This is a delicious Indian buffet! The food is amazing, especially the chicken tikka masala and the goat curry! Their naan is always made fresh and is very fluffy! We come here all the time and will never stop coming!!!

My family and I love the food and the service is always excellent. We always go for the lunch buffet; everything is fresh and tasty. The owner is very nice and friendly and always greet us with a smile. I used to go to the one in Jackson Heights and now that we live in Long Island this location is our destination for delicious Indian food.

Now that I’m living in Virginia, I spend my time dreaming about all the indian food back in NJ and NY. Went to visit my grandmother in NY and stumbled across this little gem. I was already bugging my sister to go to an Indian buffet with me and then we conveniently find this location of Jackson Diner. THISISTHEBESTINDIANBUFFETIVEHAD! And trust me, I’ve tried a lot of different Indian buffets. Also keep in mind that my mom also cooks some pretty damn good indian food. Anyways, I digress so back to the buffet. So, its under 10 dollars, lots of options and dare I say the best chicken tikka of my life. I wanted to go back about 2 hours after filling my stomach to maximum capacity and then proceeded to gush about this place all weekend to anyone who would talk to me. Okay I’m done now, already planning my next visit.

Comparable to location in Jackson Heights. Chicken curry was good. Yellow daal was good. Nothing memorable

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The quality of the food, the price, the charming friendliness of the staff, and the location(compared to the Jackson Diner in Jackson Heights it is much closer to my home than the Jackson Diner in Jackson Heights and — when driving rather than biking — there is much easier parking) all combine to make it a winner. Just this afternoon I went for the lunch buffet. The lunch buffet is served every day from opening time at 12noon until 4pm. There are a dozen different dishes to choose from including my two favorites, Saag Paneer and Chicken Masala. Fresh hot and tasty nan is served directly to the table. All of that for under $ 10(I only drink water, for those who need alcohol or crave some other wet treat it will be extra, of course) plus tip. The only downside for me is that I can’t eat that much in the middle of the day: The food is so good I WANT to fill my plate a second time or get some of the lovely chaat treats or desert items, but a single plate fills me up. The food is just as good as the Jackson Diner in Jackson Heights which is usually recognized as the best in New York. I learned only recently that this place was another Jackson Diner location! I’ve never seen this place particularly crowded but I’ve never seen it empty, either. Usually when I’m eating there I’m the only non-Indian in the place. This restaurant is a gem for the neighborhood and I hope they have the great popularity and success which they are earning with their food, service, and overall value.

Let me begin by saying that I love Indian food! This place, hands down, has the best tasting food in the neighborhood. Their buffet is amaaaazing! There’s so much to choose from. The naan are the softest you’ll ever eat. And to top it all off the owner is the nicest person ever. I love having a conversation with him every time I go– and it’s quite frequently.

Happy to have a Jackson Diner in a neighborhood I can park in! Food is as good as the flagship JD and the area has a lot of the same attractions as in Jackson Heights. Get the Achari Mushrooms and Chat Papari, mmmm. Crispy okra, Baingan Bhurta. Oh my gods my mouth is watering and sweat is breaking out on my forehead. I have to stop.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Better than Jackson Heights location, better than London. I can’t compare this place to food in India, because I’ve never been to India. But I bet this place is better than a random buffet in India.

Saag paneer was excellent, and very reasonably priced. I recommend trying it. Definitely coming back!

Good service, clean and attractive place, the food didn’t take too long at all. The masala dosa with coconut was perfect. The saag paneer was good needed a little more flavor but it wasn’t bad at all. The mango lassi was poured from a container but it was delicious. Overall I would definitely go back.

Love this place. The rice, the chicken Marsala, the curry goat, chicken tandoori, chana, veggies, salad and then their rice pudding is the icing on the deal. Went there once and I continue to go at least every other week. Where else can you go Mon thru Thur. Buffet $ 8.95 oh and the Naan oh it’s so good. So freshly made. The service is great. The environment is nice and pleasant. I went to the one in Jackson Hgts. And I prefer the one of Floral Park and mind you I live very close to the one in Jackson Hgts.

