The worst… WORST bartenders I’ve ever seen in my adult life… if I could leave negative stars I would. Thankfully this place is closing

Service took about 10 minutes and when my cousin ordered a sprite we got seltzer instead. The wings were delicious. we’re not overly salty and it had correct hit of heat. Delicious steak and great fries, not terrible but not the best definately decent though

I am sad to hear that this location of D&B has lost their lease and will be cloning in 2015. We have our company’s holiday party there every year and the staff is always very accommodating and friendly. The food is just ok, but we always have a great time there.

Last night, me and my friend went here to celebrate the end of our semester of college and we had a blast! While we had planned to go to Webster Hall in the city, my friend was worried about going home late at night being that we live on different LIRR branches. With that in mind, we decided to come here as it was near my friend’s home and was something that appealed to us. Just to note, I am closer to the D&B in Westbury, which I like too. We arrived here at about 8:40PM and we were greeted by a friendly hostess, who invited us to sit in the restaurant or at the bar. We decided to sit at the bar and the friendly and efficient female bartender helped us and made sure we were well attended to. For our meals, we decided to go with Cajun Shrimp Alfredo and a Long Island Iced Tea for my friend, a Balsamic Chicken and Vegetable Medley for me, and an appetizer of Potato Skins with no bacon for us to split. My friend found her Long Island Iced Tea to be delicious and potent(no drink for me as I was the designated driver). The Potato Skins came out first and we found the potatoes to be crispy and fluffy along with slightly sharp and melty cheese complemented by the bite of green onions, making for a great start to our meal! Next we received our entrees, which while not gourmet(to be expected here), were certainly better than TGI Friday’s or Applebee’s. I found my Balsamic Chicken and Vegetable Medley to be very good, with two tender and juicy grilled chicken breasts, a sweet and sour but not too powerful balsamic reduction, nutty roasted mushrooms, sweet and savory roasted red and green peppers, earthy roasted zucchini and squash, and crisp and fluffy roasted potatoes. My friend enjoyed her Cajun Shrimp Alfredo, with perfectly cooked and well spiced shrimp and a slightly spicy Alfredo sauce. While I was able to get my entrée under the Eat and Play Combo with a $ 20 game card added, my friend was not, so with the addition of a separate $ 20 game card, we spent about $ 80. While this may seem expensive, it was a good night for us as it covered food and entertainment. In addition, there are many deals to be had, like email deals, the Eat and Play Combo, and Happy Hour deals. After our filling dinner, we enjoyed playing a plethora of games, like Skee Ball, Air Hockey, Trivia, various car racing games, a slot like machine, basketball, Guitar Hero, and more. The atmosphere was loud but festive. While I found Dave & Buster’s to be clean, compared to my home location, it seemed a bit worn by comparison(this is older), as evidenced by slightly loose but working soap dispensers in the men’s room. However, despite that, all was fine. After a fun night with my friend last night at Dave & Buster’s, I would love to return again for a night of good fun and fun games!

I was very upset with the cleanliness of the place. The front bar was never kept clean. Many of the menus were sticking to the bar. It was actually gross. The bowling alley hasn’t changed their scoring system in 20 years. I know it’s a spot for teens and kids, but they really should work on cleaning the place up.

This place is sort of awful. The facilities: There’s food, a bar in the middle of the arcade floor, a bowling alley, and a semi-large variety of games. Note that the vast majority of the games are incredibly old. The graphics on some of the racing multiplayer terminals probably date back to the 90’s or early 00’s. There is pool as well, but it’s reserved for the«VIP rooms,» which was a downer because the other D&B’s I’ve been to tend to have that open to the public. The crowd: The crowd consists of angry single mothers, loud children, obnoxious teens, and drunk young adults. Also note that there is trash all over the place and dirty ticket cups(too small to really hold any tickets) lying around. The prizes: There is a decent variety on prizes. But if I were an avid D&B-er, I wouldn’t want to spend my tickets here. Things are overpriced and low quality.

