Sushi cravings hit hard so I decided to hit up the closest sushi place. You’ll notice right away that the employees are very polite and they actually care about customer service. While I was waiting for my to-go order they gave me these Shrimp chips to snack on and some water. I had the most unique sushi roll here and it tasted phenomenal. I forgot what it was called but it had lemon sauce on top. I can’t wait to go back and get it again. There are so many other rolls I want to try here though. Prices are what you’d expect for rolls. I usually order ahead so they have it ready when you get there but if you’d rather order there and snack on some complimentary Shrimp chips then that’s cool too. Ahh I can’t wait to come here again soon!

I used to come here when I was in high school when it was just your standard Chinese food place. Since they have been transitioning with new ownership, it has gotten way better! The girl who runs the register is very nice. The prices are reasonable, especially for all you get. I was surprised when we got a side of miso and coleslaw. My «small» portion of Hot and Sour Soup was HUGE. I had to take it home with me. The Rainbow Roll was yummy and plentiful. They have some happy hour prices for rolls after 7 p.m. Overall, very delicious and well worth it. I’ll be adding it back to my regular eating spots

CALLAHEAD if it is to go. I had a craving for edamame and remembered that this place was right around the corner from my work so I decided to walk in and get a side to go of edamame. Well they make things fresh so you need to make sure to call or you will be there waiting for a while. The edamame was delicious, the facilities are very clean, and the staff was very nice. I am definitely going to call ahead and try some of the sushi rolls; they looked so tasty!

I think I died when I ate here! I got food poisoning soooo bad … I literally felt like I was dying. I had to take 2 days off work and recover over the weekend. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

I tried it here for the first time after reading on Unilocal!about their great crunchy roll, which is essentially the only sushi roll I eat LOL. To my surprise, for a place that considers themselves to be an «express sushi» eatery, it was so delicious! The rice was fresh, the crunchy shrimp was AMAZING. However, I came during lunch hour and there was lady who was at the register and one chef, so I had to wait for almost 20 minutes for my roll ;(. This place is still really amazing to try and I would definitely come back! By the way, the plaza for this area is SUPERSMALL, don’t be surprised have to park by the gas station next to the plaza.

A mom and pop shop. My first time here after their«grand re-opening» and hmm I was satisfied. I couldn’t be more charmed, this place is close by has good food and it’s fair with the prices they offer. They have chinese food ready to go but the sushi chef is on the other side ready to slice up some saschimi and make some rolls. I had the sushi here and like I said I was satisfied. I wasn’t wowed but hey you get your moneys worth. This place keeps the prices low I just dont think they get enough business to have fresh sushi on a regular basis. I’d swing by this place again no doubt, they’ve got a ton of variety of sushi && the service was great. :D

The food overall was disappointing. We tried the orange chicken, mushroom chicken, beef/broccoli, chow mein, fried rice, and a crunch roll. The food was not very good. I would rather drive down the street and eat at Lucky Chinese fast food. Not worth a visit.

I used to come here back in my high school days haha especially before I had a car! That is somewhat ironic because my go-to chinese take-out is even closer to my house… ahaha Anyway! Sushi, good! Chinese food, good! Prices good! The people at the register know a decent amount of English, Check! No bugs, Check! Fortune Cookie, Check! Great for a quick lunch or even dinner… just give them a call ahead of time and see if they can make you a fresh batch of food ^_^ Enjoy!

A small place but it offers good chinese food and sushi. I’m not a big fan of their chinese food because I know there’s MSG in it. Tastes decent if you are just looking to fulfill your chinese cravings. Their sushi, on the other hand has always been pretty good for a hole in the wall. I especially like their crunchy roll with either shrimp or salmon(but both I’m slightly allergic to), the california roll, and the alaska roll. Pretty good quality. I always go back from time to time for these rolls, since it’s pretty good and cheap. Call ahead so you can have a speedy pick up! But beware, sometimes the workers are hard to understand because they have a thick accent!