LUNCHBUFFET! This is all I want or need to try at this place. I ordered take out and it wasn’t as good. They had a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. The typical ones included chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, tandoor vegetables, goat curry, and dal. They also have a Chat station which I visited about 3 times — wonderful tamarind sauce and chutneys. I loved all the flavors combined. During my meal, I ordered Chai which sealed the deal. The best thing that they did for the lunch buffet was to serve naan fresh to your table. Definitely stood out amongst the competition!

I’ve been here a few times, and I normally eat from their lunch buffet. It’s $ 10, so it’s reasonably priced, and they offer nice variety of options. I like their Chicken Tikka Masala better than a lot of other Indian Restaurants. They also have a lot of vegetarian options. And I’m a big fan of their Chat station. I do think their prices are too high if you order a la carte.

Lunch buffet was quite good. No dishes out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh. Their biriyani was good, as was their chicken tikka masala. The sauces are heavy, as to be expected, so I definitely appreciated the simple salad and the tandoori vegetables as well. They give naan buy request. The rice pudding was a bit too watery.

Tried it the first time for their lunch buffet. I will definitely go back. They offer a nice variety even for vegetarians. Food was fresh and tasty, not overly spicy. Friendly and clean atmosphere.

$ 68 dollars of garbage. I ordered dinner takeout for the family it consisted of chicken korma, lamb vindaloo, lamb briyani, chicken briyani and nan. Worst briyani I have ate in my entire life! It seemed they mixed plain rice with some box briyani mix. The chicken quality was very poor and no one dared take a 2nd piece. The lamb quality was ok. The lamb vindaloo curry portion smelled and tasted like a bucket of vinegar. It was so sour no one wanted to dip twice in that. The chicken korma in comparison only to the horrible lamb vindaloo was better. It was bland and flavorless. The nan was the only thing you can actually eat. The briyani came with yogurt and small salad but no pickle. I would never return here for take out or eat in. Horrible it went to garbage. PS-Take out service was not very frdly neither. They barely acknowledged me and a waitress gave me the stare down as if I am an alein. Couldn’t even crack a smile.

Not as good as it’s more popular Jackson Heights location. But, if you don’t want to fight the traffic, this stand by Indian on the Queens/Nassau boarder is just fine. Awesome vegetable samosas and a killer chicken tikka masala with warm, crispy naan make this a worthy visit. Chicken curry was also very good and the kebobs are juicy and full of spice. Service is very nice and prices are very low do definitely check out the Bellerose location.

Tandoor chicken was too dry. Goat curry was good but not great. But what got me was two things. I ordered chai and they told me at the end they ran out of it. I had ordered two other dishes to go and I had time to run over to Dosa Hutt or Mumbai express for it. If he had told me. Other thing that really annoyed me is I order to go because my kid naps in the car so sadly I eat in the car while he catches his zzzzz. Like WTF, my car is supposed to smell like hot Indian food but I can’t get to it bc there are no plastic utensils?! Not like they forgot. I asked for them. The dude went to the back and said they had no more. Not even 1 fork. So we had to drive home and eat outside staring at the car so as to not wake kiddo or have anything bad happen. Uh if that was the case we coulda eaten at home. Again in that time waiting they coulda gone to buy some or I coulda decided if I wanted take out with no utensils.

I would like to officially welcome Jackson Diner to Floral Park, NY(a.k.a other little India). You are welcome addition to the neighborhood! Today I had their Sunday Buffet. It was pretty delicious. They offered Chicken Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Chaat, Aloo Tikki, Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Veggies, Aloo Bindi, Chana Masala, Paneer Mushroom Muttar, Dhal, and Kheer for dessert. The, masala dosa, rice and naan is served fresh at the table. The chicken Tikka and naan were my favorite. We also ordered mango lassi which was thick and delicious. The service was excellent. Our water was immediately refilled, our buffet plates and utensils were immediately replaced and fresh naan and rice kept on coming. I did find it strange that they changed the utensils after each plate but hey, I’m not complaining about extra cleanliness. All in all a good experience. Give the Jackson Diner of Eastern Queens Little India a try! Let us know what you think!