Cool place and idea. Like a grown up chucky cheese without the rat. However the waitstaff have no idea about the games and packages that are offered. And the food is terrible… although my 6 year old liked his burger. I had the cheesesteak and it was way tok salty… The games were fun he had a good time but like i said food and wait staff were subpar

This is a cool place to go to with a couple of friends. It has a restaurant and an arcade. We did the Eat-and-Play combo, which lets you eat at the table and then visit the arcade after. The food is not the best. It tastes slightly worst than Friendly’s. It’s not terrible considering the price. The service was pretty good. The waitress was good but the food took a long time to get to the table. The arcade was better. The games are fun, especially with a big group of friends. The $ 10 dollars on the card doesn’t last long. You might have to fill up the card if you want to spend a long time there. I would suggest this place if you are with a lot of friends and are looking for something cheap and fun to do.

If you teen is hyperactive you officially can let go here. Let your teen play every game while you order your alcohol beverages in the bar. Perfect place to go with friends or family, there was a long wait when it comes to dinning in & it was extremely crowded, but other then that it was a good first time experience, thumbs-up.

I like the outdoor patio area, where they also serve drinks and have live music performance’s. The game’s are expensive and you’ll never win the«cool» prizes, so I don’t really get the point of spending so much money. Bowling rules, as always, and the drink prices are okay. This place is definitely much cooler as a kid though.

So since New Jersey is stuck in the dark ages and prohibits alcohol sales where amusement games are played, I have to trek all over creation for fun. While I was out on the island I saw that there was a Dave and Busters. First of all it was pretty huge. I usually hit up the ones near the Palisades Mall and this places pales in comparison. There’s a larger gaming area, it’s a lot cleaner, not full of unsavory characters. The bartender was friendly and the food is a lot better. I don’t know if I was in some dream or something, but this place was what I thought DnB should be. Unlike the other one I go to, there’s no broken games, they even have a bowling alley. That’s just weird! Reminds me of the days of Sportsworld. I would go again if I was out on the island.

I went to my cousin’s 50th birthday party here on Saturday. It was decent, but I’m not a gamer and have no kids, so I don’t really get the place. He liked it, which is all that matters. The food was OK. We had about thirty or so people there, so we had a buffet. The sliders were pretty good, but no White Castle. Overall, seems like a fun place for kids. Maybe adults who live out on Long Island who don’t have bars like we do here in the city might like it too. The bowling ally looked pretty cool, but we didn’t bowl. The two young servers did a nice job, slipped them a $ 20 bill each. The noise level when you have to walk thru the game room is super high. Don’t be hungover or you might freak out!

I have never tried the food here, but I love playing the dump truck coin game!(That game is not available in the Times Square Location so I come here to play it) They also have stackers with 200 tickets for the minor prize, which is an easy win. It’s a little pricey, so try to come on Wednesdays for half priced games.

Went there for a kids birthday party and it was a lot of fun. It wasn’t too crowded or overwhelming. The kids bowled for an hour, played arcade games with a D&B’s card for another hour and then ate lunch/cupcakes in a large space. Some of the games are a bit mature/violent for 5 year olds, but there was enough age appropriate experiences/games. And then they loved winning tickets/coins for prizes(mainly candy for 220 tickets) and more games. All in all, a great experience for the kids and a great chance for a parent to be a kid again and play some fun games.

I have to agree with much of what Gary has written. Such as the bartender(singular, not plural) had issues with prices-that is what the crappy Micros POS is for. The beer selection is terrible, anything on tap is anything one can easily procure in any grocery store. The burgers are overpriced, as is the rest of the menu, because the quality and preparation is bare bottom wrung level at best. If Dave and Busters cut out the entire food and beverage section from their business model and focused strictly on the arcade and game room area and added some kids foods like pizza and snacks, they could be like a Chucky Cheese on steroids. But on a serious note, Dave and Busters would have a return customer in me, as I would bring my 6 year old who would likely, really enjoy the experience. It is just not for any rational adult.

