China Gourmet II

I love Chinese! I am in estero for holidays and really needed my Chinese fix. We looked and looked on Unilocal for positive reviews, close to where we are staying. Could really not find too many. CG was the closest place, but had no reviews. We took a chance, and are thrilled that we did! Spare ribs, chicken broccoli, house fried rice, egg roll, spring tools, chicken terriarki, all excellent. Not real greasy, settled very nice in tummy. Tasti and good! Totally recommend! Thank you

Awesome. General t chicken is the best here. The crab Rangoon is okay. Worth buying but isn’t the best I’ve had. Got their ribs the other day weren’t good at all too dry. But that wasn’t my order that was my mans.

GROSS! the chicken in the general toas chicken was hard! Did they ever hear of using white meat chicken? The man was so rude when we came in to order. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else! The WORST FOOD EVER!

Not good! This is our 3^rd time trying it and were hoping for the best! I had to add egg, Tamari, and rice wine to make it taste somewhat remotely like the Chinese food we are accustomed to. Fried rice had no taste and no color. The Mei fun, same thing. Spare ribs were tough and didn’t taste fresh enough to doctor up and save. Ok, the spring roll was ok. $ 30 worth of inedible food. It had to be reinvented with my ingredients. In its defense, I’ve had to do the same for another Chinese restaurant from Naples. The chicken and broccoli was ok at best. Bourbon chicken was tough and bland. Much better at the mall food court. Don’t bother if you’re searching for good Chinese food. It’s definitely not here.

It’s a nice take out American Chinese restaurant. The food is tasty… the people running it are super friendly, funny… It is a nice little small take out joint!

I’ve ordered here a few times and never disappointed. You will find the standard Chinese food but it’s made fresh. It’s great to pick up after work and watch a good movie. They have good chicken fried rice.

Mediocre Chinese food. Egg rolls were bad, under fried and very doughy — not much in the way of filling. The other dishes we ordered were ok, nothing fantastic, nothing disgusting.

Do yourself a favor — do not order take out from this place — frankly it sux
wonton soup flavorless, broth only with wontons — no greens, no pork and the wontons nothing to write home about
eggrolls — the «skin» was not cooked through, was chewy and the insides bland
mooshu pork — the best of the lot but still not great
these folks seem to have an «I don’t give a sheet» attitude — maybe they figure there’s nothing else in town so here’s the crap you ordered …
Have to agree with Michael R on this one — avoid it

Not as good as other Chinese takeouts. For example. The general tsos chicken is dry. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Always good and really inexpensive. They have lunch specials til 4 and the service is always fast and friendly.

Decent food and prices. Just another Chinese food place. Very surprised to learn they have french fries available.
Not 5 stars because nothing super special about this place.
