Michaels is pretty convenient for when you need art and DIY supplies quick. Found everything I needed here. The price was descent but I bet you buy a little less cheaper at other places when it comes to paint and mod podge.
The workers were very friendly by greeting me when I was done shopping. I like getting stuff here to make art projects.
Best time to roam around are when there are big sales to items such as décor boxes, Mason jars, etc. I especially love getting stock paper when there’s deals like 5 for $ 1.

I have a little suggestion for this store, free of charge. When you have a line of 30 – 35 people, down one of your isles, STOP asking people for the damn email address! It adds on so much wasted time trying to figure out what they said, type it in, say it again, confirm ETC. Just get the customers in and out and your damn line down. Remember when Radio Shack used to pound people for their phone number? How did that work for them?

The stars are for customer service. I love getting immediate help and recommendations on items. The staff people are pleasant and patient. They always honor coupons even when I don’t know about them. I’m always pleased with the deals.

Horrible lady cashier customer service night of Jan 4th.
Did not greet me as I approached her counter.
During transaction, her attention was somewhere behind her when I attempted small talk about my coupon.
She scanned it.
Asked her if coupon went through …“Huh??” She asks… (again.her attention was not on me. what IS she looking at? Store is empty)
and she processed order. It didnt go through.
Told me I needed to buy $ 1.50 more product (like THAT ever is an issue for me at a craft store. ha!) And we’d have to do a return.
Told her ok and was about to pick up a candy bar at the counter… when she let out a big siigghh…
I said. «you know what, too much trouble. «
“Are you sure? «she whined.
… «yeah, it’s fine. Have a nice day»
…and of course no response from her.
I never had this experience here before, usually it’s great selection and long lines. Maybe they save their A team employees for the peak hours.

Came in here tonight looking for some scrap booking and cake decoration stuff. While they have a fairly decent scrap booking section, I think they could have a better selection of cake decorating stuff. Nothing spectacular about this store, but the staff is friendly if you can find them. The lady at the register actually honored a coupon that I had on the cellphone, which was convenient so I didn’t have to worry about clipping a coupon! I noticed there’s a lot of things out of stock on sale/​red ticket items.

This is the closest Michael’s to me. It’s not good or bad — they have lots of great coupon deals (plus they honor competitors coupons). It could use a good update!

Pretty average for a store of it’s kind. It’s what you would come to expect from a Michaels. While we were there over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and I understand it was probably a zoo earlier in the day and even the day before but it didn’t seem like it was as orderly as it could have been. People do suck and don’t care if they drop something or knock things over, so it’s to expected but I would hope they could spend more time cleaning up after them.
Otherwise, I would recommend, especially in the Federal Way area, being the only craft store worth shopping at in Federal Way!

The store’s decent. It feels a little cluttered because there’s little aisle room and everything seems so close together. I’ve gotten my degrees framed here and they’ve done a nice job on both of them. They have your basic arts and crafts for any need and party stuff. I just wish the store was more spacious/​clean.
