CiCi’s Pizza

Me and my daughter went there for her birthday. we had a coupon that wus for a child free meal and the manager sad no like a Butt-​Head. O And the manager took 20 minutes while he was on the phone not even trying to talk us. He was a jerk! This was the only Cici’s Pizza that we walked away from.

Just gross! The pizza looks like it’s been sitting out for hours. The place is FILTHY. Save yourself a trip.

I knew what I was getting myself into when I walked into this place. I wasn’t expecting gourmet pizzas or any service because it’s cici’s which is fine by me. But when you are literally one bite away from eating a dead fly on the cinnamon rolls (which is the best item there) you bet your ass I got up and left and will never return. You might think it’s a one time thing but I saw at least 5 – 6 flies in there so I’m not taking my chances. So for now on I’ll take my business to Papas because that place is pretty clean and better pizzas. Trust me I have never written a review, this is my first so just beware of those mechanical vectors!

Didn’t care for this CiCi’s too much at all. Seem like they were short staffed and could never keep enough pizza on the buffet. The tables stayed dirty way too long and the black guy with the glasses and braids who took my order was just aloof and act like he didn’t want to be there. I even saw him sling a pizza on the buffet line almost tossing it on the floor. You can tell he only there for a paycheck. This whole establishment needs to do better.

Just like any other cici’s pizza I’ve been to. It was nice. The restaurant looked clean. They didn’t run out of food or anything. The pizza was pretty decent. The salad bar was great. I just am not w fan of those small little cups they gave us. The people were actually friendly especially the manager. I would come back for sure.

Service is horrible. Food is worse. Some vegetables are in the back, so every time you want some you have to ask. It’s a buffet people! Get it together.
This places gets one star, because without one I can’t post it.

3 pizzas and cinnamon rolls to go. they were kinda slow making our pizzas, and it was just okay. We asked for cheese and hot pepper flakes to go and the lady was mad that we had asked. She went into the back and got two to go boxes and had pours a little in them and handed them to us. I thought that was kinda odd. I didn’t wanna use them considering she was mad and went into the back with our stuff. Hmm. First, don’t be mad for a customer asking for your product. Second don’t go to the back and throw some in a to go box. Just say you’re out. Especially if your going to be rude about it!

This place is just nasty. Don’t expect a good tasting meal in here. Yes, is a cheap buffet but cleanliness should be priority one. The lady cleaning the tables used the same towel to clean the cheese containers without even rinsing it out.

The posts already are very accurate. I went here about 2 weekends ago. It is gross and that starts with the manager lady. I have never seen her wash her hands. She barks commands and she does not follow CiCi’s procedures which she supposedly was trained in. I notice on my trip that they use the same rag to clean off the counter where they cut pizzas as they do for getting the hot pans out of the oven to wiping the area around the salad items to wiping the area around the buffet pizza area. You charge enough to be able to afford rags! They also have non worker people go in the kitchen– well, I can only assume that people with hiked up shorts and a floral shirt would not be the uniform. And I saw another person go in the back and he did not have a uniform on either. I did write the headquarters about these things and other gross things. Guess they do not care either. The lady that cuts the pizzas I saw her touch the pizza when she was trying to put it in another pan. She had also handled that dirty rag. When they finish with the dirty pans that put them in a bin in front of the pizza oven on the floor and reuse them.
Does Galveston have a health department? I think I would rather eat off the floor at home than eat here. The least you could do is clean you place up so that when the summer months come you can provide our tourist with clean food.
Totally disgusting. I plan to write your headquarters AGAIN!

The pizza had been out for a while, and the cinnamon rolls were hard. I brought my daughter to the restroom after we had eaten and there was someone in one of the stalls. My daughter and I both had time to use the restroom and as I was washing my hands the person who happened to be an employee came out of the stall and walked right out the door without washing her hands. I followed her out thinking that maybe she would wash her hands in the kitchen… Nope, I watched her go directly to the make table and start making pizzas again. Too gross for me, I won’t be back.

My daughter and I went here for lunch. The buffet wasn’t very well stocked, and it was dirty. I was appalled that the guy washing the windows came in, took food off of the buffet (w/​o washing his hands), then went outside to share it with his dog. Gross.

How good is CiCi’s? It depends on your expectations.
If you want a very tasty pizza at a good price. .. if you want a gastronomic experience that you will remember every time you come to Galveston. .. then don’t go here.
If you want to fill up on pizza but don’t have much dinero. .. if you want to hang out with friends over okay food. .. then this fits the bill.
It’s got the usual suspects — pepperoni, sausage, ham & pineapple — and a few unusual tastes that don’t really score well — mac & cheese, apple streudel. Salad bar, too. It’s a step up from Little Caesar’s. But then, just about everything is a step up from Little Caesar’s. Location: close enough to the beach, but off the tourist path.
So basically, CiCi’s is doable, but you can easily do better.
