This place sucks. The prices are way too high and the customer service is non existent. Oh, and they won’t give you prices over the phone, apparently you need to come in for that highly confidential information. After that phone call I wrote this place off for good.

They always have what I want and I play my numbers here the random occasions I decide to. It’s small, but, I feel that makes stuff easier to find.

The sign outside of the place says it all, «BEER,» it what you came for and it’s what you get. Friendly service, and extra points for carrying locally brewed beer(pbc, and yards).

Lucky Beer, aka«BEER,» is a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the employees are generally pretty friendly and are more than willing to help you out as much as possible. They have a better than expected selection and they actually have a real parking lot. However, the store is cramped and I’m never able to really peruse their selection because of it. It’s hard to maneuver yourself through the aisles, especially if there is a big Powerball drawing any time soon.(Then I’m fighting way through a slew of elderly people who look confused that the young broad might want to get BEER. AT A BEERDISTRIBUTOR.) Also, the location isn’t *the* most convenient. I mean, yeah, it’s right around the corner from the Wine & Spirits on Snyder(by Monster Pets), which is cool if you are doing a booze run for a party, but if you don’t have a car, it is a pain. I mean, my friends have brought a case of beer onto the 79, but we felt it added an air of trashiness to our Septa experience.(OOH! ANDTHEYARECASHONLY! They have a Mac machine, but they’re a strictly cash establishment.) They get four stars because my complaints are really minor ones and because I can’t give ‘em 3.5.
