Carl’s Jr.

I’m only giving 2 stars because my fried zucchini was hot. But my chicken tenders were rubbery and salty. I ate one out of 3 pieces. It was disgusting. They weren’t even fresh even though that’s what their sign boasts. Got a cup full of ice with my soda. I thought I’d give them a shot considering I do not go out of my way to eat at carls Jr’s. The food is overpriced and not worth it. Throwing the disgusting, rubbery chicken away. Thanks for the zucchini.

So I have a real soft spot for elderly people. Thus when I see them being mistreated I take issue with the individual engaging in the mistreatment. Herein lies my problem with the expirience that I had at this riverpark Carl’s Jr.
My mother and I stopped by this location on Sept 13 around 11. The manager was working the cash register, two girls were on break and another elderly man was helping with various duties. I immediately noticed that the elderly man seemed to have more difficulty getting around than the rest of the staff yet he was the one that would have to walk around, cleaning the tables and giving the guest their orders.
Normally, this would have only bothered me a little because the man seemed happy to be working. But two times during this visit I heard the manager yell at this elderly man because he did not hear the first time that he barked orders at him. The manager did this in front of an entire restaurant of people. The manager was also dismissive of this employee shooing him at least three times and taking a tone of annoyance when the man had a question. Frankly, I was offended at the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the manager and at the ill-​treatment of this employee trying to make a living. If this were any employee being subjected this sort of treatment I would STILL be writing this review regardless of the employees age.
On top of the unprofessional behavior and mistreatment of the employees the food was terrible. I never go to a fast food joint thinking that my food will be healthy (I’m not delusional afterall) but my meal must have been marinated in oil. There was grease on the bag, grease all over the food wrappers and food it self. My meal was lukewarm and horrendous. I likely will not be back to this location again

This is the worst experience at any Carls Jr I’ve ever had. My family’s order was totally incorrect. Four people and 4 incorrect items. My. Step mother ordered a Six-​Dollar low carb burger she got a regular Six-​Dollar burger, I ordered a Six Dollar Western and got a regular Six Dollar burger, my son ordered a Western Bacon w/​o bbq sauce got it with the bbq sauce, my dad ordered a combo meal sub the fries for crisscut fries and he got regular fries.
I’ve never had such a botched order at a Carl’s Jr. anywhere, and I’ve been to many Carl’s across our beautiful country.

Today I decided to try the Beer Battered Cod Fish, oops bad idea! Man, how do you miss up a fish sandwich? It’s bread, tarter sauce and a piece of Cod fish and charge $ 9 for a combo?! Carl please stick to hamburgers and chicken, fish is obviously not your strength.
Other than that this Carl’s Jr is fast on both the drive thru and dine in. It does get really packed about noon but no biggie. I have never had a bad experience here and will continue to eat my favorite burgers — Western Bacon, Famous Star, Teriyaki Turkey Burger and Chicken Santa Fe; yum!

I tried this franchise a couple years ago and had been avoiding it since because of an overcooked burger. I tried it again today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised.
The food was good. The staff were mostly older and very friendly. The dining area was spotless.

I tried the cod fish sandwich. I am not a big fast food person. I feel for advertising. Ugh… all bread, greasy and bland taste. Fries and onion rings too done. only good thing was service, staff and clean. Never again.

I went in here (through the drive through) about a week ago and almost forgot to write my review. Customer service here was amazing and food was great. Even served me breakfast a few minutes (5) after the time which was a big deal to me since I drove out of my way to get to this one. Happy here as always. Thank you

Errands at Target during lunch time often lead me to grabbing some quick food at Carl’s Jr. It’s not the greatest Carl’s Jr. out there, but it’s far from the worst. I almost always eat in the dining room, and the food is usually brought out fairly quickly and it tastes fairly fresh. My only real complaint is that on most days there’s only one person working the front register, so during the lunch rush the line can get a little long.

My work is close by and I usually come eat inside on my lunches. All the times I’ve came have been pretty pleasant. Food always tastes surprisingly fresh. Only complaint are the restrooms. Other than that it’s pretty clean. The managers always look pretty pissed off. Which is kind of annoying. They treat this older man who works there (he’s a dark skin) pretty trashy.

Came for coffee. Pump isn’t working for regular. Literally stood there for 5 minutes pumping away just to get ½ a cup. The worker just says «yeah, you’ll be there a while» not cool. I was trying to avoid the line at any other coffee shop. I should have just made coffee at home…

Never had a Problem until today, do not want to come back, my food was soggy, the sauce didn’t taste the same and Manager Omar made me feel uncomfortable.

Never had a problem with this place which is good they always seem to make my breakfast burrito bigger here then the other places which is good. The staff is nice and the food is always made hot and so good.

I only went for the Cod fish sandwich cause you know the girl is HOT! But the sandwich was a little dry and flavorless and there was no one even close to hot! (well besides me of course!!! LOL)

Here at 9:25pm. Pretty dead and service is slow, kind of a bummer. Ordered the Big Carl combo, still waiting…

Continued… The big Carl was sort of sloppy but delicious, fries were hot and employees did their jobs professionally.

This is the only location that does not mess up your order. Good food + no screw-​ups = 4 stars.

I ordered two combos and a spicy chicken sandwich in the drive thru and when I got home the spicy wasn’t there. I called and got Alex, the manager. Alex, in short, is a moron. He said to come back for a «free» spicy chicken. I told him it wasn’t free since I already paid for it, and it certainly wasn’t free now that I had to drive an extra four miles to get it, especially after the drive thru lady had assured me «everything is in the bag». Alex was not intelligent enough to grasp this concept and again told me to drive back for a «free» spicy chicken sandwich. What a jerk.

They seem to remodel this Carl’s Jr every few years. When coming in during the morning, the food it always hot in temperature (whether I get breakfast burrito or burger). It is hit or miss at lunch time or afternoon as to hot temperature.
I have noticed in the morning they have a janitor who pressure washes the outside of the building and the drive through. So whomever owns this location seems to care about appearance and cleanliness more than other locations.
The Big Carl, The Original Six Dollar Burger, and Santa Fe Chicken are probably the best burgers on the menu (in my opinion).

Blech.
All I will say is that I worked at a Carl’s Jr in Clovis during high school, and I will NEVER eat here again. I am very familiar with their policies as well as the health departments basic policies… and this Carl’s Jr is GROSSLY neglegent to these policies. Let’s just say that at 1:30am, my chicken sandwich had been sitting in the holding pan so long that the cheese wasn’t even melted. My zucchini was hotter (after 2min 30sec in the fryer) than my sandwich (4min in the fryer), by the time I got home.
