I think it’s possible that this place may have gotten a bad rap. I’ve been here plenty of times and although it’s not the Waldorf, it is very nice, especially considering you’re in Fairmont, WV. Your other options are slim to none.
The rooms are clean albeit slightly small. The beds are comfortable and the TVs are flat screen.
The pool and fitness center are great amenities to have available to you. The hotel staff have always been very courteous to me.
Another nice perk is that if you’re hungry you’re within walking distance of Applebee’s, Taco Bell, Firehouse Subs, Bob Evans and a few others!

The hotel is noisy. I travel a lot and meet a lot of front desk workers and this hotel has the most turn over ever. THe staff always says how management is not friendly. A few times staying I felt like i was not the guest at all. The prices are crazy, several times they sold my room even though I had a reservation. Luckily I found a better hotel that welcomes its guests and tries to do everything they can to help us «hotel homeowners» make our stay a great one.

Forgot to finish my review. Noisy. And I travel a lot and am used to hotel noises. Trust me, it’s NOISY. Overpriced too. Try the Holiday Inn Express, one exit north, instead.
