Inedible. We were driving though on interstate 40 and stopped in Gallup for a break. My boyfriend was tired and impatient so decided we’d eat at the first place around we saw — this was Maria’s. We ordered a to-​go burrito, breakfast sandwich, and egg. It’s pretty rare I won’t eat, or at least try, ordered food but this was nasty. The restaurant itself had a stale and dusty smell to it and the to go containers were covered in black crumbs/​dust. The food was hideous (burrito was like a flat pancake with 2 tbsp of filling) one look at the food and I decided I wasn’t eating it. Positive? It was under 10, so the place is cheap. But this was a case of you get what you pay for.

A friend told me they have good breakfast burritos here, so I gave it a try. He was right on — the burrito was great! Full strips of crispy bacon with egg and chili and rice and potatoes and yum! One note, the green chili is hot! I got «christmas» (red and green) and it was still pretty spicy. I’ll opt for red chili next time.

Delicious breakfast burrito and a wonderful person! The bacon breakfast burrito with red chile was perfection! Definitely stopping there every trip to Gallup!

Absolutely one of the most disgusting restaurants I have ever been in. First of all the bathroom was filthy and you have to walk clear through their storage room to get there. Their menus look like they haven’t been updated since the 80s. They were falling apart and extremely dirty with old food and dirty finger prints. Apparently they only have one high chair… And of course one of the workers asked if they could use it for another child. I replyed «no, my child is using it.» How rude was that? The waitress was extremely rude to me inparticular for no apparent reason. Trust me, I was being very polite under the circumstances. Don’t get me started on the food. Let’s just say I took one bite of mine and my husband ate all of his but was up all night throwing up with diarreah.
