The food used to be great at this restaurant. Since it is under new ownership, most of the dishes taste the same and are fairly bland.

Disgusting. My bad for not looking at the actual buffet before sitting down and deciding to fork over money for this garbage. Only one veggie dish on the whole buffet: limp bean sprouts. Everything else is meat and/or deep fried. The egg rolls were a dark yellow like the oil had never been cleaned out of the deep fryer. No white rice on whole buffet, only fried rice with egg. Sorry vegans. A sad, lackluster place place with bad food and a drab looking interior. Zombie high school students roam around the parking lot while you eat. Totally avoid.

Never coming back here again after tonight. Lady was so rude when we asked for rice with our meal. She never put it in the order so we get home and we notice that there was no white rice. So I call and ask her about the rice and tell her to have it ready because we’re coming back to get it. And she said I made a mistake because we never asked for rice. 1. We did 2. This is the first time this restaurant told us we had to pay separate for rice. 3. We been coming there for like 20 years and rice was always included as well as a friendly customer service experience. I may sound like I’m making a big deal about rice but it’s not about that it’s the fact she told me I was wrong I never asked for rice, and she was so rude. I was so fed up with her attitude I hung up with how rude she was. She wanted to charge us $ 15 for rice?! Wtf. I just bought $ 50 bucks worth of food. The new management sucks. Stay away… Just go to Panda Express at least ull get decent customer service… And rice included, like every other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been too!

Dim sum review only: I was really curious by the banner that said«We serve dim sum» especially since there aren’t too many places in the Brea area that have casual dim sum versus going to some fancy and expensive restaurant. so don’t get excited because while they do have har gow and siu mai, its similar to the frozen mini kinds you get at ranch 99 or cheap dumplings at a quickly. Not trying to say they are selling frozen dumplings here but the filling is not very good. Siu mai contains shrimp but the rest is either chestnut or veggie, at least its not flour. hargow casing is not bad but you barely get any shrimp filling. Each order comes with 6. I got two orders which came out to $ 8.pretty pricey for the quality. Meh just drive a little further to city westminster or rowland heights if you want casual dim sum.

Their lunch buffet is delicious, and super cheap. I don’t care if its not authentic, it is DELICIOUS and CHEAP and UNLIMITED. Get yourself a water cup, and you have a great college kid lunch. I will say, their dinner specials are not that good of a value. bottom line, COMEHERE, but only for the lunch buffet. If they got rid of that, I would not return. However, I come here at least twice a month because of that.

In a nutshell… Always messing up my orders, way overpriced for what it is, and frankly, you can get better tasting Chinese food at Panda Express.

Terrible food! You’re better off going to Panda Express. Ordered delivery and food showed up cold and tasted bad. My entire order was left mainly untouched and my appetite was ruined. Fried rice, egg flower soup, veggies, and orange chicken were all very unappetizing.

Want to get ripped off … You came to the right place. Ordered food on May 21 … using their menu. Our estimate was that we had bought $ 23 worth of food. I gave my wife $ 30. She came back from picking it up and said the cost was $ 36! I asked for the receipt. She said the server took it back from her and did not give her a receipt. I called and they said«You paid cash and we do not have receipt for cash customers» … Does this sound right? Not only that but we got more food than we ordered and one was a complete mystery. This is the second time ordering from this place. NEVERAGAIN. BEWARETHESEFOLKSARECROOKS. When I called the person talking to me hung up the phone on me saying nothing he can do for us.

We’ve been coming here for years. Their lunch buffet is great. The egg drop soup is delicious and a favorite. Their garlic chicken is also hard to beat. The dinner prices have gone up lately, but if you get the two person special, it’s reasonable. We always get the Szechwan shrimp which has an awesome flavor and it’s always good quality.

HORRIBLE Just Horrible. Ordered online and waited an extra 30 minutes after delivery time. Decided to call them to see what’s going on with the order. Turns out those confirmation e-mails were baloney and order was never placed. I was trying to order lunch at work for my co-workers and now we’re HANGRY. haha.

Rice NOT included?!? Ordered Sesame n Orange Peel Chicken through GrubHub on Apple TV. We got the order relatively quick n it was hot but there was no rice. Called China Bistro n she said we had to order that separate. What?!? A Chinese food meal that doesn’t come w white rice!!! We told her that was unheard of and that there was nowhere that said we had to order rice or add it on to the meal on the app. She said she’d talk to the manager n hung up on us. Called back, requested that she have rice delivered, she said she’d talk to the manager n hung up on us. Called back, asked her to deliver rice n she said she would. 30 minutes later called back n they didn’t answer for several rings(I’m sure by this time she recognized the number) n said they weren’t delivering rice bc they got busy. Made rice we had at home n tried to eat what was delivered which was over-cooked, tasteless, soggy, chicken. WASTEOFMONEY N TIME!!! I ended up eating popcorn. My recommendation, get a frozen PF Changs meal from the grocery store to have on hand. We had it the night after n it was WAY better than this garbage. BTW, GrubHub is giving us some coupons for our trouble.

