The pizza is good but ordering delivery is horrible from this place. They always try to make us come in to pick it up. They have coupons in all the flyers but don’t honor them and say they don’t apply to delivery orders though it doesn’t say that on the coupon.

Mehhh. I tried this place out because my friends said it was really good, but mehhhh. It is really nothing special. I’d rather order from Domino’s and it would be cheaper and probably a lot better tasting.

Flip pin’ Pizza is flippin’ great. Of the locations I have been to, this is the favorite customer service, food temperature, and taste have been much better here than others that I have been to. I have had both the artichoke pie(a little too much garlic, for me) and the Bronx pie(we have a winner) as well as a calzone and one of their chopped salads. Throughout my experiences, everything had been fresh, but I also tend to get a whole pie rather than a slice. Definitely a great place for folks interested in NY style pizza!

Large garden salad was not very good. Diced very small and watery in the bottom of container. The pizza was even worse. I cannot believe that it was baked to order. It was barely warm and had the look and taste of pizza that has been sitting out. Crust, sauce, and amount of cheese left much to be desired. And the prices were quite high — $ 15.95 for a cheese pizza. My husband said it was the worst pizza he’s ever had. Will not waste my money here again.

Amazing pizza. I especially love their lunch specials for only $ 6 with buffalo chicken and pepperoni slice. Also it’s awesome Cuz there’s no delivery fee unlike papa johns. I recommend

The pizza here has always been good but the last two times we ordered delivery they called a half hour after the order was placed to say they couldn’t deliver. The first time they didn’t have a driver and the second they said he had 8 orders ahead of us and we would have to wait another 75 minutes for our order to be delivered. That’s almost two hours in total and we live three minutes away but couldn’t leave the house because of a napping child. They weren’t even a little apologetic for the inconvenience and as such they have lost a loyal customer.

Burnt pizza… horrible service from manager… Ordered a pizza for takeout. Got home and found it was burnt all black from the bottom and not edible. Called the manager and he said«Sorry but there is nothing we can do today. We will give you a discount if you buy another pizza tomorrow.» I asked if he could at least replace our current pizza. His answer was that the person picking it up should have checked the bottom of the pizza to make sure it wasn’t burnt. So remember… if you order pizza here, the manager wants you to flip it over and make sure it isn’t burnt before you pay for it.

Just grabbed a quick bite here. Pizza was delicious. Best sauce I’ve had in a long time

I love the buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza tastes fresh. It’s a thin crust which I usually don’t like but they make it work here

Best pizza in the area. Great quality, great toppings, a slightly«healthier» alternative for pizza.

Not a fan of their service and attitude. placed an order over the phone for pizza and an 8 pc order of wings. asked them to give me 2 different flavors. he said fine, gave me a total. i arrived at the place to pick up. the little girl behind the counter just stared at me with a «what are you doing here?» look rather than greeting me. the total she gave me was more than what i was told on the phone. looked at the receipt and saw that they’re charging me $ 5.95 two times — one for each order of wings. wait, but i ordered one order and they said they’d give me half half flavors. the guy working there says«we don’t do things that way». well, why didn’t you say so on the phone??? i said whatever, paid, and left. hindsight, i’m thinking i should’ve been that guy and abandoned the order.

Best Pizza in the area. The topping selection is limited but the ingredients are of high quality. I’m glad they deliver to my neighborhood.

The pizza can be tasty when it’s fresh and made right but food quality and service is a hit or miss at this particular location. The last couple of times, in addition to stale pizza with very little cheese, there was a strong odor that permeated through the store especially near the soda machine. I’ve had much better luck with fresh pizza and good customer service at the Reston location which is a bigger, brighter, more modern store with a pleasant and friendly staff.

My 5 year old daughter and I had a great lunch today by the window. The prices were great and the quality was off the charts. We will look forward to eating there again soon!

I have always enjoyed a slice of pizza there. Last experience we had was picking up two pizzas were one the dough was not cooked when we got home. After calling back they did deliver us a new pizza but unfortunately me being allergic olives that we requested not to be on the pizza was loaded with olives. At this point I was too exhausted to call back again to complain about the pizza that I could not even eat this time. Not really sure what I think about Flippin pizza anymore all’s I know is I could bend Flippin dead if I ate the pizza with the olives that was replacing the pizza that they undercooked Not sure what to think

I am giving flippin pizza 1 star as I have yet to receive my order. I placed an order for delivery approximately 2 hours ago, which was supposed to be delivered 1 hour and 15 minutes ago. I called about 45 minutes ago to check in on the order and they said it was on the road. However, I live about 2.2 miles from the restaurant, so I am not sure what happened. I got a call from the delivery person about 10 minutes ago asking for directions(apparently they don’t have GPS?), but alsas, the food has still not arrived. By the way, this was not a large order: just a single pizza.

I’ve been here twice with my kids. They liked the pizza a lot, as did I. Service is fast and friendly. Today my kids each got a slice to eat in, and I ordered a large Brooklyn pizza to go(fresh garlic, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage). The Brooklyn was great, with a thin crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. The fresh garlic really come through without overpowering the pizza.

Good simple pizza. Nothing spectacular but simple thin crust pizza. If you want a light none greasy pizza this fits the bill. Pricing is in line and a great combo deal if you bring your kids. They enjoyed it. Clean place which is something I hold to a high standard. I will be back.

By and large the best pizza in nova. This chain offers simple, honestly good pizza and delicious calzones. The new location is smaller than a lot, but sorely needed in Fairfax. Don’t believe the low star reviews until you try it out. Try the four cheese pizza, not available by the slice, but adds gorgonzola to a nice white pie.

Debated between 2 and 3 stars. I hate giving 3 stars, it seems so wishy-washy. Make up your mind! Did you like it or not? And that ridiculous name doesn’t help. Flippin? Spell check is dying over here. Nonetheless I was excited to try Flippin Pizza after reading the reviews which called it the most authentic New York pizza in NoVa. But now I’m wondering where in New York those reviewers came from. Syracuse? Albany? Cause I grew up on New York Pizza and baby, this ain’t it. Now it’s decent enough pizza, but at $ 19 /pie I want better than decent. We got a plain cheese pie and a Brooklyn. I didn’t taste the garlic at all on the Brooklyn but the biggest disappointment was the ‘meatballs’ Instead of little balls of meat, there were grey slices of something. Maybe meatball, I don’t know, it was pretty bland. Dinner — 2 pies, a small Caesar salad, an order of pretty dry garlic knots was $ 50. That seemed very pricey for what we got when I compare it to nearby Mama Lucia’s(which is better) or even Wiseguys in DC(which is the best pizza in the DMV) Service was decent, but it seems like the eat-in area was an after-thought; no dedicated wait staff and only to-go paper menus. They offer a lunch special — $ 6 for 2 slices and a Pepsi and I’d return for that. I decided to add the third star because it is common knowledge that that strip mall is cursed — nothing survives more than a year(except that Dollar Tree) so it took real chutzpah* to open there! * chutzpah — New York Yiddish for balls.
