Ross Dress for Less

Wow this place is amazing! The line went by in 1 minute and the employees were so nice ! ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend ! I shop there everyday and I buy gifts there for family during holidays! When I travel I obviously buy from Ross! Great suit cases that last for years! I have 3 kids and they want to go to Ross all the time! They love the toys there ! Just last week we bought a huge teddy bear and it is great! My little 5 year old is scared of the dark and the bear keeps her company! Shop at Ross!

Friendly staff, well layed out store. I always make it a point to stop it in here when I’m in the area.

This review is for any Ross! I just called several locations to ask for a stock check on a skirt. Not one but several locations said We’re too busy, we’re understaffed, we’re this or that so «come in yourself and look»…really ???
ZERO customer service, crappy unorganized clothing racks, idiots for employees who could care less about their job or helping you, THIS is why I shop at Nordstrom!

Worst customer service. The employees seem like they are all miserable and hate their jobs. Wish the little old Indian lady security guard was still there. She was the best. They do have quite a bit of selection but that’s not enough to bring me back here.

I gave one star for the decent prices. Store layout selection and organization is terrible. Customer service is even worse. Waiting to pay for 20 minutes is ridiculous, especially when employees are walking around slowly and goofing around with each other.
Thank you for the reminder of why I drive to Puyallup.

This store is run so poorly. They hire people who know absolutely nothing about customer service. Once again stood in line to have the very few people working only willing to take sales, 15 mins just waiting. Another 10 mins to make a purchase as then they had decided to only do returns. Guess I’ve been the stupid one to still shop here… No more, I’m done with this nonsense. I will spend my money where I’m treated as human.

To those trying to get a job here at the federal way ross: Worst job you can apply at I worked here for a year and it’s a dead end. You will get treated like crap, managers always try to write you up for the dumbest stuff, they don’t ever give breaks at your 2 hour mark, you’ll be working like a slave if not more. If your able to survive being an employee for 3 months your strong. Before getting hired at ross I was always wondering why ross was hiring all year round. Now it all makes sense they treat you like shit here. If you call out 2 times in one moth your fired. They will fire you for anything and everything. You’ll be watch always like a criminal to make sure you aren’t steeling any of there $ 2 dollar product. You will be working with people who can’t even speak good English. Oh and you will have to deal with some HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Asian customers who will ask you for discounts ALL. THE. TIME. Save yourself some time and don’t even bother trying to get a job here. You will be treated HORRIBLY and I can guarantee you that.

My sister says this place was huge compared to the others we have been to? I didn’t really see a big difference since my mind was set to «go in and go out» with only 1 dress if there was one to my liking.
30 minutes later, I walked out with 1 fuzzy blanket and 6 dresses, haha… What happened?
Well, they did have a larger selection and I just couldn’t keep my hands off of the dresses rack. I told myself I would just try them all on and choose one that I liked… that didn’t go so well. I ended up getting all of them!
The only dislike was the fact that there was a huge line that took 10+ minutes with 2 – 3 sales associates at the register… it wasn’t very pleasing.
Other than that, I will be back!

Ross, Dress for less… Sometimes. It’s a crap shoot often when coming in to these stores. Sometimes you can find the bargains and other times you find a mess, children running around unattended, employees who are less than helpful and seemed overworked and underpaid. My suggestion is this… Come in at the opening of the day. the store is clean and managed well. The later in the day the worse off you are. The clothes are «fashionable» however the prices at times are outrageous. I have bought an entire wardrobe for a season for less than $ 100.00 and other times I think I can buy a similar assortment of clothing at the goodwill and pay half the price.
There is no rhyme or reason behind the chaos in these stores. There is always a security guard at the door part timing as a greeter… that’s odd. The shoe are usually all over the floor because people can’t bed over to pick them up and put them back on the rack. People don’t put things back on the hangers if they fall to the ground the usually kick them under the rack instead.
I like that I can come here and find a little bit of everything, but like any other shopping experience… it takes some time and patience. If you don’t have either, stay away!

It’s hit and miss here. If you’re going for something specific, you’ll probably need to dig. I have looked for dresses here and have decided it’s easier to shop elsewhere. The clothes are all jammed together and it can get pretty crowded in there.
However, in my travels I use a lot of luggage. This is my go-​to place for luggage. The prices are great. So is the selection.
I also go here to get cute little decorating accessories for my house.
It has kind of a ghetto feel to it. But, I still like shopping here okay.