Just say no. Don’t eat here. It’s not worth the money. I can’t believe we bought $ 50 of this culinary snooze-fest. Trader Joe’s has better Chinese food. The food we ordered was barely edible. The beef was charred fat pieces. The chicken was wallowing in a flavorless sauce. The shrimp was sketchy tasting. Everything was so bland we couldn’t tell things apart. My dog didn’t even want to eat this dreck. No white rice with meals??? Are you freaking kidding me? The tastiest part of the meal? The fortune cookie. I’m not even kidding.

Do you really want to eat here!!! Take one look at the bathroom pictures I’ve posted and that tells it ALL! I COMPLETELY lost my appetite! Can you even wrap your brain around what the kitchen must look like!!! GAG! P. S. I would have posted a minus 5000 stars if I had the option!

This is a decent chinese buffet style restaurant as far as decent chinese buffet style restaurants go; the vegetables were cold, the meat was probably not from the animals I thought it was from and the décor was similar to the poker room of a roadside casino. Other than that it was fairly standard for its type. The owners seemed to be nice.

Just ordered delivery and scarfed down some food real quick and was inspired to write a review before I forgot… I must say two things; delicious food and an extremely patient driver! After two work outs today I was not in the mood to cook and thank goodness for quick and easy delivery! It is refreshing to have an option for delivery that isn’t just Pizza Hut or Dominos. To my driver: I appreciate your patience in finding the closest entrance to my apartment so that I did not have to walk in the freezing cold to find you! Thank you so much! The bean curd is awesome, I can’t wait to try all the different flavor styles you offer! Thank you thank you thank you! :)

If I could give this place no stars I would! It absolutely disgusting. The food on the buffet side was cold, we had to ask 3 times for water because each time they would only bring one water for whoever asked, and the shrimp…(just stay away from that)! The service was horrible and the food was sketchy and gross. Will not be coming here again

This review is for the Buffet only. Rating is weighted for price and type of meal. It’s hard to beat the food provided for the price — $ 6.99. Iced tea is only another dollar. With tax it comes out to $ 9.20. Food is about what you would expect for the price, but there is generally plenty. Chicken wings and egg rolls are hot and crispy. Pot stickers, lots of dough but good meat inside. They will bring you hot and sour soup if you ask. As for the rest, I hardly notice. Fried rice barely qualifies for that, I didn’t spot any meat in it but then for me it’s only a small side dish. Broccoli in the beef with broccoli is good, my one sop to healthiness when I go there. There are a variety of chicken dishes which I can barely tell apart. One of them, with celery, is tender and worth getting. The others, maybe someone else would like them. But I’m fine with my faves. Only caveat is to get there early. If you arrive much after 1PM they will not refill items that run out. Today I went at 1:10PM looking for my usual feast of chicken wings only to pick up the last three available. They did not refill even though the close time is 2:30. There was plenty of other foods and I understand the need to keep prices down. Still, when it is over an hour to close time, I would think they would at least do a small batch.

This place offers a very budget friendly buffet for under 7 $ The food is adequate for that price. Beef Broccoli is really good! Potstickers are doughy but pretty good tasting filling. I’d rate higher if the service was better, we had a lady basically scold us about inadequate tip? I would understand if not in a buffet environment, but tip is REALLY at customer discretion when dining buffet style. Our tip was nothing to scoff at but they would rather lose customers permanently over a few pennies. It’s too bad.

This review is for Eat24 delivery only. Min is $ 15 for delivery and I usually order $ 24 worth of food, but this last time I got ripped off. I ordered Chinese BBQ pork which is like $ 8 but they messed up on the order because I got egg rolls :(! This was my third time ordering delivery and I always tip. I think it’s like a $ 4 difference but I really was expecting BBQ pork. I did order at 9pm and their closing time is at 9:30 so I’m not sure, maybe they did it on purpose? What I like about this place is they deliver because when it’s cold outside and you’re craving some warm food without having to cook or go outside, they’ll deliver it to your door. I think their food isn’t always consistent and they have a lot of MSG so make sure you have water with you.
