eye brows were raised. There is kind of a staring contest for about 20 seconds. Before I swallow a murders rage and say no that’s it. Swipe my card and sit down. Now the employees are still at the table not doing a thing as I can see the line outside growing and not moving. Looks like there are ten people working there but only two are actually working. Takes another 10 mins for the food and I leave. After 30 minutes for two jalapeño cheddar biscuits. Line still hadn’t moved. Not my first bad experience here but will be my last. If it wasn’t so good I would of walked away. Fire these lazy nonworking sloths or shut down the place. They are hurting the brand.

This Whataburger is a hot mess! Or at least it was last night. I know it’s Spring Break and they get pretty busy around this time but they should have been more prepared for the rush since this happens every year. First off the lobby was filthy… the trash can was overloaded with garbage, the floor was sticky and the drink station was even worse and they were out of ice and had no intentions of refilling it. The cashiers were all complaining about how busy it was and how they couldn’t wait to get home. The food was no better… everything I ordered was cold!

From the moment we entered, my family was welcomed sincerely. Ms. Pat was the dining room hostess and helped us with all of our needs. I’ve never really had ‘needs’ at a Whatburger before but, Ms. Pat fulfilled every one of them. She made sure my kids had the butter, jelly, and ketchup they needed. Will return to this location ok every future Galveston visit.

Throwing my $ 16 lunch away because employees don’t know how to read tickets. Ordered extra barbeque sauce and got none. You had one job.

I’m a fan of the yummy burger. It’s simple good and tastes like real meat. The customer service was very carefree, and the folks were friendly. The part that made it difficult was the place was Out of napkins Out of most soda Out of ketchup Really why did you open for business today? But I’m glad you did because I was hungry. ha ha

PATHETICSERVICE. I love Whataburger and always look forward to having it when I come back to Texas. This location, however, is AWFUL. We waited 30 minutes for our very simple order, and when we asked what was going on, the servers were less than friendly. Instead of searching for the tables to which the food belonged, servers just yelled the numbers out, getting frustrated when people didn’t seek them out. I have been to Whataburgers will exceptional service, and this experience was thoroughly disappointing. We weren’t the only ones that felt this way today!

I love their chicken strips with gravy! The staff is friendly and fast. They are constantly making sure everything is okay. Their apple pies are the best apple pies I’ve tasted for a fast food restaurant.

I love this place, and their fries are better than McDonald’s. Same shoe string style but for some reason better. Maybe I’m just burnt out on fagdonalds but regardless I LOVE whataburger! Even a plain burger is good. Some other dipsh! t called this place what a waste! go back to your homeland and tell me that food is better you spoiled ungrateful p.o.s.

I’m always determined to try one regional fast food joint when I visit a new place, don’t ask, and Houston called for Whataburger. — I ordered The Whataburger and added onions and bacon. It was weird. — The only condiment they place on the burger is mustard. Too much mustard. — My friend ordered a shake but the counter forgot to make it because it got busy right after we ordered. Then she got it right before we left, it tasted like a malt. — Service was friendly, they bring your order to your table. — I had to ask for Ketchup, no packages or mayo in site. — Sad fries. Nice staff but it was basically Wendy’s level food with only mustard. Whatawaste.

A place where good people serve good food to good people. I like that they offer many different burgers year round. The soda is good. The French fries smell and taste delicious. They are also very generous with their ketchup.

Super delish! This place really does live up to it’s name…“what a burger!” Kinda reminded me of Burger King for some reason but on a whole other level. The burgers here are big! I got the whataburger burger and it was way bigger than the typical average sandwich. My brother wanted the whataburger jr burger and it was the perfect size. Burgers here don’t taste like the typical fake meat patties but it has that homemade feel.
