Food is still okay, but I wish they could hire people who actually want to work behind the counter and as servers. Many times I go in here and the service I get is nothing short of rude. At least try and make the customer feel like they haven’t made a mistake by entering your restaurant. So far I have seen a guy who s so grumpy that I want to run out the door and few weeks ago there was a lady who was just rushing around and when asked for simple things will answer with an attitude. Get your act together, Sunshine!

Charged $ 15 for 5 pieces of small goat meat floating over oil. This joint is not Indian. This is Pakistani Muslim joint. When I told them about this oil floating unhealthy food– the person behind the counter said it is for Pakistani Taxi drivers. They like these kind of food. So, Indian and healthy Pakistani people stay out of this join. Heart attack going to happen kind of foold. lol

Came here to order a dozen chicken samosas. I saw that there were only 8 behind the counter. I placed my order with an older gentleman & he walked back to the kitchen to work on my order(what I assumed). Twenty minutes later after seeing the workers rush back and forth from the kitchen to the front counter to help other patrons with their orders, one of them asks me what I ordered. «Sorry we only have these 8 chicken samosas.»((Blood starts to boil)). I kindly told her that the older gentleman took my order & never updated me. She went to check the kitchen & told me that that’s all they had available. Assuming she would expedite my order right then and there… she walked back to the kitchen. I would’ve loved to express my displeasure but I was strapped on time(couldn’t wait for her to come back out) & had to leave unhappy & samosa-less. So to summarize, they made me LOOK at samosas for 20 minutes that I wanted to purchase. Please give me those 20 minutes of my life back. I won’t be back.

I’m not sure where the negative reviews are coming from for this restaurant. I had my wedding(two huge events for over 300 people) catered from here and they did a phenomenal job. I have come here to pick up food for house parties and each time it has been tasty, flavorful, decently priced-they even offer to warm up the food for you before you take it home so its easier for you to serve! I have come here with family and friends and my wife to sit in and eat, each time not being disappointed. From simple naan and kebab, to biryani, tikka boti, chicken makhani(butter chicken) to their ras malai, I am a huge fan of theirs. They have maintained their food quality standards and have not ripped me off any time. Food has an authentic Karachi taste, spicy, good masala, meat cooked well, and the rice isn’t over/under done, I will definitely continue to come here.

Typical desi halal restaurant in NYC, pricing is reasonable with given taste. if you are buying Naan’s for a dinner party or kababs, chicken curry or biryani for lunch it serves the purpose.

Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. Firstly, nobody would argue that the food is here is very good. Most dishes rate far higher than jackson heights restaurants and folks have commented about them below. This is a basic place but I’ve not found any signs of dirt. Give them a break — they are a fine place and I use them for take-out all the time and they even offer me to heat it up

Food is not cooked daily. Not at this location nor the other one. I also got food poisoning from the chicken from here. Week old food.

If you are tempted just don’t. Dirty filthy and old food. Not as good as the 187st sunshine but both are still iffy when it comes to cleanliness. Also why wouldn’t they heat your food for take out? Why would I want to buy food and heat it at home, that’s ridiculous.

This place is a complete scam. Both of the times I’ve been here they’ve ripped me off. The first time I came here, a young man at the cash register recommended the chicken kabab because it was fresh. When the older chef heard this, he came out from the back kitchen and gave the young man a scolding(in Urdu) about how the beef kebabs need to go because they had been sitting out for a while. The chef then took over the register and charged me $ 1.50 a kabab when there was a sign right behind him saying that it was $ 1.00 a kebab. I figured I’d give this place a second chance so I came here with a friend for dinner and got some rice, chicken and spinach curries. The guy at the counter completely overcharged us($ 2.00 a nan when again, the sign said $ 0.75) for our meal. We paid anyway figuring that the extra would’ve been the tip but it’s incredibly annoying to be told one price and be charged double that. I’m never going back to this place again with so many other honest Pakistani/Indian restaurants on the same street.

Service: Takes too long-even if you order in advance you’ll be waiting Food: Butter Chicken is tasty, Chicken Biryani never has enough chicken, Chicken kebabs are tasty and come with a special yogurt and salad, Naan is good. I will stick to the chicken kebabs and naan. Price: Most dishes are 8 dollars. Chicken kebabs are $ 1. Naans are 50 cents. The latter two are a steal. Cleanliness: Questionable– I haven’t seen anything preposterous but I wouldn’t be surprised if I did

When you walk in check out the food display. Absolutely disgusting and unappetizing. Prices are inconsistent sometimes they charge tax sometimes they don’t. If you order a special item prices change daily depending on who is at the register. Also if you give them specific instructions on how to prepare the food it is not followed. Also check how many naans and kababs you get, make sure it is how many you ordered because they will hand you someone else’s order regularly. I have given this place many chances because I am desperately looking for good pakistani food at a fair price. This place definitely falls short.