The fitting room girl was being super rude to me. I simply just ask where the restroom was and she answer, «there two people in the restroom and another two waiting in line.» In a super rude way. Like okay I know we have our bad days in all, but geez you could of said it’s right here, if you can kindly get in line.

You definitely can’t count on getting any sort of good customer service when you come to Ross, especially the Federal Way location. There is never enough cashiers on staff and don’t count on getting any sort of greeting let alone a smile. Ross sucks!

Excellent prices and since they redid things good products for the price. Honestly I will get a lot of things from here for my housewares products

This is probably the best Ross store I’ve been to. I have been several times, most recently yesterday. It was remodeled not too long ago so is clean and pretty nice. I try to avoid going at certain times (like right at the end of work hour) because the line gets REALLY long. They have a pretty nice selection of items, and the store is usually fairly organized compared to other Ross stores. They even have a small section of maternity clothes, which has been helpful since I am 5 months pregnant. I just wish there were more maternity clothes but even so I’ve gotten some GREAT deals on pants and shirts. Obviously this is not like a normal clothing store where there are multiples of every item in every size. As long as I’m in the mood to do some looking, I can find some really affordable things here.

Its a hit and miss for this location… I think going earlier in the day and when they’ve stocked up with a delivery is the best advise for this location. The prices are reasonable compared to other stores. I’ve been in here and it sometimes looks as though a tornado came thru especially in shoes and kids toys section but I like going here for my son who is no longer in kids clothes but mens so the price for jeans and sneakers are within my budget! The check out lines can get long… always seems that they don’t have enough cashiers working!

Not a good mens section. I was actually kind of bummed by the size and selection in a variety of sections. Also, in the areas I did browse, they were disorganized and even messy.
I know you get what you pay for but I have been is Ross stores and had much success in other locations.
If I was looking for womens shoes or dresses, maybe it wouldnt have been so bad, but I wasnt…

It’s a crap shoot when you go shopping here. They have a lot of stuff but it might be a good idea to come after they’ve had a delivery of new goods. Don’t hesitate to ask when delivery days happen. Keep in mind they try to keep items that coincide with the season like most stores. If you want a swim suit in the winter, you won’t find a swim suit here.
Things get tossed around and get damaged, zippers not working, tears in the seems, yarn that is pulled out, scratched or broken items. Best to go shopping first thing in the morning when everything is back in it’s place and before the mad rush of people. ROSS can get busy any time of the day.
However there are some good points if you need luggage on a dime. They have a variety of styles for whatever your needs may be and not cost an outrageous amount.
For the ladies, they have inexpensive under garments but carry name brands for a fraction of what it would cost at an anchor store in the mall.
Fellas, they have clothes, shoes and other stuff for you too.
Prices are generally good, but you do have to put in a little work in searching.

Visited this store today (wrote this around the first week of December) since it’s been recently remodeled, I haven’t been in this particular Ross in months and today I remembered why. The shelves were almost bare and disorganized, they have only a few racks of clothes, things strewn on the floors and my ultimate favorite: kids running around unattended playing with merchandise. I actually saw a little girl of about 3 with buggers running down her face and barefoot! I parked my cart to the side and left to never go back, TJ Maxx is just down the street and even though it’s a smaller store the employees are nicer and keep the store clean.

OK I know they are under construction and are waiting to go into a bigger store or something but this is ridiculous there was no shoes in my size and there were not pants either .
the toy section was a mess and so was the home goods department like someone went through with a stick as wide as the isle and knocked off every other item on the floor.

My mom really likes this Ross and has found many things here. I do agree its one of the better ones. I have noticed some Juicy and a few cute things, but I think its lacking in clothing. Well… I don’t think I do too much clothes shopping at Ross no matter what anyway, BUT they have great house stuff in this one. I got a collage picture frame for $ 7 and some pillows for $ 9 each here. The frame would have been around $ 20 at Target. Check out the frames, bathroom, kitchen etc. section.
It’s really far for me, so we don’t come by often. When we are here for the buffet and waiting for a table, this is how we kill time!
