This truly is a great place for breakfast. We are here once a week and have never had a complaint. And I must say, they are fast! Within minutes of placing your order the food is out, fresh and hot! Rose is the best server. Every time we go in, she’s our server. She knows our names and makes us feel at home!

The hubby and I were getting to be regulars here. The food is good(breakfast, and also their mushroom/Swiss burgers). Waitresses are very friendly and the food flies out of the kitchen. Sadly I’ve found hairs in my food twice though. The first time, I figured it was just one of those things and gave them the benefit of a doubt. The 2nd time it happened… I just can’t bring myself to eat there anymore. Too bad… their cinnamon toast is AMAZING. Need to invest in a simple hairnet.

I been going to this place for 8yrs and by far the best place to eat breakfast, my favorite is the egg, bell pepper and sausage omlett with fresh biscuit and gravy. The staff is friendly and everyone knows each other by name, you dont get service like that now days… Its very rare! This will always be my spot!

I give this 5 stars because they have the best french toast I have ever tasted. My waitress is always excellent and very friendly and because I go there so often she already has my order almost ready it is hot and good and the restaurant itself is very clean

My family has been going to Rise and Shine for years. Our favorite waitress, Sarah, recently left, so that was sad. She was phenomenal! The homemade bread is amazing, and the pancakes are always a great choice. I enjoy that it is local, because supporting local business is very important. The service is fast, and the people are caring.

Good local breakfast place specializing in omlettes. Cheap and plentiful food. More of a local dive but the service is friendly and quick. Standard breakfast food but I think their omlettes are best thing they have.

So sorry to say this was not a great experience for the Possums. Possums will eat almost anything, but we left our plates unfinished. The Good: The biscuits(fluffy), the sausage patty(tasty), the grits(passably creamy). Service was friendly. The Bad: The scrambled eggs(dry and off-flavor). The Jr. High pre-formed imitation chicken fried steak. Bathrooms were not up to snuff. The Ugly: The«country potatoes»(weirdly grilled left-over baked potatoes with no sign of onions or peppers), the skuzzy plastic glasses, the margarine balls, the off-brand catsup in the Heinz bottles. Evidently, they have quite a few regular patrons, so I don’t want to be totally unfair, but honestly I could not recommend this joint when there are other breakfast places nearby.

Fastest food I ever seen come to the table. Eggs over easy cant even cook that fast. Decent breakfast but not that great. Lots of customers and I dont know why, must be the fast service of food.

This place is great for breakfast. I have been on both Saturday and Sunday mornings when it is busy and it is large enough that I have never had to wait to be seated. The food is good and the prices are cheap. Staff is friendly and service is fast.
