International House of Pancakes

My family & I always ask for Alicia. Love her, she’s great! We go so often she knows our order by heart.

This place somehow has long waits even when it is nearly empty, and everything is always a little sticky. I just sat down and was never even served food (hour long wait for an omelette). When I got up there was a sticky splotch of syrup on my dress from where a previous diner spilt and no one cleaned it up.
I complained to the management about that and the long wait. Their response «Well, what do you want me to do about it?» Maybe your job? I know novel idea!

.food was cold, found a black hair in my wife’s plate. waiter said it wasn’t there when he brought the food and walked off, never came back. kinda weird my wife’s hair is blonde and i’m bald. never going back, place sucks! !!!

30 minutes to get 3 pancakes, eggs and hashbrowns. The restaurant wasn’t busy, maybe 6 tables had people. Then the food arrived cold. So cold the butter didn’t melt at all on the pancakes. No syrup was brought with the pancakes. Waitress just disappeared. Waited 20 minutes at least for them to bring the ticket to pay. No refill of drinks was offered either, even though our glasses were completely empty.. Wait staff was also playing on their phones.

I’ve eaten at IHoPs across the U.S. and Canada and most are consistent in terms of food and timely service. Not this location. My wife and I attempted to eat breakfast there this morning (a Saturday) and, granted, they were very busy. But, as I mentioned, I have been in BUSIER IHops where the service was still prompt. Our waitress kept asking us if we were OK with nothing but our waters on the table. I thought I’d be «more OK» if my breakfast would arrive.
After 20 minutes, my wife asked what the hold up was and our server noted, «We’re very busy!» Wrong answer, dear. All you have to say is something like…“I’m sorry about the wait” or, «I haven’t forgot about you.» Anything but shrugging your shoulders and blaming your poor service on the time of day.
10 more minutes elapse. I noticed then other diners who ordered from the same server were getting their food. Time to go. We left and settled for the McD across the street. We did not order anything complicated, nor were we rude to her in anyway. Don’t go to this IHoP unless you feel like sitting around, famished, all morning.

Horrendous service. There were 3 tables (including us, and we were a 3 top) and it took the server 10 minutes to come by and get our drink order. After we ordered our food it took about 30 minutes for the server to bring it out, where she insisted she carried all of the plates when she obviously could not and ended up dropping a plate of food in my lap. Instead of an apology i got «oh the plate was hot». the food we did get was badly overcooked. the server never came by for the remainder of the meal to check if we needed anything or for drink refills, just to set our check on the table and scurry away. needless to say we are not returning to this location.

In my opinion the food is never fresh and they’ve always seemed to mess up my orders the times I’ve went. Also the place smells like old people.

So far I have never had a bad breakfast at any Ihop’s. They make the best egg’s and Hash-​browns consistently. A bit pricey though.

One of the community clubs that I belong to is now meeting at the IHOP on a weekly basis. This evening was our first meeting at the new location. Even with all the confusion, the server did an awesome job keeping the orders straight. My menu item was prepared properly and served hot. Thank you IHOP for the hospitality.

Belgium waffle very delicious ;)!.. I soo recommend and a very friendly atmosphere !

be careful when you pull into the steep driveway here because you could throw off the alignment in your car!