Yes. This place DOESUSEMSG!!! That’s why their food tastes so good as most Chinese restaurants use MSG, like it or not. Too much MSG is bad for us… but once in a while if you crave a lil Chinese Fast Food… it’s okay. and this place serves just that. A quick fix to your inner Chinese Food craving or just plain hunger. But I do NOT recommend eating here on a daily basis because not good for your health in long run! Their sushi is ALRIGHT. It could be better, in terms of quality of the fish. It does the job though if you are just wanting some sushi at a random hour of the day. Regardless of the MSG and ok sushi. I still like this place for that once in a while need for Chinese food.

I was just recently informed that this place has changed owners. A Korean couple has replaced the previous Chinese-from-France couple. I’ve just gotten hired as cashier here, and i learned about the background. There are 3 chefs — the main chef, Ping, is Chinese and has been cooking for the place for 5−6ish years, a new guy named«Hobby», a Mexican is the second chef has been around for a month or so, and the third(co owner/the husband) is Tony. Well, after working here my 2nd day, i realized how friendly these people are, especially Hobby and Ping. Even though they can hardly speak English, they are always friendly, fun, and willing to help. The 3 guys work hard and consistently insist that i pile up more food to the customers :) The food is actually better than i thought from before; even though my dad was discouraged by this place’s new prices, he’s started to like it again. the crunchy roll is about 5 bucks, which is honestly a good deal, especially since the pieces are large. out of all the sushi, the california roll + crunchy roll are the best priced. and to that reviewer who got disgusted by MSG — it’s pretty rude to walk in, order food, and leave because it has msg. they should’ve expected this place to have MSG… prob 90% of all the asian takeouts/restaurants use MSG. that’s partially what makes it fricken good! like they say, unhealthy foods TASTEGOOD! anyway, i realy like the orange spicy chicken as a unique/change from the typical orange chicken. it starts out sweet like a nostalgic childhood favorite, then bam– the little spice kick. the char siu/bbq pork was a bit too salty for me… but the teriyaki chicken was nice chewy and tender. i’ve like all the rolls, but i’m too poor to buy the monster caterpillar/special ones again. out of everythign, i felt the most ripped off by the eel bowl… overall, this place is a nice take out place that’s conveniently located near the 405 :) it replaced a nostalgic chinese take out that will always have a spot in my heart, Queen’s Kitchen… but i will still respect & continue coming here!”

I was a bit wary about this place when I first heard of it because it looked like a hole in the wall chinese food place — and those could go either way. The menu and the decorations were eh and made me wonder about the quality of the food… i guess you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. the chow mein was good and the noodles were perfect. the orange chicken was the same — not too chewy or crispy. They also had a sushi menu there and my expectations were low, but once I had the crunchy roll and the california roll, I was convinced. This place is definitely not a great sushi restaurant — I don’t think i’d get nigiri or anything like that, but for plain, cooked sushi, i’m there. This place is perfect for when you’re craving chinese food or sushi — it’s quick and tastes good, and most of all, the prices are nice and low.

I and my co-workers work across the street and default here whenever someone in the department has a hankering for Chinese food. All I can say is… so much fried stuff, but so good. I’m a fan of their fried fish fillet with rice or chow mein. Occasionally, I’ll opt for a tempura roll, which is okay. I recommend sticking with the Chinese fare here though. The service is fast and they actually accept credit cards! The owners are also pretty nice and tend to remember faces of regulars. They also take orders over the phone so when I or my co-workers make a call to place a to-go order, they’re probably confident that we’re going to actually pick up on the time we say we need the food by. They actually are pretty good when it comes to catering and will make up huge batches of fried rice or chow mein if the occasion calls for it. Give this place a try and you’ll come out just smelling like the oil they use to fry the rice! Yum!

This place is horrible. I got a sushi and a chow mein. the sushi was chewy using(probably) low grade fish. The sushi rice was a bit sour. The chow mein was salty and soggy. I think it was overcooked. I had high hopes for it when I saw the menu but was completely disappointed after I got the food.