I was disappointed today at Dave & Buster’s. We arrived as a party of 8(4 adults and 4 teens). We ordered«power card» meals which basically was paying an extra $ 10 or so for $ 20 on a power card for playing the games. The problem is the quality of food and service was just okay. The restaurant part was about half empty so our server was super attentive when we first arrived. We ordered appetizers first to share. The food runner obviously didn’t speak English because when we asked for extra plates he said OK and never returned. Of course, this was about the same time our server took a break or something because our appetizers sat for a good 10 minutes before the server came back — at which point we had to request plates and more drinks. Plates came right out — drinks not so quick. We all ordered sandwiches — mainly philly cheese steaks — they were overly salty. The appetizers — chicken quesadillas — were too spicy for our kids. Mozzarella sticks were just fine — typical frozen mozzarella sticks. Drinks were good but expensive. Really disappointed in this outing today — not to mention the bill was $ 300. I guess we wouldve spent the same on the games regardless but I felt a bit ripped off when we were done. Then we went to cash in the kids tickets and they picked about 20 different candies but of course, they didnt have a bag to put them in. Whatever, I guess the fun afternoon for the kids is supposed to be priceless, right?

first of all I am sure when I have kids I will probably have to bring them here but not this one in Farmingdale. I hate this place, now why? do they not believe in signs? you head in behind the movie theater as your gps will tell you. then what? where is the place? are there lights? signs? anything to show there is a dave & busters? NO! so you drive around this gigantic parking lot with a ton of stores, a big movie theater all well lit up. you try to call your friends who don’t answer since they are in a loud ass arcade. you keep driving around until finally you see this big dark building all the way at the back of the parking lot. you wonder if maybe that’s the place though it looks like a place girls go to get raped. that dark alley you see in movies. would it be that hard to advertise? put up some signs? add some lights? if it wasn’t my friends birthday I would have turned the car around and left after 10 minutes in the parking lot looking for this place. I seriously started thinking my friend was dumb and didn’t realize dave& busters wasn’t there anymore! that maybe it was torn down. because it’s hidden and dark. anyway I didn’t feel like they deserved my money so I played no games and just wandered around bored with friends. I hope next year my friend finds a different place for her bday. plus the soda she got me tasted horrible. how do so many places mess up a soda? it’s soda!

I said it before and I’ll say it again, Dave and Busters sucks. I came here tonight for a birthday occasion hoping it would be better than the one in Times Square but I was wrong. This place was absolutely horrendous! Let’s start off with the bar. There must of been at least 25 to 30 seats surrounding the bar along with booths on the side of the bar plus people at the bowling area. Take a wild guess how many bartenders were working tonight? 1 F’N bartender! Not only he took forever with the damn drinks, he took forever to figure out the prices. We were bowling for a good 45 minutes and the waitress who took our drink orders never came back. How hard is it to pour 2 Johnnie black on the rocks, 1 Hennessey neat, 1 vodka w/cranberry and 1 Long Island Ice Tea? Certified or not, you can make all that within a minute! To make matters worse, the bar closed early. Next we have the bowling lanes. Freakin terrible. They charge by the hour. $ 20 an hour, $ 3 for shoe rental. The lanes are whack! The system takes forever to return your ball and sweep the pins. Many of the times we played, it swept pins that were still standing. If there was 1 pin left, it would sweep it and I would have to throw a gutter ball so it can reset and let the next person bowl. It’s ridiculous! Last but not least, the games. Bunch of racing and gun games. Each of those games cost roughly around 5 – 6 points off your card. The whole card system is a bit stupid too. I rather play games with quarters. This way, in case I don’t use up my quarters, I can save my quarters for parking meters in the future. The only game I like was the basketball hoops. The only reason I liked it was simply because I was making it rain. Verdict — Skip it. Don’t even bother. The biggest waste of time and money. The saddest display of bar service I have ever seen in my life. Before coming in, I was expecting a better experience this time around since its in Long Island and away from all the touristy crap in the city but it’s all the same. I just wanted to have a good time playing games while drinking. Is that so much to ask for out of a business who’s suppose to specialize in that field? Dave and Buster’s suck, end of story.
