Texas Chicken & Burgers

Love this place! Food is so good love the fries and the service is great as well! Although they should add white sauce to the burgers too! It’ll make a difference and it will taste so much better than it already does! White sauce is really easy to make so they should definitely think about adding it to the menu!

My dad just brought home lunch from here and I am so pleased!
The burgers were really good! The right amount of condiment as, a nice portion of beef. I gave this place 4 stars only because I also had the chicken tenders but they didn’t have much taste. All of the food was thoroughly cooked AND they’re halal!!! That’s a plus because it’s hard to find good halal food around here at a decent price point. I will definitely be trying other things from their menu soon!

I give this place 3 starts only because of the policy that you cannot place your order through the phone (have to go in person).
I called trying to order and he said we have to come in person. So after traveling for 25 minutes I got there and they said they don’t have burgers … The only reason I came for was for a cheese burger … Ended up getting halal food from close by but what a waste of a drive.
Although I have had the burger once before and it was pretty good. Worth a try if they have it.

A new restaurant opened up in my neighborhood called ‘Texas Chicken & Burger’ located on 256 street and Hillside Avenue in Bellerose, NY. They offer yummy fried chicken, fried fish, fried shrimp, burgers, french fries, Milk buscuits, chicken wings with various flavors, and for dessert, they offer different cheesecakes (Strawberry-​The best one, lol, Carrot Cake Cheesecake, Pineapple and others).
It’s a nice place to chill, plenty of space to sit and dine in. Clean atmosphere and various combos to choose your meal. Bön apetit!

finally a place that can make some good burgers and fried chicken. The burgers are tasty. my fav so far is the texas hell burger. family had texas original, texas bacon cheeseburger (halal beef bacon) and the spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy wings were coated in franks wings sauce no doubt and were not crunchy as i was hoping. have the burgers #1 and then chicken pieces

Their burgers are so juicy and moist. The fried chickens are very tender and moist. My dog also loved it. My husband and I would definitely come back here to try more food! Mmmm moist~

Best place if you are looking for delicious halal food! Everything on the menu is really good and the place is nice to come with family because there is enough seating for groups. The man working was rest with explaining which combos to get and what we could mix and match. Definitely recommend. Convenient location for me as well

I like to think of myself as a fried chicken connoisseur. I’ve had all varieties of chicken, from hood to fancy, served on waffles or with rice, and everything in between.
If you eat halal fried chicken, you already have a presumption on how it tastes (see: Crown Fried Chicken, Kennedy Fried Chicken). Oftentimes at these locations, chicken is salty usually to hide its lack of flavor, strangely shaped or colored, and sitting under a heating lamp for an extended period of time. While it may be a good fix in a pinch, it isn’t particularly palatable by any stretch of the imagination. Texas Chicken & Burgers breaks out of that mold in fine form, with chicken rivaling bigger franchises.
The chicken tastes very similar to Popeye’s, only the pieces are a bit larger, and there is more skin (if you’re into that sort of thing). As of right now, the chicken is always served fresh, particularly because they are consistently busy, so you’re always bound to get yourself a fresh batch. The fries are always crisp, and they even provide masala powder if you’re looking to give your food an extra kick.
I find myself craving the chicken multiple times a week, and while I try to convince myself to have other things, I find myself heading here whenever I have that junk food kick. They’re open late too! Look for Texas Chicken to be a stalwart in the area for many years to come, and it’s a nice change of pace if you’re growing a bit tired of your chicken being chopped up & served on top of rice. :) I love the food, you guys!

I have been waiting for a halal burger place in Queens that is clean and accepts credit cards. They are very professional. Felt like I was inside a Burger Kings. Their food is awesome. My new Burger joint and I hope to see more locations in Queens.

Went to this place yesterday. I loved the food, it was delicious. The best part is that it’s halal. The sandwiches are so large, one is more than enough. Not giving it 5 stars because the service was horrible. I saw a sign outside that said mix and match and I asked the cashier about it and he said they had no promotion like that, and they only have the ones on the menu.

This place is just awesome. The burgers are made to order. It’s the halal baby of Crown Fried and McDonald’s, but way cleaner. They have options for everyone. Me and sibs have added this place to our Friday night rotation.
