Exactly what I was looking for as breakfast in Galveston. Good service, delicious food, enormous, fresh tortillas. The beans were fantastic and my husband was able to order his omlette with egg whites only. A great stop and we’ll be back next time we are in town. Thanks, Los Primos!

Just a heads up with anyone with a Service Dog. They are not friendly to people with disabilities using a Service Dog! Even after all explanations able access with Service dogs and showing them ADA print outs they were very rude. We did finally get to eat at the restaurant but it was definitely not an enjoyable experience. I actually had customers come to my table as they were leaving and tell me they were sorry I had to endure all that drama.

Ordered chorizo and egg and chicharron tacos. Salsa verde is spicy and good! Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because its pretty small and very busy so it can get crowded. Otherwise a great authentic spot!

Los Primos was a little expensive. About 8.00 a plate and 3.00 for tea. The atmosphere was very hole in the wall and the food was about average. I’m sorry but would not stop again. For the food the price was a bit high.

This place is awesome! 7 tables, very clean — outside does look a bit dodgy if you’re a sissy tourist. But don’t be a sissy — the food is the best I’ve tasted. I had the fajitas and she had the beef enchiladas. We were both speaking Spanish fluently before the meal was finished. Drag your sister-in-law for a great authentic meal. Salsa carbon with the chips is incredibly tasty! Also can’t beat the price; would have paid double for this food! Correct address is on posted business card.

Primo’s is an authentic Mexican café/taqueria AND it’s really close to my home! The breakfast menu is pretty extensive, including my favorite, Huevos con Machacado. My husband had one of their breakfast burritos and was impressed by the gigantic size and homemade-tasting flour tortilla. My corn tortillas were the typical store bought kind found in most places, but the Machacado had just the right chewy texture, with the perfect ratio of eggs, peppers, and onions. The refried beans are great– loaded with lard! The potatoes weren’t crispy, but very tender and perfect to offset the heat from the excellent salsa verde. It’s not for the faint of heart! Most of the clientele are Hispanic, so the staff are not super proficient in English. We speak Spanish, so not a problem. However, the food is good enough that I wouldn’t stay away if I only spoke English. The only disappointment was the tamarindo agua fresca — too sweet for our taste. Prices are very reasonable. Most breakfast plates cost around $ 5.75. They are now open evenings as well as breakfast and lunch. We can’t wait to go back for some barbacoa!

Stopped in for breakfast. The lady who took our order didn’t really speak English, and after some effort and confirming, she still got the order wrong. To make matters worse, food took a while to come out and it was lukewarm when it did. I get it is a mom and pop establishment, but execution leaves a lot to be desired. Food was ok, but not memorable.

The food is excellent! You must try the Super Tacos, beef fajita. chorizo, bacon, onion, cheese, cilantro and avocado. The flavor is amazing.

The address correction previously mentioned is correct. 6705 Stewart The food was great and very authentic, it was very clean inside as well. There are only 7 tables and it looks like more locals eat here than tourists. Get in there and eat!

Hijo de su… want to know what a REAL«Hole-in-the-Wall» looks like? right here homey — keep driving if you scared, rewards await for those who do not judge based on lackluster exteriors(and interiors) the classic Galveston identification of bigger-than-average-you-wish-you-could-find-these-homemade-flour-tortillas-in-your-hometown is authenticated here; order consisted of huevos con jamon para los nenes, un platillo de carne guisada y un burrote de chicharron que le parte la madre a cualquier«chipotle» o whatever y que estaba mas picoso que la ch! n*@d@ YUM best carne guisada we tasted on the island FERREAL no brainer — will be a regular stop for me when on the island!!!

The address on Unilocal is incorrect. It’s actually at 6705 Stewart. When we drove past sister-in-law said«no way» because outside it needs some paint and parking lot work. I insisted based on the 5 star review on Unilocal and everyone was very satisfied and complimentary. My only reservation was the under cooked potatoes. Everyone else, the other 3, liked them but I like my crispy and well cooked. The wife had quesadillas while the rest had breakfast. She said the tortillas were crispy with tender chicken inside. They served a good green sauce, no red sauce offered but it wasn’t necessary the green sauce was great.
