China Town

Delicious and inexpensive Chinese food! The dinner portion sizes were very large… they were large enough to feed two people. The vegetables were fresh and not loaded down with sauce. Everything was tasty, and there was a short 10 minute wait from when we ordered (and we were 3^rd in line!).

I agree with the other reviewer that the food from China Town does have that New York style taste; I grew up in Queens, NY and have frequented a good number of Chinese restaurants — from formal sit downs to takeout. China Town definitely falls under the category of a takeout Chinese restaurant. The site is small with a few tables, the front counter, and the cooking area behind the front counter. But here are my reasons why this is a 5-​star eatery for me and my family:
— flavors stay true to NY takeout: from the fried rice to the wonton soup to the beef with broccoli
— the lunch specials are incredibly low cost, considering the generous portion of food you get and the can of soda that comes with your meal. Not to mention virtually all other restaurants in the area (including the fast food places) are overpriced
— unlike many Chinese food takeouts, China Town has found a way to keep the food as minimally oily as possible. That is a big plus for those of us who wind up with stomach aches after eating this type of food
— the staff at China Town are efficient with being right on time with filling orders; we received our order (2 lunch specials, quart of white rice, quart or wonton soup, quart of chicken noodle soup) within the 10-​minute time frame that we were told it would take
My family and I were very pleased to have found such an affordable restaurant that makes such delicious food. I only wish that we discovered this gem earlier in our vacation. This will be our go-​to whenever we are back in Bonita Springs!

The menu claims this is New York Style Chinese food. I live in New York City and I will vouch for it. Tried the beef with broccoli, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and egg rolls. All good!
There is some seating (and a restroom!) but this is really a take out place.

We ordered a ton of food for a new Year’s party ($ 150 worth) — we placed the order at 4pm and asked to pick up the food at 6:30. We arrived at 6:30, paid for the food, and was told that they hadn’t started the food yet, and it would be another 30 minutes. I’m still at the restaurant waiting at 7:15. They keep on saying it will be another 10 minutes. I get that it’s hard to make such a huge order and have it ready on time, but that’s why we placed the order 2.5 hours before we needed it. We have little kids who are still waiting for their dinner. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Best place for chinse in the bonita area. I haven’t even found Chinese this good in Naples where I work. I go out of my way home to stop in and get my carry out. I have been back many times, consistantly good.

Not too bad.
Located in a tiny strip mall (Hawthorne Plaza) on Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs.
Service was very efficient and everything was very clean and nicely taken care of.
Food was banal yet very fresh and filled us up nicely. Nothing more, nothing less.
Would definitely come back.
